Hello everyone! I am a new member here, but not only new to this website, I am also rather new to the idea of fairies and believing in general. I stumbled upon this website earlier today. At first I was telling myself, real fairies? Really?  But ever since then I've been reading up everywhere I go about the Fae, and something just pulls at my hearstrings about them. I am going to be rather open-minded about this, and I am very excited about the possibility of Fairies. Although, I really do feel like I believe, I think it's a good idea to believe in everything until it's disproven, y'know?

I printed out the fairy communication amulet, fairy flag, and a few of the protection runes posted on this website. I want to begin by just talking to them, asking them if they could appear in my dreams, for me to remember my dreams. I think that's a good place to start. I'm going to be very determined to communicate with them, and I will be as sincere as possible. I really want to speak with any sort of Fairy, learn things about them, maybe bring them gifts and befriend them. I read that they are sensitive, so I hope I don't end up offending them, and I also hope I don't try too hard to communicate with them so I end up not having anything happen at all. Ahh!

When I was little, I used to be obsessed with fairies. I dressed up as one for halloween, read countless stories about them, collected little figurines. To me, they were real. Although as I grew older, I abandoned all that and forgot about fairies altogether. I just turned 17 the other day, and my name is Roxanne. :)

Would anyone like to share their "fairy-awareness" stories?
I am rather curious as to how all of you learned about the existance of fairies in the first place!

Welcome to the RF, I am sure you will feel at home here. Have any questions i am sure you will get answers. I have to say though Roxi from what i sence your quite interesting. So feel free to share with us anything you would like. 

I could try answering some of these questions myself but I think one of the faeries on here (yes, we have quite a few faeries on our site!) could answer more accurately. There is currently a topic for questions anyone might have for Nevermore. I have personally encountered a pixie a few years ago, which is the reason I started believing in faeries and wanted to know more about them. It's been quite an interesting journey so far :)

First I heard a whistle (a very unusual one, can't describe it) then something brushed through my hair and flew out in front of me. Then I got to take a look at it, because it hovered in the same spot for a while. It was about 4-6 inches in wing span, they looked like green dragonfly wings. But I couldn't see a body. Imagine just a pair of dragonfly wings floating around you, that's what it looked like :)

I like you was obsessed with fairies as a little girl. I never really stopped believing, but there was a brief break in time where I didn't really think about them all that much, before I found the forums and learned more about the actual fae, rather than the sparkly disney fairies with wands. Anyways I stumbled across my favourite fairy sharing website fairy gardens, and became immersed in reading all the stories. I while after that I was lucky enough to stumble across this site and ever since have been hooked to learning as much as I can.

Well I have had fae around me sence i was around 3. My first was a dragon which did at first kinda frighten me but not to much. As i felt that he was with good intentions and also i had a weird feeling i seen and known him from before. Others came. Some more so than others.  I experience many things though. Some times seeing, Comunication (in dreams and awake), I sence them quite easly as well as spirits. They give diffrent energy signatures.  There are few that i do comunicate with all the time.
