I was outside recently just taking pictures of nature and when I looked through my pictures I noticed some weird figures and faces…one of which I can't show anyone anymore except from my phone because I can no longer locate it in the picture or on the tree. I'm not sure if i have access to the origional pictures at this moment but I do have ones that I zoomed in on. Maybe you can shed some light on these beings for me.

and here's the one that I can only show from my phone:

If you look closely you can see what appears to be an elderly woman in the tree bark.

If I were just a fairy small I'd take a leaf and sail away; I'd sit astride the stem and guide it straight to Fairyland, and stay. ~Ben Johnson If you don't believe in the unbelieveable then how can you be openminded enough to believe in anything? ~Me

Oh, and something I should mention is theres two trees side by side with intertwining roots in my front yard that look almost like a portal. They're oak trees if that makes a difference. There's always tons of clover around this area and the second picture is from one of those trees.

I was making a fairy house(as I mentioned in another post) and while I was collecting materials I walked by those trees and I heard what sounded almost like someone hitting wood against wood…like a wooden hammer or something. I couldn't find any source for it and I looked everywhere for a woodpecker(even though it didn't really sound like one) and I couldn't find anything. Finally I pressed my ear up to the tree and the sound seemed to be coming from inside!

I'm not sure what to make of that..

Very interesting-    Gnomes and leprechauns, etc.,  are said to use trees as portals so it wouldn't surprise me that one or more of them are intentionally getting your attention!
