This has to do with ghosts. My brother used a oijia board from target. He said he got a name on it and the string to the light waved when he used it. We do have ghosts i our house so should i feel threatened? or is there anyone to let them no to leave me alone with out getting them mad?
hmm first of all when you use Oijia boards you have to be specific and you have to know how to protect yourself, and if your not specific and dont protect yourself your basically inviting anything in your house. The Oijia acts as portals to other worlds if you aint pasific what you want to vommunitcate with good or evil anything can just come through. well all i can say is this they seem ok none threatening. but if u feel uncomfortable with it burn sage around house to flush it out if not available sprinkle salt in rroom or around house u can all also burn incensed

There are many people I know who use ouija/oracle boards without any problems.
I personally believe there are better ways of channelling and consider a board a dangerous way of channelling to someone who has not studied spirit communication.
I've read and helped many who have used a board and without meaning to have opened a doorway to a lower-level entity who can give an unpleasant message from the start – or even worse – play a game of pretending to be a spirit guide – or even an arch angel.
Whilst the choice is yours whether you use the board again, I would recommend studying about raising your vibrations and protecting yourself in your own preferred way, e.g. white light.
Re. your wondering of is there a negative presence in your home. It doesn't sound like it omo, so don't waste your time worrying about it. And if in the future you use the board again and feel uncomfortable in anyway – or the message seems 'odd' or you're told things that can't be shared with all, e.g. 'a secret' I would stop the communication immediately.
If you do ever feel a negative presence, just be very firm and strong and have no fear whatsoever and ask them to leave. If you study the subject, then fear should have no place.
Chicamaricino (eyesight bad LOL if I spelt that wrong – sorry!) has offered some physcial things that you can do like burning sage, using sea salt – excellent advice.
Why these boards are sold as toys I'll never know! I saw a pink ouija board for girls once for sale – from 8-years-old – from Hasbro and could not believe how irresponsible they are. It had '72 fun questions'.
Through mediation, deep breathing in your lower abdomen, you can shut off the mind-chatter and make contact with your spirit guides. And learn to discern what are your own thoughts and which 'thoughts' are not your own.

sounds like you already have a low level spirit in there. If he/she start causing problems there is another solution other than the usual cleansing herbs. I would contact a higher spirit either using a different board ( the board you used is now bound to that spirit.) or other means. Minor diety or Archangels are the best for this sort of problem. I know a few other angels that have a talant for exorcism if thats required. Do all you can to stregnthen that spirit's presence in your house things like name plates, sigils pictures or sculpture as well as things associated with that spirit. For example Michael the archangel, is considered to be the commander of the heavenly forces a General. He is also considered to be the angel of mercury in some systems and the angel of the sun in others. He is associated with the element of fire, and he is a type of angel called a Seraph. His favorite incense is Frankinsense. Alters with symbols assocated with michael and perhaps burning a red candle ( color is red) and asking for his aid in exorcising the low level spirit should be helpful. Basically the big dog chases the little one out. That way the vacume is filled with someone more powerful and higher in the spirit hiarchy the likilhood of recurrance is lessened significantly.
Ok, from what I've heard, your not supposed to use ouija boards in your house, as it invites spirits into your house, and it is very hard to get rid of them. If your going to use a spirit board, you are supposed to do it outside in a big open place where the spirits cant latch on. Now you could try speaking aloud, telling the spirit it is not welcome and you would appreciate for it to leave. A year or so ago I and a couple of my friends used a ouija board in her house, I didnt know you werent supposed to back then. A few times my friend had woken up with her blankets tied around her neck, and she wanted to see if the spirit board could tell us anything about that. This happened BEFORE we used the board, but the point is I told her she should stop using it in her house, but she still does, and doesnt take it seriously. Now I cant say for sure it releases spirits, I dont even know if I believe in them, but Im just saying in the future perhaps use it outside!

