Hello amethist, I would suggest reading Mr E's channelled sessions, plus once you start looking you will find fairys every where, they have allways been around in our books, paintings art, statues, music and of course nature, the language of the wind, if you listen carefully the rustling leaves speak of the hidden realm. Old myths from any country can hold faery treasures with deep connections and strong magic, when we humans weren't afraid of using our third eye.
