So, I was in my front yard, trying to plant some flowers. It was really early, so it was still a little dark. Then, I felt a gentle tickle on the left side of my neck. I quickly turned my head to see Plume with his pink feather. Startled, I gasped, and fell onto my back. Quickly, Plume landed on my nose, smiling at me. I laughed a little, and told him he surprised me. He responded, "I sure did! Why are you so afraid of me?!" I sat back up, and told him I didn't really know. He told me that humans shouldn't be so frightful of things just because they're not too familiar with them. Then, he tickled my nose with the feather, and flew towards the flowers I had planted. He sat down upon one of the flowers and disappeared in a light that shimmered like glitter. Darn! I forgot to ask him all my questions!

He's still around even if you can't see him so go ahead and ask the questions. Call his name out and just start talking. If he feels he can answer them he will. If it's something he's not comfortable with he probably won't say anything in which case don't push the issue. I checked into the flowers yesterday Begonias can be grown indoors and are pink. They're fairly easy though I think roses will be liked better.

You know something thats fun to do and it works. Make a fancy letter for him. Every once in a while I'll make letters like these for various reasons. I leave the center blank but the margins on the outside I draw and paint things like trees, symbols, horses or landscapes. I use an ink wash with a very dry brush for painting or the paper will wrinkle. I then pick out a type of writing I want to use and use it to make the letter in the center. I do that in pencil always first because I don't regularly practice Callegraphy. If I were in your position I would write one and place it in the fairy house. Usually takes a couple days to make the letter. I sometimes even use real gold and silver leafing on it if I feel it's important enough. Water colors work excellently for this. They need not be expensive the ones used for school children work quite well and the set I use the only difference is I have more colors on the pallate because I find having to mix liquid paints to be somewhat wasteful. colored pencils, pastels would work fine too just make sure to use a fixative spray for the pastels. Hairspray works in a pinch for that too. Try writing your questions on there. I bet he'd like that.

Wow, what a cute experience! He seems like such a cute and friendly little guy, once he gets past his shy stage. Its true though, we humans do tend to avoid and be afraid of what we dont know. Valuable lesson taught by Plume!

Thank you for sharing all of this with us, kingowing! I have a feeling he knows you have questions to ask him, and he's waiting for you to ask t hem– but you seem to be at a loss for words !
Don't be afraid– yOu know something? when you mentioned how he dissapeared into a shimmer of light- like glitter- that is EXACTLY the same kind of flying pink light I saw in my home, outside of my home the year that I had my faery encounter back on May 2008!
I saw this pink sparkly comet-like light zoom by the apple tree near the faery's garden, then also dance at the ceiling of our living room when I was playing music for the Faeries on my CD player. :-)
