I just found this and I thought it was cute, its on a site about raving, but i think it can apply to many ways…

signs and symptoms of inner peace:

watch for signs of peace, the hearts of a great many have already been exposed to it and it seems likely that we could find out society experiencing it in epidemic proportions, which then of course, could pose a serious threat to what has up to now seemed a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world

Tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fears based on past experiences

an unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment

loss of interest in judging other people

loss of interest in judging self

loss of interest in interpreting actios of others

loss of interest in conflict

loss of interest loss of ability to worry *this is a very serious symptom

frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

contented feeling of connectedness with others and nature

frequent attacks of smiling through the eyes, from the heart

increasing tendancy to let things happen rather than make them happen

increase in susceptibility to love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

WARNING!

If you have all or even most of the above symptoms, please be advised that your condition of PEACE may be so far advanced as being incurable!

If you are exposed to anyone exhibiting several of these symptoms, remain exposed only at your own risk. this condition of PEACE is probably at it's most infectious stage.

This song by John Fahey always gave me inner peace, as a soul, as a guitar player.. I really enjoy it, today I was reminded of this, I went for a walk into a little wood that I haven't been much through, on the ground there I found a small guitar with no strongs, smaller than even my hand, I picked it up, and I knew it was a gift from the fairies, and from Hineraukatauri, just as I picked it up I saw one in whitish yellow, flying away through the leaves, I 'played' it and I heard the most beautiful music, I knew the spot was special, and walked over to a holly tree, which had grown near and oak sat under its branches and felt pervaded by the eternal spirit, pure energy, light, poetry.. I knew that that tree was Adawapayo, and I felt the spirits and everything raising up into wanti, and raining down too, the bridge really is open, the healing and energy is flowing so much easier, as its apparent, everything is music, I've been playing music to heal the world here for a long time, thats what me and Flo do, and Brigid called us this morning, and all the summer, called to Wanti, and to heaven too, and to the sylvan worlds all of it is the same it the core, the same eternal truth, peace.. we trade, and all work together the worlds are bridged