Whether or not a oiji board is safe to use in a particular place depends on the type of spirit that your trying to call up. Not all spirits are tied to location. Some like the sidhe tend to have location preference but they actually tend to stay with family, including human descendents. That's how they ended up in Cape Breton where I live; they came with their clan descendents, and why a scotsman I believe he was from the Hebrides, who was trying to break up with a sidhe girlfriend who didn't want to give him up when he moved here she came right along with too.
Some spirits attach to people, spirits with telekenetic abilities are either very close to this plane or very powerful.
possibly the best solution to the problem would be a meduim who can either physically come in and assess the situation and determine the type of spirits there or call a stronger benevolent spirit to see if they can push out either the negative energy or spirit that's causing the issue.If you use a oiji board you need to call specific spirits using they're signature symbol or sigil the area should be cleansed before starting to attempt to eliminate any unwanted intruders. If you have a spirit who has established a territory that is causing a problem its a good idea to leave the territory but it is no guarantee that spirit won't follow you out the door. If you do this and still have problems then a good medium or spirit worker is the best solution. A general exorcism can be tried but it's likely to fail unless the spirit is known. A spirit can be compelled to give it's identity and a forced evocation and exorcism should be done if it is causing harm. This is one of the very few exceptions to my usual aversion to forced evocation.
Your friend needs to take this seriously. Curiousity isn't a bad thing but caution should be used when dealing with potentially harmful low level spirits. They can cause significant problems.
If you feel that you have a low level spirit in your house I also recommend calling on Archangel Michael. He pretty much deals with these things. You can also burn sage and and smudge your household. When my brother felt that there was a not-so-nice spirit haunting him, we put salt in all of the corners of his bedroom and he placed a bundle of sage above his doorway. After that the incidents stopped completely.

I agree with this Michael is good to work with but he can be tough for some people. He's very loving and patient but he's also no nonsense, but all the archangels I've had contact with are like that . They insist on respect. If you have a high level demon to deal with then you need to work with Michael. I was thinking more along the lines of Gabriel for this one because you don't know what your dealing with. Gabriel's expertise is divination and I think it would be beneficial to have that. For this type of entity I doubt you need the sheer force of power that Michael has you need to know who and why first. This will help prevent further incidents.
If it turns out you need more of the type of power Michael has you can always call on him.
Sage will scare off elemental types, but for more powerful troublemakers it's only a temporary fix and has to be done frequently. An alternative also would be to actually grow the plant in the house. It likes sandy soil and lots of sun. Another possibility would be to make an archangel alter and grow the sage on the alter allowing the angels to transmit some of their power to the plant and then drying and using the leaves for smudge. Also there may be other plants that are more suitible for this sort of work. It's usually something that grows locally. Sage doesn't grow here readily. It's too cool and wet for the plant and it rots. However, Ceder grows like crazy here. I have a whole row of ceder trees lining my driveway. Juniper grows everywhere thats another good one. Tobacco is one as well that is used here. The mix used at the local sweat lodge I attended was ceder, sage, and tobacco. The sage is grown where it is sheltered from the wet.
It's an interesting thing about tobacco. The plant is considered to be one of the most sacred yet now it's grown and used as a drug, used that way it makes people sick…. maybe because of the lack of respect for what was once sacred?
Ah yeah I suppose Michael is best suited for stronger entities. Actually, I think simply asking your Guardian Angel/Spirit Guide to help get rid of a spirit if it's of a lower vibration would work fine. Generally your guardian is fairly protective and has the power to do something like that. I don't think whatever spirit she may potentially have is a demon or stronger than the average low level human ghost as they are more likely to come through in an unprotected ouija board session. But if a guardian can't deal with it then Gabriel is probably more suitable than Michael.
Cedar does have protective qualities so I also recommend that. Many herbs and plants have protective qualities right? Even cinnamon. If you burn it as an incense. A loose incense with cinnamon, cloves (both very common pantry herbs), and cedar would probably be fairly potent along with asking a guardian for help. But then.. aah she'd need charcoal to burn it on..
