Hello!  I'm Aislinn.  I have been on Real Fairies before, but Natalie was kind enough to allow me, Ashy and our fae to come back and talk about ourselves, as well as all of us working together to help everyone (and ourselves) understand difference in cultures between different kinds of fae.

Mr. E is from a different part of the world than our fae are (mostly from Ireland), and so beliefs and traditions and languages are so much different.  I want to learn more about Mr. E as well as everyone else's fae around here. ^_^ 

I have believed in fae since I started channeling, which was just a little over a year ago.  I believed in supernatural before then, but mostly ghosts and spirits.  My mother was a medicine woman for one of the Cherokee tribes here in Missouri, and she had given me her ability to see spirits and ghosts.  It wasn't until Nevermore appeared that I began to believe in other beings.  But it was hard not to, with the evidence so clearly in my face.  But I can say I don't regret ever having met Nevermore or our other fae around. 

I channel Nevermore mostly, and he is dearly happy to be able to come back as well. When I channel him, he does what I affectionately call "all the way in".  This means I don't see what happens as I channel him, and he has a full control over what I say and do.  He is the only fae or supernatural that I would ever trust to do this.  This is also how Nevermore is able to answer questions and communicate with everyone.  This was a common question that we have gotten before, and I thought I would go ahead and bring it up and explain.  Ashy channels in what we call "half-in-half-out" (lack of better term), and she can see what is going on and happening and hear what is being said. 

However, WHY he chooses to do this is not entirely clear.  He is very interested in what people have to say, as well as interested in learning more about what people know about his own race and history.  He has expressed concern over the dying celtic traditions and beliefs, but he does not fully elaborate on all details. 

If Nevermore wants to answer a question, he would answer. But if he doesn't want to answer, then he generally doesn't.  He is like this with us.

Nevermore is Tuatha de Danann.  I'm not sure if he is going to introduce himself in his own thread, or what he plans to do.
