I don't know why but the fae played a prank on my older sister.
She has this ring she absolutly adores and she took it off to make brownies. She left it on our Island in the kitchen and then it was gone. For 2 days we looked for it. Then I found while watering my plants in the back yard! How did you get from the kitchen to the back yard? I believe it's FAE! Why would they prank my sister? She doesn't even believe in fae.

I don't know. Maybe. She's never shown any interest before.

I was pranked by fae yesterday. One took my calculator right before my algebra final and kept it for a good 2 hours. I don't know what he did with it but he told me he only took it because he didn't know what it was. The dork.
In your sister's case, it might just be the fact that rings are siny

OH BLINDBLUE THAT STINKS!!!
They will usually begin to take things to either show you they are around or because they are curious about something (such as food lol). But like Blindblue said they love shiney things especially :)

She doesn't know. She just knows that I found it in the backyard.

They live for reaction. It's like with little siblings don't show them interest they stop. So I keep showing interest!

Hi Faecat! That sounds interesting! I do think that the Faery may have noticed the ring and just thought it would be fun to move it over to the garden… who knows if they also knew that you, yourself would find it there too :-)
It's also a possibility that they liked the ring and wanted to have some fun with it over in the garden… but then left it there. I know that the pixies love shiny things like rings and stones- so they may have really wanted to have some fun with it :-)
