Hey, everyone! This is just a last-minute reminder that Fae Day is tomorrow, for all of RF's US members!
Lisa A. Grey Eyes, a wonderful moderator here and a well-respected member of the RF community, has posted several celebration ideas, among other things.
For us, it is going to start in 17 minutes – as it will be 12:00 pm soon :–)
Happy Birthday Mr. E!!!!!
p.s.. Natalie, can you let Mr. E know we wish him a beautiful Birthday!!!
you can tell him that this evening near the pond I visit, I saw a turtle laying eggs along the side of the road– she actually pushed away some of the gravel on the road aside, and was laying eggs there! I said a little prayer for her and brought down some lettuce leaves and pieces of watermelon. She looked at me in her little shell like , "what the heck is this wierd human doing"…lol!! I'll have to keep an eye on that area so that any hatching babies will be safe. The pond is right near the roadside, so I figure they will naturally waddle down to the pond once they hatch :-)
"It is more important that you love than that you see!"
Happy Birthday Mr. E! I hope you have an awesome celebration.
I'll see what I can do for fae day, maybe someone will stop in and say hello ^-^
I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you; The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do.
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.
Happy Fae Day! And happy birthday Mr. E! I hope it's a very, very merry one! お誕生日おめでとうございます、Eさま!

Happy Fae Day! I will definitely make sure Mr E sees these posts and I know he will be very, very touched by all of this.
As I wrote on the other Fae Day post, Susan, Mr E and I were hoping to do something special for his birthday and Fae Day but Susan became ill on Thursday and was hospitalized for a few days so we have been quite preoccupied with all of that and really couldn't move forward on anything else. The great news is that they couldn't find anything seriously wrong with her so she should be feeling better soon.
Elves are great at celebrating just about anything and I have no doubt that Mr E will be spending the evening with his friends and brother doing the ususal–dancing, singing, drinking a bit of ale and basically just having good time! Susan and I will celebrate with him this weekend when she is feeling better and he has asked if we would make him a chocolate cake–his absolute favorite. He's very happy with this idea because this way, he gets to celebrate his birthday twice.
