Hello, everyone. I'm new here to this site. I'm looking for people who like to share their experiences with fae and faeries and this was the first site to pop up on Google. I am a Pagan witch and I have been practicing for about 9 years or so now. After much soul searching, I communed with Cerridwen to discover that my magickal path lies with the fae. I discovered that ever since I was a little girl, I've always been able to connect with the fairies. Now my 1-year-old daughter also communicates with the faeries easily and it just feels right to invite the fae into my practice. I also feel that I might actually have fae blood, but I'm not sure what that makes me. I guess that's another reason why I am here. I traced my family lineage back to Scotland and the Picts and I feel a strong connection to the fae on that side as if I may be descended from them through that lineage. Everyone in my area who practices magick seems to be too scared to work with faeries, which I just don't understand. But I'm hoping to make new friends and be able to learn more and share what I know.

Hi Midwest, I too have found the fae through magic, I can under stand the fear of the fae, it takes a certain type of respect and a defifnitive path to work with the fae. Im sure its easier for some more than others. Its as if they see through your desires and judge your worthiness. In my first meditation I attempted path working, I had a praying mantis scratch my eyes. My next meditation a bird pecked my eye and blocked my path, the next I was beheaded bye a bearded horseman. Luckily Im used to wandering into places of the subconcious that hold a lot of twisted outcomes, and there message was clear, you need to change before you can enter our realm. Allso there was a presence of friendly fae saying dont give up. I later had some wonderfull experiences that showed me insights into what it would be like if I dedicated my self. At that point I knew I had to make a decision It was all or nothing.Things were intense, I had been forced to drink mead and was even called prince to confuse things, my head was spinning. I pulled away realising that if I joined the fae I needed to understand my purpose in life and my purpose with the fae.So here I am a year and a half later I lead a faery ring with my to daughters, The Order Of The Violet Flame. And am ready to dedicate it to the Eight United.

Good day Motavia,
Welcome to the site as I am also new, only about two months old in here, in which i have meet really fascinating people who carries a faery faith just like myself.
Anyhow I do also practice spells especially with faery's…. in here i have learned more about how others had interact with them. It also help me find alot more information i been seeking so it stumble upon me to find most of the answers towards my question. The best thing of it all,,, is how you can connect with people who have many common things in your nature. Regarding on working spells with faery's, i have found it really helpful, because the more i been connecting with the nature spirits the easier I been recieving some spell recipe in my dreams… there has been certain limitation before intriguing on any magic spells with faerys, so far the spells i done has been only because I ASK the faery to participate, and for the most part they just LoVe to join me on any spells i do, all because i do mainly healing spells, and havent practice any kind of black magic, which i stay away from. Besides White Magic, Gray Magic, or even Black Magic i would LoVe to WeLcOme you here :)) Cheers!

Merry Meet. :) Motevia, I'm very intrigued by your post because I too feel very connected to the fae. I'm irish and a beginning wiccan/pagan.
