Love the Fae and Live in the Now

Hey guys, I know that I've been talking a lot about astral travel and the shift/ascension lately, and I see that some people are concerned with that, but to be perfectly honest all of that stuff doesn't resonate with me anymore and it made me feel kind weird and anxious, and about a week and a half ago I realized that all of my effort being put into astral projection and all of that had come at the cost of my older beliefs and practices. This site, the faeries and nature are what have truly made me fulfilled unlike anything ever before.

Now, if the whole ascension stuff resonates and works for you then that's absolutely perfect for you, but to all of you who are on the fence about these aliens coming at the end of the year and spirit families, I'm just here to say from experience that if it doesn't feel right then don't try to make it feel right, just go back to doing what worked for you before. Now I still believe that the veil is going to lift soon, but not as soon as this year and I believe that mostly (if only) faeries and other mythical beings will reveal themselves.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that none of us should spend our time looking forward to something that doesn't have any set date or time. We can all be excited about the shift, but never forget to live your life now and trying to connect with nature and the fae and do whatever spiritually makes you happy. This is very different from the posts that I usually do, but I just wanted everyone to know what was on my mind.

I just remembered how much I love everyone on this site by the way. It's a true-blue community and i consider all of you (even the people I haven't met or spoken to) to be my sincere friends.

This is really enlightening and I feel happy for you. I also felt that way, the whole ascension thing not resonating with me (although that's a really long time from now) All I wanna focus on is just what we all love to do, even stuff like music or art (you gotta love'em) and probably search more different spiritual paradigms instead of having to worry about what happens in 2012.

Thank you Cojo! :) I was thinking over a similar issue recently, and reading this let me know I am on the right track. Personally, I do believe in ascension and it is something I work toward, but I've decided that instead of making it my focus, to let it be a side effect of the way I live my life in the here and now.

I've had little contact, if any, with fae, but I know what you mean about Nature. Nothing feels better to me than knowing the Earth is my Mother and she's always with me.,

I also feel a bit of a personal pull between Eastern and Western religious and spiritual belief. I feel obligated to acknowledge the West, because I'm born and raised American, but my heart has always been adrift toward different places. I follow Eastern spiritual beliefs more than anything, but I love Western Occultism. So I just want people to know it's alright to be eclectic, never deny your heart. :) It's more important that you live happily than live "correctly."

I figure that the veil lifting and the shift and all that will be gradual enough that people will be conditioned into it. I was talking to some people the other day about the big "Alien Boom" in TV and movies. It's always been there, this wonder about other life, but it seems so prominent recently with that Ancient Aliens series on the History Channel and the children's shows/movies, and I do think it could be conditioning. Someone remarked that people have a tendency to accept things if they discover it has been with them all along, rather than trying to introduce a new idea, so who knows. Maybe there will be a return to assessing the validity of fae and magick and all that stuff.

Thank you again Cojo :D I love you too. Namaste.

I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you; The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do.
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.

Great sentiments, Cojo! I'm happy that you've found a place of happiness. :) And I totally agree that it's best to stay focused in the here and now and to appreciate what we've got at the moment. Otherwise we run into the same problem that the subjects of the Red Queen had in the book "Alice in Wonderland" – "Jam yesterday and jam tomorrow, but never jam today."

As for Ascension and the Veil, I'm sincerely hoping that it really is going to be a slow process so that people will have a chance to acclimate. Has anyone ever noticed that things that happen suddenly almost always turn out very badly in the immediate aftermath because no one's prepared for it? Ie natural disasters, the French Revolution, etc. Like Kikuyo I've wondered whether there isn't a programme of conditioning going on through the media, allowing people to turn over the idea of sentient nonhumans in their minds and decide how they want to deal. (Actually that's happening regardless of whether it was intentionally introduced or not. Maybe humans are finally naturally reaching a stage where we can deal with this kind of thing as a race. Either way, this is something we're getting a long build-up to, so I carry hope that it can turn out ok as it happens.)

And Kikuyo, I totally agree with you about how important it is to find the path that feels right to you instead of clinging to dogma. Thanks for bringing that up!

You guys rock. :)

feasgar math!

now is definitely a time.. umm nirvikala samadhi resonates with me… off and on.. and i think its entirely a matter of our language and the disparate terms, but the first order of this 'ascension' which implis upness but I think is in truth directionless, boundless expansion.. as in any season change and any chain reaction building over time

first we must see all directions equally, because all paths lead there…

the rest is up to the rather uncertain and exciting muses of art.. inspiration and self expression

our only enemy, the inanimate and funny spirit of boredom, just don't let er get ya…

and hey.. for long, and timelessly our band has been free..

know ye lot of Gwydion, my hero.. well one of em haha, born just a few days ago.. may 22, i believe?

he has played this song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..pIgzQSLMa8

whatever resonates with you or not.. we need a poetry and art section for creativity…
