~FIRST NIGHTTIME ENCOUNTER~
One night not too long ago I was in bed, actually at the time thinking about fairies. You know they can talk to you in your head, right? So anyway, I was thinking all sorts of things when suddenly–without my control of the brain–a deep male voice called my name. “BRIGID,” it cooed inside my head. Startled, my eyes flashed open. If I can remember, I might have looked out from under the covers…but nothing was there. The male voice sounded like my brother, somewhat, but he is twenty-two and lives in another state and wasn't visiting, so he didn't walk in. My father's voice sounds nothing like that. No one walked in…Does this even relate to the fairy subject? Am I thrown off track or, possibly…outsmarted somehow?
Then what is the solution?
~SECOND NIGHTTIME ENCOUNTER~
Again, I was in bed. A barely small light flashed past my covers, past my eyes, able to see through the sheet of blanket (It was this summer, so I used a light, see-through blanket). That was it.
Except the feeling.
When it whooshed past my eyes, I felt a joyous, silent intake of breath (I'm strangly prone to quiet gasping) that felt like cooling fresh water on a hot day, falling into a pool of water slowly. (A water fairy, perhaps?) I let the most fresh, water-like breath go. I felt very joyful and in a laughing manner at the time, but didn't smile or giggle for a strange reason…It is hard to explain how I felt.
What do you think about my experience?
