No, she is a very talented fairy artist who has seen and communicated with fae all her life and won the Froud award. It was not an interview situation. She came to know them because she won their award.

I don't know the Frouds, they may be lovely people. I like their work too. I don't want it to seem like I dislike them or think that they are bad people.

No one is perfect, we all make mistakes, we all fail. And because we are not perfect others might get hurt by our behaviors or actions when we don't intend for that to happen.

I simply do not feel comfortable featuring the Frouds in my column because I don't want to be disloyal to my friend and I don't want her to be hurt. It would hurt her to go look at my column and see me featuring people who had hurt her.

It does not mean that I don't like them, it is just out of sensitivity to my friend.

They may be very nice, kind people.

They have done wonderful work that I enjoy and respect. I would love love love to interview them but I can't hurt my friend.

I found some books that may be interesting they are all non fiction and I found them at my local library catalog.

Fairies by Burn (didn't get full name)

A field guide to demons fairies etc. by Carol Mack

Strange and secret peoples by carole Silver

The Old Gods by Patrick Logan

The Fairy Reel (all I could get was the label which ironiclly was FAE!)

And Cassandra eason who has a lot of books from fairies to crystal work!

Sorry that it's not very helpful but it was a small list!

Hi Faecat!

Yes, my friend is a professional artist, you may have seen her work in the articles I wrote about her. Here is the link to the first one:

http://www.examiner.com/fairie…..ini-part-1

To find the links to her websites just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and they are in the last sentence of the article. She is an amazing lady. She communicates with fae and with animals.

She lives in a different state than I do but she used to communicate with my little dog who passed last year. She had a lot of health problems and Liza used to help her a lot.

Liza has had wild birds land on her hand and eat from her hand. And she is just the most wonderful, kind person. And she is a person of integrity. She is the most precious and special soul. I'm so lucky to have her friendship.

As far as my column, I just posted the final installment of my summer reading list. It's really a great selection of books.

I am working on something that may or may not come to fruition for an interview but I don't want to say because it might not work out.

I have something else that I have been working on for a couple of weeks but I want it to be a surprise, I think it will be fun.

Thank you so much for supporting my column, it really is a labor of love and means so much to me. I enjoy it so much that I want to make this my career. I am working on gaining enough knowledge so that I can eventually write a book.

Hugs, I hope all is well with you my friend.

Namaste
