(The Earth) A trick I learned for re-charging myself and for aches and pains…and more

*Note* You don't have to be outside for this.

(I tend to do some yoga or stretching first. It helps.)

Then I lay on the floor and rest. I close my eyes, I think about the earth how it holds me and supports me everyday. I take a few slow deep breaths in and out…then in-vision the earth sending healing energy into me as I lay there. I vision it healing, healing everything wrong or bothering me (mind and body). I picture the energy to be green and flowing into me, or connecting to me like vines which connect to my veins. Calming me… Then I tell myself I am connected with the earth, whenever I need her she is here for comfort and healing. I continue to lay there at least 15minutes.

I works for me 90% of the time, you just have to stay focused and not let your mind wounder. You have to believe in it to. ;)

Also doing yoga everyday helps a lot!! I always end my practice laying on the floor. I will go through and tense each of my arms and hands then release. Then I do my legs and feet and release. I even do my face tightening it like I ate something sour, then do a surprised face and stick my tong out. Then you just lay there and reflect. (Yes I have fallen asleep before) I woke up to myself snoring LOL! It really helps calm you, even when you are having a panic attack.

That's a really awesome meditative exercise. I will definitely try it. I expect it to be very useful!

It is really useful.

I find yoga useful also, I remember taking a yoga class and loving how I felt after. Then one day I realized I was having a panic attack in painting class, so I left early and went straight to yoga class. The teacher was already there and everything. So I laid down and my breathing got a lot easier. Then when we started doing yoga I was perfectly fine. It was a life saver!! It was my safe space on campus.

I focus on the glowing energy flowing into me, other then that I try to keep my mind blank. For growing pains in the legs, you should try putting your legs up a wall. It worked for me when I was growing…I use to take asprin because it hurt so bad.
