Hello everyone, Im pretty new here, and Im sure newbies usually share their fae stories. Unfortunately I dont have any too exciting :(

I've always believed in fairies, although at my age most people would think Im crazy. I have my younger sister and brother onboard though, but Im afraid they may be outgrowing it.

I've read many of your fairy encounters, and they all sound like such wonderful experiences; I am jealous, I will admit that!

I cant say I have had an encounter myself, which really depresses me. I feel to really be a part of this forum I need to see! So I will continue to read up on what attracts fae best, but really, its just luck isn't it? Is there anything I can do to help me?

It's great to have you here and I really don't think we concentrate on who has had "experiences" or not.  I for one, don't know the "experience status" of everyone on the forum and I'm sure it is the same for others here too.

If you read my signature quote in all my posts-  there is a quote there that actually came from a real faery — and recorded down on the http://www.fairysource.com  website .      It says, "It is better to love than to see"       and this is what we all should concentrate on-   LOVING the faery and what they stand for-    Loving this Earth and planet like they do.      Seeing is not important.  As long as you keep an open heart and connect with them– through your heart,    take my word for it-  you will be one of thier friends.

 Never say "never" because one day one  of them– may decide to surprise you-   and   when you do see thier lights flying about- it's usually very quick –as you said.      Also unexpected as well.      you dont go out side looking for faeries and then find them. They appear when they want-  and when you least expect it- IF you are meant to see one.

Pay attention to your dreams as well-as many of the faery prefer to communicate with us while we are in the dream state.     They will often speak to you while you are still half awake/half asleep.

When you go out in nature- or near any trees or gardens– even the sides of the road where there are wild flowers or grasses–    Pay attention to the feelings you pick up there-        A joyful presence surrounding you often indicates faerie's at work –  and their personalities can be felt.      You will often see alot of insects and moths or butterflies about too-   as these insects are sensitive to positive energy -and like how a moth will fly to the light, so will they also fly to high positive energy .     In many areas where I've walked, I was moved to tears seeing butterflies dancing about in the woodland grasses–    including those little buttery yellow butterflies  –  

When you are out in nature- see if you can sense the faerie's presence there–    It is an air of innocence mixed with playfulness and joy-     When they are out and about during the day- you will actually sense it–  even if you can never see them.

I didnt believe until my mid 40's-  and  then afterwards did see one after I said a prayer for God to allow me to meet one of these Beings.        They exist- and are very real.       Don't worry about not seeing t hem.    One day after death all of us will see more and more!!    This physical life is temporary — so don't stress about what you can see or not now.   We have eternity

Well put on the last part. I have the same beliefs, and you are very right, we have many opportunites to see :)

Excellent posts as usual, Lisa,  and of course, I completely agree with everything you said!  You are right, there are many other ways of having the fae in your life besides actually seeing them…

And, JollyRancher I think it could be important to stay open to all the possibilities that Lisa mentioned.  I wasn't trying to tell you that you probably won't ever experience them–I don't feel that's true–I was just saying that it isn't a requirement for participating here.

Thank you Lisa, you are a very kind person, that I can tell and I barely know you! I can see why fae would want to be around you, you have so much knowledge, and with all your wisdom that you've shared with me, I feel a lot better about the fact that I have not seen a fairy – yet. Thank you everyone, I just feel more and more comfortable in this community, everyone here is so so special, and I respect you all so much for your beliefs :)

Hi!, you guys are so sweet, but I'm just a human in training!

I havnt seen a faery again like the day of that encounter that started it all for me back in May 31, 2008.

Since then I have seen their lights fly by  –  pink sparkly comet-like    and  the last one I saw was a bright red little light.       It seems that during the WInter months, I dont see anything — just in Spring, Summer and Fall , but I dont expect to see a faery again like that day- since I am not psychic.   It was just something I feel that was permitted me, after that prayer I made asking God to let me meet one. 

I hope to see them again after I die :-)
