I had just felt a shockwave from a 5.9 earthquake that centered around Washington D.C. and was felt almost all across the eastern side. I living in New York felt it while I was at a beach. I was wondering if the members of RF also on the eastern United States were alright and what happened for you guys?

I felt it too! It was around 1:50 pm and the house started shaking a little… I've been through earthquakes before (ones much, much worse than this) so I immediately knew what was going on. Scary stuff!
