I was looking on youtube at a video that had nothing to do with the fae or anything. So I thought. I was actually looking up something about dolls (Yes, yes, i'm almost 15 and I collect dolls still, don't judge me :D) and on this one youtube channel I clicked on a random video, and this person said that she went to a psychic just for fun, I don't think she really belived in this stuff, but what made me upset was a comment left by someone:
Sweetie you should never go to things like this. Witchcraft is seeking help or guidance from any spiritual source other than God. I know you said it was a psychic and that it was just for fun but that is opening a door to the devil .All forms of horoscopes, Tarot cards, psychics, palm readings, fortune telling, crystal balls, Ouija boards, astrology, , and sorcery are of the Devil. Sweetie You are a sweet girl and I hate to see you open a door to this kind of stuff.
This made me upset because, I belive in God and I belive in things like tarot readings, astrology etc. etc.
This person was just giving her opinion, and I get that, so I didn't say anything to the person who left the comment because people are allowed to have their opinions, but it really did make me upset.
What does everyone else think? Does this make you upset? I mean, we all belive in the Fae, and such things on here, so does this offend you when people act like this? Or am I overreacting?
I just don't like it when people judge other people without doing their research first.

This topic really upsets me, too. I hate people like that. Not people who believe in God, but people who go all web-evangelist on you.
It seems to me that Christians, in essence, really have TWO gods. I feel like they (some of them) sometimes give the devil almost as much power in their minds as they do God. They fear the devil as if he WERE some sort of deity with that much power over them. (I was raised Catholic, so please don't say I don't understand the religion. Because I do.) And I feel like that's the mark of unclean hands, to be honest. If you know you've done something bad, you fear punishment (the cops, the devil, etc.)
Basically what I'm saying is, if you don't like tarot cards or Ouija boards, don't use them. If you don't believe in the Goddess, don't worship her. If you don't want to reach Enlightenment, don't meditate. Easy. But don't tell others what to do and what not to do as far as religion goes. They have parents for that, and if they don't like the religion they were raised in, they have a brainstem and can make decisions for themselves. I don't see why people care so much what other people do. Live and let live. It's not as complicated as people like to make it.
I also really hate how the commenter calls the girl "sweetie". I despise that so much. When someone calls somebody else "sweetie" it'd BETTER be a child or a loved one, or else it's just condescending. Like, the girl isn't an idiot who needs correcting, y'know?

Ever hear of the Westboro church?They are the extremist of all extremists.. I remember on a show, they said " I love gay people enough to tell them they will die in hell if they do not change their sexual orientation"…They are horrible people too.They make their kids do remakes of songs like "God hates you"..etc and are constantly having stuff thrown at them and their church has even been bombed. They are truly crazy.
To be honest, I'm fine with it..It's people like the Westboro church that bother me..Some people do tend to go a bit too far with thinking that psychics are evil..etc though

You know thats true some (not all) christians and even people of other religons sometimes do give the devil as much power as God…
Oh and the girl who this person was talking to was a teen (with two or so years left of high school) so I think thats why the commenter called her 'sweetie', I think the commenter was trying to be nice, and don't get me me wrong, the commenter, with what I have seen in there videos, is a very kind-hearted person, but it was like the commenter was trying to shove a religon down this girls throat. And plus the commenter scared a few people too, some asked if they were now going to go to Hell.

What annoys me the most is that in the Bible, there are verses and passeges about 'magic' and such things, but people who are religos and read the Bible almost all the time, don't see it that way, they only have one veiw point and don't see what some verses and passeges are really trying to tell people, and then a lot go as far to say that people who practice witchcraft are evil and are letting the devil into their lives.

I'm sure they feel the same when people say that the bible is a fairy tale. The argument can go long and deep and be very hurt full. I've been a pagan to a born again christian and back to faery seeker magic practitioner. If you understand why people say the things they do, you realize its not personal, there spiritual intelligence is guiding them to do good in the way they know how. So its like oh your trying to protect me from the devil, thanks but I'm late for my tarot reading 'god bless'.
