Our Forum…

I've been a member of this site for a while but I never introduced myself or really did anything to put myself out there. My name is Rachel, I'm 15 years old and I found this site a couple years ago (I'm not sure exactly). I did have another account (Kyanndi) but I couldn't figure out how to change the avatar, so I made a new account thinking there was just something wrong with the old one. I finally realized how to make and upload an avatar and now this is my main account until I delete the old one.

I originally was just using this site to find information about fairies an found this to be the best one, but eventually checked out the forum and realized it is also a place to share your expiriences, thaughts and ideas without being thought of as crazy.

About me personally: I am going into my Sophmore year of high school and I am in dance, choir, an German (I was in art the year before and planned to continue with painting but there wasn't any room in my schedule). I am generally a selfish person when it comes to being around other people, but I am trying to be more selfless and reach out to people when they need me rather than when I need them. I'm pretty much a typical Gemini even if not everyone believes astrology, but despite that I actually like being around emotionally and spiritually sensitive people and I tend to let my guard down around them because of that. I am very restless and want to travel or do something out of the ordinary. I especially want to travel to places in the north that have forests or mountains. My biggest interests and hobbies are cultures and languages of countries (spicifically Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland & Scotland, and most of the Eastern European countries) I'm currently trying to learn Finnish; Music, I play piano and am taking lessons for fiddle; I also like being outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, sailing, and this summer I plan to try wakeboarding if we sell our boat for a faster one, and windsurfing. The biggest highlights of my year is always when I go snowboarding in Colorado with my family and two of my extendend families whom we are close with, and going to summer camp with either my cousin or my best friend in the summer. I love meeting new people even though I'm always reluctant at first. I am Christian (Catholic) but I don't agree with the way some of the people of my faith go about using Christianity as an excuse to hurt people. I respect people of other religions as long as it isn't based on negativity (like satanism, even typing that word makes me iffy), but I do feel upset when I find out someone has turned away from all religion, especially if I understand their reason (ex. they felt abandoned because they didn't get help when they needed it).

I believe that there are other beings out there that we don't have "scientific proof" of, but I haven't tried to contact any because I am afraid, and I think they can sense that which is why I haven't had any encounters.

 

I apologize if I bored anyone, I honestly didn't expect to write this much and I think now you all know more bout me than most people I know .
