I'm not good with introductions… so let me try…

I'm 14 (my birthday is Halloween!) and I've always grown up with belief in the fae because my mom is Wiccan and “into all that stuff” I guess you can say. My dad is sorta-Buddhist, but he never stopped me from exploring stuff. I don't know if he believes or what, so it's mostly me and my mom doing stuff. I've always played outside and I really can feel all the life and magick around me :D

My mom says that when I was younger I was visited by fae and I would talk about them all the time but I don't really remember much of that now. Every now and then I'll peek out my window at night at night and see orbs floating in our garden. I haven't seen any yet this year, gotta wait for warmer weather I guess. My mom teaches me spells and charms and all that stuff, about the fae and their world, world myths, etc. I learned to meditate from my father and he passed on his love of Eastern culture to me :D My family is all taking Japanese lessons because my father wants to go to Japan and make some pilgrimages to different shrines and temples and maybe stay for a few months.

Other than my interest in fae, I love to read. I like music and shopping and just daydreaming I guess. I'm working on my own Book of Shadows (a book of spells and info about magick). I'm enjoying being young and discovering the world. It makes me sad to see so many kids who are already so young and they don't play pretend anymore, or believe in magick, or even have imaginations! :) I hope you guys are still young at heart. I like making friends and just talking, and I'm a good listener, and I love mail… (hint hint lol)

I'm skipping school today because I feel ill :( maybe I'll see if there are any fae outside. I am loooooving this new spring weather!

ok Heroine I admit water is powerful. I recently carved a sword and called it Evan's storm. It is dedicated to the water element. Happy?

Welcome Tempest!!   Your mother sounds like an awesome woman!

I'm looking forward to your posts– that is sooo awesome that you see the faery appearing as orbs in your garden.  Yes,  there does seem to be groups of faeries that hang out during the Spring Summer months-   and they leave in the Fall, but come back in the Spring.       Some groups stay around all year too I think..Smile

Hello Tempest,Welcome, here you will find friends,If you have questions someone will help you, It is good to be young even in an older age as I am,I still try to stay young,I am Native American also.More people are coming out now, more believers, more are opening up to.But there are still those whos minds can't go there. It is good your Mom and Dad are open and teaching you.this is good.you are young and still learning, always ask if you have a problem or want to know more.It makes me feel good that the younger ones are are still learning.Bill(littleEagle)Thank You Tempest.
