So, Valor asked Natalie if he could post this thread up about real faeries and many of the human perceptions of faeries that he's been reading here. She said it was okay, and so instead of doing a written thread, he decided to post an audio. It's his first one, so please be nice to him.
I also want everyone to know, I don't channel fae the way that Susan does. From what I know (and Natalie can tell me if I'm way off or not), I believe Susan trances in order to channel Mr. E. I'm not sure if Mr. E has to trance from Fynn to talk to her, but I don't trance to channel. Some of them step into me as though I'm a suit they're borrowing, and Valor just puts his hands on my shoulders and talks through me. He doesn't like to go in "all the way". He thinks that it's rude.
Also: he apologizes a head of time if what he says is seen as rude or offensive, he's very passionate about what he does, and sometimes can get carried away. But he's telling it like it is, and none of it is sugar coated.
On a side note: I LOATHE YOUTUBE. This took me 2 and a half hours to upload.

If Natalie doesn't like the way that he's done it. Let me know!
Thanks everyone!

Very well put, Valor. I always try to tell people that faeries aren't what they think but everyone just keeps believing what they want to believe. Hopefully the audio will help put some sense into some people though! Thanks for taking the time to make this!

True…They are basically like people…some are nice, some are not so nice, and others are inbetween.

Valor would like everyone to know that he is interested in teaching you how to protect yourselves, if you would be interested.

I'd be interested; it's always neat to hear about that kind of stuff :3
I'm also looking forward to actually watching those videos tomorrow; my stupid comp doesn't play youtube because of a lack of adobe flash or something… my father's the admin, and I'm too lazy to get him to put in the password :C

we would appreciate it for Valor to teach us that… my computer is extreemly slow — still on dial-up, and the connection speed is really slow, so youtube videos take forever to load for me.. maybe if possible, could you also post some of the basics from his audio for slow-pokes like me? thanks if you can !

Thank you Valor and Ashy for this post. I think it is important for people to know that not all fae are human-friendly (or friendly at all, actually). I have to add though, that there are fae–many that I am personally acquainted with–that do want to reach out to humans and want to encourage them to be more empowered and better caretakers of the earth. The trick, I suppose is to be able to know which fae you are attracting and how to be safe while doing that. The fae world is not like our world and the rules that many fae live by would be very foreign to us so we must all proceed with some caution.

I thought it was a little humorous when his voice got high pitched. I took it seriously though I just had to laugh

Would you rather jump into the fountain of youth, or grow old with the one you love???

I know that there are some fae that are nicer than others. I mean… the score we have at home are a few of those ones. I guess Valor just gets overly enthusiastic when it comes to protection. He's kinda like a Marine, sure that everything's out to get everyone and cautious of the entire world.

I think that it was properly expressed that you should give respect to something of this kind, but people have to understand that the way a being exists in a place such as the faery is very much different then a way we exist here in 3d. That in this place there is no good or bad and anything goes in a place such as this. But after all if you give respect to them and give respect to nature there is not much harm that can be done. I don't think its right to say you shouldn't want to be friends with a faery but you must know your bounds when it is with dealing with them. I personally think before you connect to any faery or other being you should connect to your higher self and carry the protection from them when dealing with another entity.

I think it was wise of Valor to warn us, because a person needs discernment regarding any Being we encounter. Not all of them are loving. I beleive that like humans, all intelligent Beings- wether they be human, ET Star Beings, Elves, Angels, Pixies, Imps, Faerie, Trolls, etc, etc.,– all have Choices in spiritual growth. Some choose to live selfishly and could care less about others. Some choose to be bitter and nasty, some look beyond themselves and are connected with the Creator and may even be almost angelic in Nature. We are all still given the opportunity to grow and that also goes for those intelligent beings besides humans.
This is the reason that you won't be seeing me running up to any UFO that may hover over my backyard. You can't assume all Beings out there are going to have your best interest at heart- and you may find yourself abused in a horrific situation at your expense and to the delight of that other Being. Always err on the side of caution, but realize that there are also many Beings out there who may be just like you as well.

I wish that everyone would listen to me like this. This is exactly what I'm getting at. I understand that you want to believe that all fae have "good intentions" and if you give us milk and honey, honey-bread, dance naked under the moonlight giving your soul away to the fae, or mark yourself as ours forever that ALL of us will automatically do you no harm and become your friend.
I also understand that this website does encourage people to make contact with faeries, and that's fine, but you need to understand that not all of us are like Mr. E or me, or Nevermore. Nevermore (despite the fact that he's generally a rather jovial kind of guy) is kinda scary on a normal basis. He's NOT actually a nice faerie, he just… likes Aislinn and Ashy.
And even Aislinn and Ashy, who have many of us around, are not completely safe from bad faeries, be those faeries Seelie, Unseelie, Winter Court or Summer Court. There's one that keeps showing his ugly head and won't go away, and channeling a nasty thing can be a terrifying experience.
Not all faeries are good, but we're not all bad either.

I think that Valor's warning was very prudent. In the area in which I live, a lot of children grew up believing in the fae and would leave milk and honey outside as an offering. As I got older, I decided that faeries are not so black and white, so to speak. And Tinkerbell and her pixie friends? That's just totally ridiculous.
I would still like to make contact with faeries at some point. But until then, I'll continue my training with a healer who is teaching me to sheild myself.

*Cough* (It's Lexie from EONS ago) Why, yes I do live in the U.S. Ashy! Lolololol! Well, I grew up going to Waldorf schools, and my family lived on a secluded commune… But we live in California, so I guess it's not all that unusual.

I can try to make more recordings of Valor. It's hard to upload things in Japan because their internet works differently than at home in the states. Is there anything you'd particularly like to hear/know/have him talk about?
