I find it entertaining that you humans are so interested in the future. This 2012, higher beings, and stuff.
So Riddle me this…. (DOOD! ALWEYS WANTID TA SAY THA~!!)
Why is it that you would be interested in this so far away stuff?
Yeah, everyone needs something to believe in. But do humans think about their lives in the "now"?
Ashy, Aislinn, you are more then welcome to respond to. I incourage all of yeh.

Nevermore, you stopped concentrating for a moment… XD
I think that humans can appreciate what they don't have so its hard to not be interested. I think that goes for the interest in fae and supernatural. As for 2012, it probably depends from person to person. Some people may be scared of the idea of an "end of the world" and some people believe in the return of magic to the human world. I think it will vary from person to person and what they believe in. I think the interest in the unknown is a facinating thing, and we all just want to know. Its a situation that is out of our control.
Did you actually WATCH Batman with us? Your'e starting to sound like Valor with his movie quotes. lol

Why? Why I don't know. I have this belief, that if we know a little of what's gonna happen, maybe we can change the future because it's not here yet, just maybe.
You know human tend to have this planning thing. Like be organize and plan things ahead. That's how you get successful in business and getting things done.
You know, you ask something very interesting, there's something i want to say, but i can't word it.

Word it from your heart.
Planning….so everything is political to you? Why would you want to change the future? If it is meant to be, why change it? Changing fate instilled by the Universe can disrupt the course of magic. It can be dangerous. That is what my people believe in.

I don't see it that way. As i came to understood it, the future is always changing. A prediction of the future, is a measure of the current energy going around. I still believe we can still change the future, with our choice of actions. But sometimes knowing the future, push the people into doing what the future shows them. I read that a lot in books.
Even in school, we were introduce into getting planner and plan your day. Today, the day tomorrow and so forth. Even in math class were taught how to caculate increase and decrease amount in business.
Maybe since were not bother by magic, we didn't see the danger in changing the future.

I dont understand what you said. But okay.
Maybe it is the ignorance of the human race due to magical gravity force that makes human unaware…

The future is just curiosity
And, we live for the tomorrow. So, there's nothing wrong with wondering what's in store. The mind just wanders… lol
it's fun to speculate, come up with theories, ideas…We're just climbing up the latter…
If something is meant to be, then wouldn't it happen anyways? Because… it's simply meant to be.
If you believe in fate.
But, that could be a never-ending talk… so it's kinda useless, about that. Just like debating religion.
We all have our theories and ideas. It's just an opinion.
And about the tomorrow, it's just curiosity and wonder
Just like some people wonder what color your underwear is, if they're there…

For some people knowing what will happen in the future is a good thing. Just imagine if all the humans right now kept living the way they do now forever. Waste would build up and no one would really look ahead and see what they are doing. We know .that over time earth isn't going to last but we are speeding up her death by poluing the air. If we didn't looks ahead there then we would just continue to go our way.
Another way to look at it is humans are so different than any other creature on earth at this very moment. We take years to develope and durring that time we want to learn everything. Learning is just having enough curiosity to want to know. The future is unpredictable but if you can try to be one step ahead of now you know where you are heading.
Sorry if this makes no sense. I can't see what I'm typing : )

My goodness, this has all been very interesting! So many fascinating posts lately, I wish I'd arrived at the party sooner!
It's a funny thing, you know…studies have been done showing that people are happiest when they're focusing in the Now… but humans so rarely do. I think humans are *taught* not to focus on the Now, for mostly the reasons others have said – fear of the future, and a desire to try and control the outcome…or at least, to control their own part in the future. (I guess like, if you see a car is coming at you, you can step to one side and avoid being hit, style of thing. Or, you know, if you can picture a particular future in your head, you can do things to call that future into being.) Many humans do not feel a strong connection to the Source to give them faith (or even knowledge) of its directions, so they are furiously, desperately trying to work things out for themselves. I think that's part it, and another part is just the drive to explore, to learn…and in short, to grow.
Just as a matter of curiousity, since you mentioned gravity and magic in the same sentence, could you please explain what you meant by that? Curious kitties who studied science want to know! >^.^<

It would be nice to live in the "now", but unfortunately that's not how it works for humans. Our world does not allow us to "relax and not stress". People go to college for years, why? Not because they necessarily want to, or because they like paying for tuition, but because they want a better future. This could be applied to anything: mortgages, bills, life savings, retirement, etc. It's all for the future. If all humans lived in the now, we would all be hippies living in the wild. Not that that's a bad thing (I would actually prefer it to this life), but unfortunately that's not how the world works. So it's in our nature to wonder and worry about the future. We don't want to believe that we're going to be doomed after all we've lived for and done in life. We just want to know that everything is going to be okay.
Hopefully that clarified some things for you.
