I know Hamaskala is planing on making a list of fae themed books. I would suggest looking on the internet just Google it! If you find anything let me know because I would like to find something like that too.

You could go on Amazon and check out all the faery books. Read the reviews and stuff.

i have recently found healing with the fairies by doreen virtue. im kind of iffy on that but if you're up for downloading some books check out scribd.com the website has a lot of varieties and very very resourceful. pay attention to the page number though. i downloaded a book called faery magick by simone knight. its 224 pages long. you should check it out. but thank you faecat for the suggestion ill be sure to check daily to see if anything was posted about that. i have googled it but i cant find real information. i keep finding fiction and thats not what im looking for. amazon sounds like a good idea….thank you! and i also want to try andd get fairies 101 also by doreen virtue.

Hi,

I think that probably the best way to develop the ability to see or communicate with fairies might be a more general book on developing your psychic abilities.

The best reviewed one I found was The Psychic Pathway. Below is the link to the Amazon.com page

http://www.amazon.com/Psychic-…..038;sr=1-3

I haven't read it and know nothing about it though.

My summer reading list is literature about fairies to read rather than about communicating with or seeing fairies.

In future I will probably do an article or two on that but that will be some time down the road. There is, however no guaranteed way of developing the ability to see fairies.

I don't see or hear them and I'm not worried about it. It will either happen someday or it won't. I still feel their friendship and love them. No harm in trying though, I encourage that.

Meditation and yoga classes help too, yoga prepares you for meditation so that you can be really good at it and get the most from it.

Good luck with your endeavors my friends.

Hugs!

I bought Doreen virtues Healing with the fairies book last week! I'm so happy but I was really nervouse when I bought it because I had to buy it without my mom knowing. If I showed it to her she would have said no and we would have fought. *sigh* My mom will never understand this and I feel sorry about that.

Greetings and Fairy Joy to you.  A wonderful book chock filled with fairy guidance is "A Complete Guide To Faeries & Magical Beings, by Cassandra Easton.  Check out your local library to see if you like it before you purchase.  Amazon is always a good choice to get books….free shipping on $25 or more order.  I have tons of other suggestions, but this should be a good start.

Hi Chichi,

Since you asked, I decided to change up my reading list and include some selections on connecting with, communicating with, or seeing fairies. There are two in the list I published today and there will be more in the one on Friday.

Here's the link for today's article:

I have W.B. Yeats book on Irish faery and folk lore. You should have an interview with Brian Froud on skype or something! That would be a great article!

Hi Faecat,

Yeah I would interview Brian Froud except that a friend of mine won the Froud award and the Frouds did not do right by her. I'm not sure about details as she never says anything bad about anyone so it is a huge deal that she did not want me to mention that she won the award in my article about her. She said that she and her fairies were very disappointed in the Frouds. So, out of loyalty to her I don't feel comfortable interviewing him.

It makes it tough because he is very important as regards fairies but I can't bring myself to hurt my wonderful, kind friend.

Why, what did the Frouds do?

She would not say. It must have been bad though because, as I said, she NEVER says ANYTHING negative about anyone.

For her to tell me as much as she did is a huge deal. She is a kind and honest person who never hurts people. I have been friends with her for a few years and I trust her.

I hope no one here is a personal friend of the Frouds because I don't want to hurt anyone. I just wanted to explain why I will not interview them and avoid writing about them. His work is featured in one of the books on my reading list from yesterday and I felt bad enough about that.

I'm sorry I don't have more info to give you. I'm not saying this to gossip or to put the Frouds down, I am just explaining my reasoning for not featuring them.

I realize that they have lots of fans and that's great. They are famous and talented. I don't have ill will for them and I am not telling people not to like them. I just can not in good conscience feature them because of my friend. I do not want to hurt her.

I hope Froud fans can understand this and know that I am not bashing them. If people enjoy them and their work that does not bother me. I like their work too.

Wow, I can't imagine what they must have done to hurt her like that. Did she interview them or did they refuse?
