Hey!
My name is allyssa, and I am 15 years old.
I came across this site a few days ago. I've always wanted to believe that stuff, like the Elves Of Fyn exsisted; still not entirely sure that I believe in them 100%, more like 90%, aha(:, but I do have an open mind, and am prepared to prove myself wrong, and turn that 90% into an absolute 100%!
First Question: So, as of right now, I plan on starting a "Fairy garden", and I also plan on making a "Fairy house", just need to find a way to keep the dogs out of the flowers, any suggestions?(:
Second Question: I know that things like, leprechauns, elves, unicorns, and stuff like that are said to be in the faery realm, but are there any sites that ya'll suggest that llist ALL of the mythical creatures that exist in the fairy realm?
Last Question: I've decided to take up meditation, any tips on that? Also, I've tried meditating once before, but once I got relaxed, and started trying to picture a forest in my head, all I saw was black, not totally black, but it was more black then anything else[Maybe I was doing something wrong?]. When ya'll meditate, do ya'll see the pictures crisp in clear? Or what?
Anways, thanks for reading!
Much love,
~Allyssa~

welcome to the site!
i don't know about the first two question, but we do have other members who can answer that.
About the mediation, basic of my experience, i don't see them through the third eyes or see them clearly, i see them through the mind. i think imaging is part of the process, you don't see it in your vision but you know as if you see it. it seem you ain't doing anything wrong, it just take times.

Hi Allyssa456! welcome to our forum here!
As for the first question, I reccomend you allow many flowers and plants to grow in your garden that just seem to pop up there with no explanation. Even if a thistle flower starts growing- don't pull it out. Thistles and other wild flowers are intentionally placed there by the faery to help the local bees , butterflies and other pollinating insects out. Many store bought flowers are not native to your specific area , so you want to have more Native growing flowers and plants in your garden. Also, the faery love violets, and any nectar like flower that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. They also love herbs like Rosemary, Thyme, lemon balm, and especially lavendar.
If you grow lavendar, it will be hardy because lavendar loves poor soil. It will even grow good in clay soil. The faery love lavendar.
Pansies are close to the violet family- and they don't hurt native plants- They also love cooler temperatures if you live in an area with cool weather.
When you make the faery garden, announce out loud to any faery that may be in and around the yard area that you have dedicated your garden for them and want them to feel welcome. You may not be able to leave out faery food snacks for the faery in your garden because of your dogs– and if your dogs start eating the faery offerings, your parents may not be too thrilled when the dogs start getting a little chubby…
So I would find a place where you can place faery snacks in the garden that is above ground.– like adding a bird bath or bird feeder attached to one of those sticks you poke in the ground. That way the dogs cant' get at the snacks left out for the faery.
For a faery cottage you may want to leave outside in their garden- I reccomnd making one where you weight it down with glued on rocks so the wind won't blow it away, etc. I found a really neat Toadhouse complete with windows and a swinging red door and upstairs patio for only like $19.99 at the collections.etc.com catalog last year. I think they are still selling it and other types too for about that much . You may want to check that out- the top part unscrews for easy cleaning- and it is heavy so that nothing blows it away- and your dogs cant ruin it either. I looks like a luxury cottage for the fae– even though it was intended for a place frogs could go from the sun.. I dont think the fae would mind if a frog went into their cottages!
During our snowy Winter months, I bring it inside and keep it indoors as an indoor cottage for them– then move it back out in the Spring.
You could ask the faery to shoo away any dogs that stray in their garden too–
REgarding your second question- there are actually many websites that list all the different types of Beings in thier dimension– there are, of course, many kinds that we humans have no label for- we are only familiar with the ones mentioned and passed down through celtic history . There are many many more we have no idea of- and occasionally people have modern encounters with them. You can google search for any sites that list the differnt types of faery. Take what you read with a grain of salt though- many sites label a certain type of faery being as being hostile or Unseelie, when it is not neccessarily true. All intelligent Beings have a choice towards being self-less or being selfish just as with humans.
With your third question– Others here may be able to answer you better on that- You may want to check our meditation thread hhere on the forum- we have so many threads-!

Hello Lisa!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to type all of that!
-I went to the store the other day, and bought some flower seeds, such as, carnations, snapdragons, and some other flowers that I can't remember off the top of my head. [I did get some pansies] Would the snapdragons, and carnations be OK? [I plan on buying more later with in the week]
About the dogs; I was actually thinking about putting some kind of gate around the small area to keep them out [Not made out of iron, of coure, any other materials I should stay away from?] Not sure if that would work, or if I will even be able to find a gate, but it's worth a shot.
-That toadhouse sounds perfect! – I'll consider getting that! :D
-Haha, OK, guess I'll use google, and see what I can find.
-I agree! There are a lot of threads! I've actually visited almost every fourm! – Lots, and lots of threads! :D
Thank you SO much for stopping by, and giving me all of this helpful information!
Much Love,
~Allyssa~

Ohhh, Snap dragons and carnations would be great! When dedicating your garden to the faery , don't forget to also permit them to allow wild flowers of thier own to start growing. You may also notice some things you considered weeds– like pretty grasses. Don't pull them out. Work your other flowers around them and just transplant those that take over to other areas of the garden.
You may not even need any kind of gate– i don't have one in front of the fae's garden in my yard, even though we have two dogs who love to snoop around….lol.
I planted a border of perrenial low growing plants all along the edge, so it kind of deters the dogs from bothering to go in the garden.
Regarding meditating– I am not able to meditate as many can– my mind is too cluttered and I think I have adult ADHD..lol! But there have been occasions where I was actually able to meditate every once in a while- and alot of times the scenes are very dark. Sometimes in a rare while I will get a scene pop up that is as bright as day- Now right now, if I tried to meditate- I would see nothing. It seems I cannot meditate at will.
hugs!

Good. :D
I may have to do that and see if it works(: Haha, one of our dogs is REALLY lazy, so she doesn't go out all to much, one of my other ones will go out, but she doesn't stay out for a LONG time, probably about five minutes or so. Now, the third one, champ, I am kind of worried about, since, if we would let him, he would spend HOURS on end outside; he tends to run around the yard barking at leaves when they're blowing; and, a lot of times he actually barks at the wind! lol(: He's got some sort of 'trench' type thing going around almost our entire patio! We try to get him to stop, but he won't.. which is why I was kind of afraid that he would try and dig up the flowers.. :o
My mind is cluttered, too, but I am POSITIVE I don't have ADHD :P… I love daydreaming, so that one time I tried meditating, instead of consentrating on relaxing my body, I started daydreaming… and then I started thinking about other stuff I had to do; one of those things being.. doing more research about the faery, on this site. So it was kind of hard to "relax", since I started moving around, and kept getting up, and down, and stuff.
Much Love,
