Orbs are a favorite sighting of amateur ghost hunters and spiritualists alike, but sadly the majority of them are caused by dust (making actual orb sightings something often overlooked). Try cleaning your camera lens and trying again. Try in the daytime as well, and with your friends' cameras if possible. I don't mean to burst your bubble and give you a mundane answer, but it's better to know the more probable possibilities so you can eliminate them ;)

We had a discussion about Sylvia Brown (and a couple of other authors) on another thread actually, and figured out that Sylvia Brown may not be 100% reliable. Not to say that some of the things she writes aren't true, but when some of them pretty clearly aren't, it's always best to be cautious. :)

It seems there are several different things that could cause orbs like that, ranging from dust and particles in the air (as Kikuyo said) to actual glimpses of nonphysical beings like fae or ghosts. Looking at the environment you took the pictures in is probably a good way to try and decide. Since you say you live next to a cemetary, it seems more likely than usual that you might have been catching some ghosts. :) But, as Kikuyo said, it's always a good idea to check your camera lens to make sure it isn't dusty, and to make sure the air is fairly clear when you take pictures. If it's dusty or misty, for example, then there are more likely to be physical causes for the orbs.

(On a funny side note about this, I once took a tour through one of the privately-owned little caves near where I live, and this particular cave had an underground river in it (so the atmosphere down there tended to be misty). I'd read in a book that some people who support the Hollow Earth theory claimed this particular cave held an entrance into the inner world, so I asked the tour guide if he'd ever heard that. He hadn't, but he did say that the local ghost hunting group kept claiming that it was haunted (maybe because someone used to run a speakeasy down in the end of it), and the group kept asking for pictures of the cave that had orbs in them. The guys who take care of the cave eventually got so tired of this that they gave the ghost hunters just what they'd asked for, which turned out to be hundreds of photos. So we all figure the ghost hunters are gonna be busy for a while, sorting through all that. XD)
