Guys, I've been receiving more than a few PMs asking me about 2012, and this and that, and the other. And to be perfectly honest, I don't have all the answers. I only have one perspective. All that I can tell you for sure is that something significant will happen. It's straight up science and historical fact that at even intervals of time there is a shift in consciousness. We also know that DNA changes in every life form on the planet every 26 million years or so, and that is also scheduled around 2012. We also know that crop circles (which clearly are not done by humans) talk about the Earth giving birth, and DNA evolving, and have given hints at vibrations being an important part of that year. These are all documented. However nobody knows exactly what this change will bring. Please remember that I am exactly like all of you, I've just done more in-depth research on these subjects. When I put these posts on this site it is not to suggest that this is 100% truth. And often times my views change. The only constant is that fear is what we must a void, and love is what we must seek. Therefore, if you don't agree with everything that I say, don't force yourself to agree. Simply take whatever tiny bits of information resonate with you and move on.
I'm sure you've often heard the phrase "create your own reality". Well, this is why it is important for you to only take what resonates with you and throw away the rest, no matter how much criticism you get from it. However, instead of me typing until my hands fall off, I'll simply let you watch this video which was done by a man who is channeling his future incarnation 300 years in the future (allegedly).
And one last note: While it is important to change your vibrations, do not simply try to be nice to people because you heard that you have to otherwise you will get left behind while everybody else moves into paradise. This will almost guarantee that you may be "left behind". False kindness and compassion does not cut it. If you want to be a jerk, then be a jerk, and be a jerk now. Because being a jerk until you learn BY YOURSELF that being mean is not an attribute that you want to possess is the only way to truly change into a better person. Anyway, remember what the video said, it's all about you're vibration and the reality that you desire. So whatever you most believe in, or the way that you most deeply wish the world was is the way that your world will be eventually. Believe in what gives you comfort and joy. (and for the record, this does mean that the faery will show up if you want them to). It is time to start thinking deeply about how you want your future world to experience life. Think about how you want them to experience the spirit world, the paranormal, the divine, the economy, daily life, and perhaps, even imagine a world with no death or painless death (painless death would be preferable though because overpopulation would be terrible). Remember, if this message does not resonate with you, then forget you ever watched it.
Three cheer for you!!! But then being what you are, is quite troublesome to other when you can be kind but evil too.

Yes, but that's the point. You're supposed to be a jerk to others if that's how you really feel and that is your purpose for some time. By being a jerk, you can not only learn through experience not to be a jerk, but set an example for others that that is not the kind of life that they want to live.
And also, it's not so much about imagining the future. Yes, you can do this, but ultimately it comes down to what you truly desire at your core. What is that fantasy world that makes you feel filled with love and happiness whenever you think about it? It already exists. Everything already exists in some other parallel reality. The reason that one of those realities feels like "home" to you is because you are at the same vibration with that world. You agree with everything in it and you take joy from each and every experience it offers. We are trapped in this vibration with many different people, some of which don't share your individual vibration. Eventually, you'll just have to live where your vibration meshes with the rest of the world. For me it is a nice mix between the faery realm and our modern world. Very relaxed, not too crowded, but still has some urban areas, but is not overly dependent on technology. Life there is all about adventure and exploration and friendship. If anyone has ever played a game called "MapleStory" that world would be the closest thing to what I'm thinking of.
However, I'm getting off topic. My point is that if you choose to adopt this worldview then it really does benefit everyone and does not put us into cages. Also, don't be scared that none of it is real. All of it is real. just as real as this world. So, don't be afraid to believe in what makes you happy, no matter how ridiculous it is, because if all of this is true, then you have to align with that inner happiness so that your vibration matches it, and therefore matches the reality that you most prefer.
YES! Finally there is someone not preaching that you must be this this and this in order to make it into the new world of 5D but rather you choose your own reality. Feels like a lot more freedom than to be bound by some previous medium's way of gaining ascension. I have to start dreaming my future reality when I have the time (by the way, is this new world connected to our conscious wants or subconscious want? I may not be able to think it all in such a short time)
I think another way to look at it is– yes, don't try to act "nice" but if you need help in not being a jerk, ask for Divine assistance in saying "NO" to ourselves.
One of the most impossible things to do is say "NO" to ourselves, but this is the key – and in order to do that, we need help from outside of ourselves — as it is impossible for even the most spiritual person to do this on thier own without some selfish motive behind it.
Meet the Creator half way by obedience — through saying "NO" to yourself when you feel the urge to do something to offend or damage . At the same time, cry "HELP!" to our Creator- and dont' be surprised that you will find this inner empowerment to suddenly WANT to do the right thing– and then do it.
An example is missionary Corrie Ten Boom. She was unjustly incarcerated in a concentration camp during World War II. Her family was tortured and died in that camp. She –by some clerical error– was able to leave the camp eventually, and she became a missionary –trying to spread a message of love and foregiveness wherever she went to heal the hate that World War II brought on.
One day while she was giving a talk on forgiveness, –after her talk, a man came up to her and called out her name–and extended his hand to her. She recognized this man as one of the most cruelest prison guards in Auschwitz concentration camp. This man bashed her sister over the head with a shovel.
Something happened to this man and he had an inner change in his heart– and he rejected his old way of thinking.
Corrie still could not forgive him, and while he had his arm extended to shake her hand, she needed Divine help to WANT to shake his hand instead of punching hm in the face.
She cried out in her mind, "God, help– I dont have it within me!!"
She made the first step and extended her hand to the man– and then God met her half way and shot down this electric-like energy through her entire arm –down to through her hands and the hate hidden in her heart for him dissolved immediately. She shook his hand out of love –but it was not HER love. She didnt own any love of her own. She met the Creator half way–said "No" to herself, and then the Creator was able to infuse DIvine love and channel it through her to this man.
It was a healing experience for her :-)–and helped her continue in her ascension.

