Oh gosh. >.<  The facebook demons. Never should have introduced them to the internet. @.o  They demanded facebook and they got it…Ashy… you know they will eventually get their way. :(  Its only a matter of time.

 

They got us to dress like them after lots of persuasion… they got us to give them their own facebooks…they got us to take them to the mall…they have us under their little paws. T__T   We are such pushovers. T__T

Pixie sticks are raving. At first, I thought they were made with real pixies, but they didnt taste the same. It was strange. But they are so delishous!

I am not a fan of foxes…especially ones who have more than one tail…We have a Kitsune here who is one of Aislinn's knights….he just SHOWED up and thought he could sniff my stuff. MY stuff.

Just popping in, cause I find this a really interesting intro. Alas, I can think of no questions, but I'm sure I will soon :) I'm Hera, and I like foxes, not the kitsunes so much as the swift foxes, cause they're chubby and cute :D. I'm not exciting really. Tall-ish, green eyes, a strange love for French music, especially Edith Piaf. Slowly working my way through Les Misérables, by Victor Hugo, in French. I'm not French, but I've an obsession for the language, learned it in elementary school xD Oh yes, and though I feel a sort of kinship with some fae, I'm really 100% human as far as I know.

 

But yes, pixie sticks are delicious.

Pixies make great snacks. Also, if you squeeze them, you can use their guts as oil to light candles for fire. I prefer pixie sticks these days though. And I dont go around just eating pixies. Its a delicacy that can be enjoyed very little. Dont Koreans eat dogs when Americans keep them as pets?

French music is beautiful. Music is beautiful. I hope you continue to enjoy your music for a long time. It is timeless.

Meh. They arent that cute. Those little buggers are pesty when they want to be, though Sprites tend to be a bit more obonxious. Pixies dont bite or sting, which is why they are okay to eat. Their fluids are really very potent, and the oils from them are used in some of our salves in the Royal Courts.

 

I have discovered that humans have ways of making magic of their own. I like this one that my inouin likes. Gackt. I am also a huge lover of harps. I have a harp, but I dont play it, it is not necessary. I play flute. I really enjoy the old music of Ireland. It reminds me of home. There is another music I like, but I do not know what it is called. But it reminds me of home too.

"humanoid features" isn't exactly the word for it, since… well, you're not human, but I mean, they're not super intelligent or anything, but they're still sorta… people? idk. Pixies are like… my babies xD They hang around me, hide in my hair, and just generally make nuisances of themselves. Then again, I've a friend who eats chicken legs. I guess it must be a cultural thing….? :3

Not really. We dont think along those lines like humans do. Cultural definitely. Vanir dont believe in eating pixies because pixies represent a roadway to the skies, where the gods reside. Tuatha de Dannan see pixies as a way to survive if necessary.  Pixies are organized the way we are. They have their own type of government" I guess. But they are small enough to eat, and are healthy. And if they help our females when heavy, then we will use them.

I think everyone should have something they love, and if French music and culture is for you, go for it.

I have long black hair (I love my hair), golden without black dots eyes, and my face is tattooed by my old General. Long ears. I get those from my father.

I have seen that, but I like Pans Labyrinth better. It really portrays our world very accurately. Fae are not all "sunshines and daisies". And that movie really explains that.

As for Labyrinth, it is very good with showing how the dregs of the unseelie court (those lesser goblins) behave for the most, and that male (Jarith) as gentry, though he is VERY Seelie.

Fomorians are our enemies we "inherited" from Fir bolgs when we invaded Ireland.Fomorians are basically demonic more than fae. There was one, Balor, who would kill by opening the eye on his head. He killed our King Nuadhu. The war with these people has been ongoing. My father was half but was not nearly as cold and cruel as the others, which is why my mother probably chose him.

My ears are more sides.

I just like the way I look this way. I choose to not have the black dots with my glamour.

Dress? However we like. Whatever we feel like. It could depend on stature too, as well as what court we are in. Sun/Seelie/Summer courts tend to wear lighter colors with dark stuff and Moon/Unseelie/Winter tend to wear darker color with light stuff on it. We dont have to do that. I wear whatever I want. There are also those of us who like to wear our armour (like Silverlance here). There was a fae here recently that wore funny pants that looked like a baggyness with a tunic. He was strange.
