i have been trying to see the Fae for ages, and i have tried everything, i think the Fae don't want to talk to me.
I'm loosing hope.
 please help, in anyway you can.

dont worry, i talked to fae when i was little and i didnt even know it, i thought it was just my imagination, so if itfeels right, try to think of a fae standing their or whatever and then talk to him/her and keep ur mind open to what him/her says…….just its importaint not to try very hard, as for seeing fae, if u can talk to them, ask them to show u what they look like. as for seeing them in general, try to notice everything, like if u see a big green light moving outside ur window, ull atomaticly dismiss it as light from a lamp or whetever, so u should try to go back, and think, their wasant a lamp near their, so what could that be?

As Athidal talks about in her thread http://www.realfairies.net/for…..mp;ret=all sometimes it is a matter of “don't try, just do.”
I think of it like forcing relationships, or pestering your parents into getting you something… sometimes the more eager you are the worse the outcome.
If you meditate, or are sensitive to receiving psychic messages, why don't you try to ask the fae why they haven't shown themselves to you? Ask them for a sign that they have at least heard you. And try to specify a sign, because many, many hints fly by us every day.
Don't give up  just know they are out there and have faith. Sometimes the part of the world we live in has a very, very, 'closed' veil — and so we need to become the doorway ourselves.
Also, if you don't think you are sensitive enough to realize you are receiving messages, just try starting a journal to record meditations and dreams in. It sounds boring, and honestly at first it is, but after a while it becomes easier and much more insightful. You begin to find common threads, like being angry a lot in dreams, the color pink showing up often, water symbolism, etc, and then you can begin to identify deeper messages and their sources. And just record 'weird' things that happen throughout the waking day as well, see what you can draw from those.

Think about things that happen in the course of a day that may be out of the ordinary..a sound, a smell, a movement in the corner of your eye, things moved out of their places..I believe that the Fae will communicate in their own way with those who believe, but differently with different people. They have to check you out at first, so to speak.

Everyone has given some good advice so far. :) I would only add that you might want to spend some time showing the faeries that you are someone they would feel comfortable talking to – that you have an open heart and mind, that you are someone who can keep promises, that kind of thing. I think it's important to them, and they can tell if someone is trying to decieve them. If you don't feel like you are that kind of person yet, then spend some time working to develop those qualities. It helps! :)
Hang in there, and keep the faith. Anything's possible with patience and persistance. :)

I agree with everyone's replies here– and don't even try- just know they are there and if you enter a certain area and feel this joyful atmosphere–even though noone is there, then you are sensing the invisible Beings that are in that area that you can't see with your eyes.
You need to stop trying to see or feel them though- because then you are putting all your energy into doing that- which will end up taking away from sensing anything.
Also, be patient- you have youre' whole life yet - I'm going to be 47 pretty soon and I still have another possible 43 years more to maybe have another encounter- in my situation I prayed to meet one, but left the who, when, where , how up to the Great Spirit- that's just me though and how I chose to approach it. All my young life, I saw no faery and I didnt believe in them because of that- I did see a pink flying light though, and I always wondered about that –but ended up sticking it into an "X-Files" question folder in the back of my mind.