yeah, i read that story. i got a sad and happy feeling from it. maybe a litlle anger. but in the end it was a good book. oh and also if you need questions anwsered you can send some to me to relieve the task on cojo for a while. all through he is right about opinions if you ask i can give you my opinion. we are all equal here. everyone should have a say in stuff(but its my opinion and your choice to voice in stuff). and in 5d it won't be one ruler there there probably will be no rulers. but this is yet my opinion. but i may only give you my opinion you get the choice to accept it or not and move on. if you ever watch the matrix movies, one of the people said " i can only show you the door neo. its your choice to walk through." what he means is that some people can show you a door(my opinion yet again) but its your choice if you walk through or not. it means that when people start to ascend some might choose to not go through that door. just like the government chooses to use fear to run the place. the government thinks that just cause a mayan calendar ends on 2012 its the end of the world. well in a sense it is. because people will leave this world go to the 5d world and this 3d world will be gone. you could save its like the bible, i believe its the book of revelaations. what it says is that the old earth and heavens will be tossed aside and a new heaven and earth will be created. and i know that its saying what the mayan calendar, time, and everything related to this subject that something will happen and many will go to the 5d world but many will stay here after the link closes and then they have to wait untill the next time. now i have shown every one here a door but only you can choose if you walk through. its only an opinion but its your choice to let it make a differnce in you life. it does not have to but it can if you want.

I think it's going to be hard to peg on one year. Time is a function of our dimension not the otherworld. You read in stories about people going over there then coming back after what they thought was a party and it's 100 or more years later. The only consistant thing is that time does not go backwards in either place at least by the accounts I've read. I find that even angels have a very poor sense of how time passes here. What seems a short time to them may be 500 years or more to a human.
It may be possible for certain individuals to have some kind of mastery over this perhaps thats where the info in coming from? There is a Sidhe King in Ireland who has a ummm hobby that appears to requires an unusual degree of skill in this area is the example I am thinking of. This would possibly enable him and others who have the ability to control the time varience to be able to peg likely events down to a particular year. I agree with Lisa. We are going to have choices. Even now we have more choices than most realize. Take each piece as it comes. Yes there are frightening things about this but we also have good friends to help.
Lisa the passage you referred to is in Revelations I believe the 20th or 21st chapter. I'm too lazy to look it up such a sloth I am today. The account in Revelation parallels the story of Exodus almost identically and I think if you use that as a basis for understanding the prophetic beliefs of this event the two books should be studied side by side.
This account is nearly universal. If you look at Shamanistic beliefs as well as major religions you see a consistant prophecy that the otherworld and this world were at one time one place and that they will be again. In shamanism certain people with special abilities were trained to access the world and provide an intermediary between the inhabitants of the otherworld and their communities. This became necessary when the passage between worlds became difficult and dangerous to do physically. The separation is also universally blamed on either some kind of ritual mistake, war or sin, in otherwords a catastrophe of some kind. The nature of the rejoining is also considered to be catastrophic in nature and nearly the same type of catastrophe as the event of the separation.
