Okay well I might not have been working with dragons for
very long but I think I need to put a few things across just for their sake. I’m
going to try and write out information that I’ve learned from reading books on
them so here goes nothing…
Now before I begin please remember this is coming from what
I have learned. I have had dealings with dragons before but that was when I was
a child and even then I can barely remember everything. Also I won’t be giving names. I’m not going to
be responsible for upsetting the heads; if you want to learn more I will put a recommended
reading list for you at the end of this.
Now to the Dragons themselves!
Light Dragons and Darkness Dragons.
These dragons almost always stay at the Center of All. They
help in keeping the balance between light and dark, black and white. The light
dragons are from what I’ve read. Always either pure white or pearlescent shades
with hints of gold, the dark dragons are shades of black with hints of silver.
Dragons of Chaos and Destruction
Okay I know the name sounds like they’re baddies but they’re
really not! I swear! They help with not only destruction but creation as well. When
you think about it, it makes sense. You cannot create unless you destroy. If
you want to build a house don’t you have to destroy trees and plow a field in
order to create your home? See? You destroyed but you also created something.
It’s the same concept for them; their colors are dark going from black to dark
shades of greens, blues, reds, and purples.
Earth Dragons
As the name entails they work with the element of earth.
Their colors range from dark to light earthy browns to dark and light shades of
greens. They normally are fine with Fire Dragons but will get upset if they go
and burn down a forest in their area.
Air Dragons
Working with Air these dragons tend to delight in breezes
both weak and strong, sub categories include Strom dragon and weather dragons.
Their scales are said to shimmer like…well fairy wings. Lol
Fire Dragon
This is where we could say we get Salamander Elementals
from. They work with fire and frequently cause Earth dragons distress (think
about that folks if you were an Earth dragon and this Fire dragon comes and
burns down a good section of the forest you’d be mad too!) though through no
fault of their own. Sub categories include Desert Dragons, and volcano dragons.
Water Dragons
Most commonly known as Sea serpents these dragons live in
rivers, lakes, seas and oceans. Their scales are different shades of blue and
aqua green. You might even think about this for a second, Nessie could very
well be a Water Dragon playing around with the locals. They’d never find them
cause they can’t see them unless they want to be seen.
Guardian Dragons
Guardian Dragons come from all of the above classes. They
are going through something like schooling. Since Dragons age slowly it can
last for upwards of 500 years so think about it, pretty neat learning don’tcha
think? If you befriend one of these dragons expect something similar to a body
guard but don’t befriend them just for that reason! If you do then expect them
to leave and never come back! You won’t even get a second chance! But if you genuinely
want to be friends with them they will stand by you no matter what they also
help in Magick adding energy and consuming what is left behind.
The bad ones…
As the name suggests these are the baddies. They are normally very angry and negetive creatures who would rather attack than talk. They come from the above (excpet Guardians) and are extremely violent never approach these dragons EVER!
Okay well I gave a short summary of Dragons. Don’t think
that this is all that there is I’m no expert on them and I don’t plan to be. If
you want to learn more look at the books below (I might edit this when I come
across more helpful books).
