I just thought of this maybe I should post it here you would probably like the story.  This happened when I was 10. Even when I was little I was always hiking through the woods where ever I was allowed to.   I wasn't much of one to be social when i was that age.  I never got lost and have always had a good sense of direction.   Well my family went to a camp in Rochester Indiana. I of course when I had the first opportunity decided to go walking in the woods around the lodge. ( it had sort of a hotel type place to stay as well as cabins)  The area was planted with spruce trees and they were planted in rows in such a way that it was extremely disorienting. I hiked for an hour and was totally mixed up. And there were no roads nearby to reorient myself with. I tried to find my way back and it was starting to get dusk outside. I was getting worried and was very thirsty I had bought no water or food with me. ( something which never happened again after that) I didn't want to give up but I didn't really know what to do and then I saw this stag. It was a species of deer which I was unable to indentify until just a couple years ago. It was a european species of deer. I at the time knew that I should follow him. He led me back to the camp I was back within an hour. I had been circling about 2 miles away.

Very interesting.. Makes me think that this stag could have been a shape-shifted faery leading you back to safety.

I wouldnt expect a European breed of wild deer walking about like that in the United States.     Seems way more than a cooincidenceWink

It is very strange I've wondered many times exactly who it was. They do farm deer up that way but I don't know that they started that back then ( was about 1976)But you'd expect a deer to run. The behavior was definetly unusual.I think I know who it was now but I'll never be sure unless the entity reappears and tells me this.

There was another incident a little before that. I was a bit younger and I can't remember I was  trying to practice roping my younger and then 2 year old sister( in anticipation of catching wild horses which was my sole ambition at that age) and we were in back of the house We both saw this large orb the size of the moon.  It was white  and shown quite brightly even though it was still day I believe it was late afternoon. I went inside to tell my father that there was a UFO in the back yard. I knew what UFO's were then.  He went out to look and it was gone. I now think that probably was sidhe. I was still at the age where the ability to see would still have been present. My sister does not remember the incident but she was very young at the time. She saw it as well though.

Funny I hadn't thought of the incident for a long time. I'm kinda suprised I still remember it actually I wasn't very old at the time.

Thats very cool! I love hearing about the stories involving animals. They are so interesting and I really think there is more to them then a cute little family pet and so on. Thanks for sharing your wonderful story :)
