I just wanted to thank you for this forum. It is so nice to know there are others out there who have seen the fae and have experienced some of their pranks. My family thinks I have lost my mind (well not my youngest {16}, he believes) when I say the fairies are at play. I am almost 40 an have felt the presence of fairies and other not so pleasant creatures my whole life.
I can't say I really see them, except as little flashes of light or a sudden swirl of color, a light touch( sometimes not so light). But they make sure I know they are there. We have quite the mix here of little pranksters and warm kind souls. One likes to pull my hair occasionally and hides things like my keys and my coffee cup. There is something here that will wrap me in what feels like a warm blanket when I am sad, lonley, or scared and keeps me company until I feel better. My garden fairies are wonderful in how they make the flowers bloom so beautifully. I must say they make my life very interesting at times.

Welcome, Momcowgill! Thanks for sharing your own experiences – it's always wonderful to find others who experience and believe in the fae. :)

Brrrr that's one very cold lake! I went swimming there once and have no desire to do it again. And I think you remember the mosquitos a bit small..I thought they were quite a bit larger! lol
But sorry, I live under the bridge, just about an hour north of Traverse City. And yes it is a very beautiful time of the year up here. Thank you all for your very warm welcome! I hope to share more of my experiences in the future.

I have always been the one to jump in regardless of how cold the water was. Though I'm not as able to do that as I was when I was younger it wasn't unusual for me to be in lake Michigan early May or when I lived in Maine to be in the Ocean swimming by mid May when I lived on the mainland and late may when I lived offshore on an island. Get the temp above 80 though and I'm wilting.

Welcome, momcowgill! I got on a bit later this week-. One of our employees quit, so luckily that means more overtime for me during the weeknights.
It sounds like you have a Troop of fun loving faery over there :-) They love keeping us humans on our toes ;-)
It's been several weeks now and I still can't find my set of keys again– the one with the quartz crystal attached to it that I lost the first time, and the faery made re-appear in the oddest place.. :-) that's okay though- i love them anyway :-)
I think that one that comforts you when you are sad sounds so sweet!
Nice meeting you!
hugs
