hi.. i'm rei, 25 years old. i'm from indonesia.
i'm very excited to what you all post here.. it seems that fairy likes to meet you in Europe and USA, i'm so sad that i've never heard about encounter elves in Asia. are the elves just living in certain country? i hope i can meet one.

Hi Rei, welcome to the forums!
Don't worry, there are faerie folk all over the world, even in Indonesia. You might just know them by different names, for example in Japan there is a kind of snow woman they call a yuki-onna who is tall like an elf. You might find it helpful to check into your local folklore and legends. :)

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
There are all kinds of faeries all over the world. However, the most documentede faery accounts are likely in America and Europe simply because many faery-tales originated in these areas.
As Athidal said, check into other local legends to see if there are any visual accounts of fae in your area. Also, simply put up a faery star and see if it attracts fae, etc.
There are faerykind all over the world.

thank you all… and thanks for the pie..
here, there is a belief about queen of southern sea that lives in southern sea of indonesia. There is a local belief that wearing a green garment in these areas will anger her and will bring misfortune on the wearer, as green is her sacred colour. so.., is she also a part of elves?
but about the fae, i think they wont show up because it's too crowded here..

First of alll, welcome reinerain!
The faerykind of all types live all over the Earth- It doenst matter what Country you live in. It is true that some of the faery will have particular customs as we humans also do– where they dress differently, etc. but they are still of the same realm. Some have seen faery and small elven type beings in tropical locations as well- They are every where and visit all over the Globe.
People in your area may not be aware of the faery there– but it doesnt mean they don't exist. I used to think that IF faery existed, that they probably only existed in Britain, Ireland and Scotland. Then I saw a faery inside my home resting in my hair of all places! :-) (I am 46 1/2 by the way so it doesnt matter what age you are)
