i don't know if anyone of you have watch avatar. i just finish it today, well i was planning to watch it but never got to it until i don't know, i just want to watch the making of avatar. i really don't know why i suddenly thought that. well i did watch it and i was capture by what i was seeing, the making of the avatar which urge me to watch the movie itself.

i watch it online and was very amaze by it. i was crying and cheering on some parts. I even laugh too.

i was very hurt and touch by the line "they kill their mother", i was like, no, no. i was just breaking down. my sibling was laughing that i was crying, i was so hurt by what i was seeing.

But than i came to a realization, when i remember that people feel depress after watching the movie. i made a connection, that maybe people too want the connection of the earth like the movie. they want to be connected to mother earth, i guess they just don't realize it yet. But i believe the base idea of the movie was to show us the beauty of a planet, and to tell us that we should stop what we are doing. the line i mention is a very easy way to figure it out.

i was very touch by the love of the main characters, yet i don't understand it too. I even long to live within the movie, and see the beauty of the plants that glow in the night. I just thought they look pretty, don't all viewer think that. i bet they do.

i think the people themselves look odd with the noses, but then i think they look very attractive. Especially their eyes.

i know we should try to avoid TV, but i think avatar is worth it. I think those who watch it may understand my point of view and if you haven't you should. It's hard to explain it, i am even fighting myself to understand what i'm feeling at the moment.

i guess if people were already accepting ideas like this, maybe the first contact with other beings may be okay.

i think if the fairies watch it, i think they will also be awe too.

i would love to heard your thoughts on it. LaughLaugh

i have the website to watch it if anyone wants it.

I recently saw it as well. In fact, I was thinking about making a topic myself! That line you said hurt you completely hurt me as well. When he says to Eywa to look into Grace's memories; to see that there is no green left on earth and that, “They killed their mother.” Totally painful to hear such a thing. Mother Nature may not be as connected to us as the Na'vi are to their Eywa anymore, but if we tried hard enough on a large enough scale… Wishful thinking, but man, Avatar packs quite a punch, doesn't it?

I also remember finding myself thinking during the movie (during parts that weren't as action packed and I wasn't 100% "IN THE MOMENT"), "I wish the fae were here with me watching this!"

Yeah, I cried a bit too when I saw it; mainly when the Na'vis' tree home got slaughtered and also their people.

It was a very powerful movie and even though the message told me things I already knew, it was different actually seeing all of that played out before my eyes.

I haven't seen it but I want to… I think the human race is really maturing spiritually. I was watching a non-magical/fantasy TV show (gasp). This guy died and he saw his dead daughter telling him to go back to earth. He did and survived. I was really happy because this shows that even skeptical people are starting to lean toward life after death, ghosts, etc.

yep human sure is opening up.

I really have to say it, i really can't take myself. i can't get the movie out of my mind, i keep going back to the appearances of the avatar. i was very struck at the marking they mark on themselves, their hairs, the braided hairs at the fighting scenes. i can't get this movie out of my head. It's not depression, it's not ego, it's not desire. What is it, what about their appearances that struck me. I just can't get it. i'm stuck. Confused

I have seen it. I could connect with it so much because I can feel energy like the Navi in the movie. I was also sad at the part where their home was destroyed. But it was a beautiful and moving movie.

I havnt seen it yet-  but I really want to !  My mother and father– who are in their 70's absolutely loved it!!!

They saw it in the theater with the 3D glasses.     The director is such a perfectionist– and he felt noone in today's movie industrie could make 3 D movies the way he feels they shlould be made, so he actually made a special effort to make the 3D effects 100% perfect.    No 3D movie compares.

As for the plot and the theme of the movie- it sounds heart-grabbing and beautiful!           Bill Little Eagle just mentioned in one of his posts here–  (and it remains with me)  how  this planet could be just like Paradise– just like the Rainforests with every beautiful color imaginable–   ever different colored bird and flower-    That's the way God made Eden- and the way the Earth can be now — if only we humans would let it.    The choice is ours!!

Ta.,   thankfully-  I do personally believe that while Mother Earth is being devestated by mankind right now– that there will come a time when the Creator says , "ENOUGH!"   and that is the REAL change that is going to come to pass!    There will be such a wonderful restoration all over the Earth– after the earth goes through her cleansings, and the World systems end.       My pastor mentioned that many of those humans who were responsible for creating the devestations on this beautiful Green Earth,  will be so convicted in their hearts, that they will participate in the clean -up with all of their hearts :-)

I personally beliieve that the faerykind , elves, gnomes,  pixies, etc,.   and ANgels,  and humans- and probably many Beings in other galaxies who love the Creator- will all take part.       Not only will the Earth be restored from ruins, but so will the animal Kingdom :-)

luv

Cloverdew, how true– more than we ever know!!

I'll never forget hearing that faery woman singing to me just what you said –   not too long after my first faery encounter.   I was trying to save the little maple saplings, and instead of pulling up weeds, I transplanted them instead,  and started picking up garbage too and helping turtles across the road from traffic, etc.

Then one morning shortly after,  a woman's voice sung these words to me right before I woke up for work:

"You are helping the flower to seed;   ALL THINGS ARE PRECIOUS"

p.s. you guys… did any of the Navi's survive?  Did they get to rebuild?     that part would really depress me, yet things like that are truly happening on this Earth from the ignorant.

Yes, they did. Many die but better to come.

Yeah people are killing our own mother and our sibling of blood and flesh i guess. although i don't quite get the relationship.
