Most modern pagans, especially druids and wiccans use the word “witchcraft” to describe the practice itself (but not in mixed company ofcourse) and then we use the word magick to describe the result.
But other than that you really have your facts straight, it's all neutral energy until you use it.

HAHAHAHAHA that just happens with age. I noticed that when I was around 11 or 12. Time seems to go faster and an hour doesn't seem like a long time anymore. I don't know why it happens, but it's not out of the ordinary, no worries.

I know this is late, but a question popped up in my head and it's been bugging me for quite a while. Magic is basically energy, right? So is it possible that people can do magic without knowing they are doing magic? Like say, people who paint fabulous pictures or compose music creating something so awe-inspiring. I've heard some people say that they owe their lives to a certain artist because that artist created this amazing peice of art that just empowers people. I'm just wondering if there is a correlation there if any of this makes any sense.

In his "Evil and Magic" post, Mr E said that magic was a "…word that means the power of creating. He also said that "energy and magic, same difference," and what he meant is that we are surrounded by energy and with focus and direction, we can create desired magical outcomes. Thinking about what goes into creating a work of art, I can say that it is very natural to focus and direct energy during the creative process so imbuing a work of art with magical energy and making it empowering and awe-inspiring is definitely possible. What type of energy is contained within a work of art would depend on the individual artist which would probably explain why the work of some artists "speak to us" and others don't.
going back to the channeling. I wonder what Mr. E's input is what he feels when he's doing this. I have a couple friends who practice Voodou/Santeria. Now they tell me that the Spirit who is doing the riding can feel exactly what the person feels, but there is no residual memory the personality of the channeler is totally supressed during the actual services. It is partially suppressed when doing divination and other things like healing sessions. The Lwa give supernatural abilities to those they posess, one I think it is Chango gives the ability to handle fire without being burned is one example. Another example was a friend of mine was attacked with a knife. The angel that he works with did a partial posession and with no marital arts training, he not only fended off the knife attack but almost killed the attacker. Those who have marital arts training know that a knife attack is the most difficult attack to deal with when weaponless.
One thing I was thinking of, if Mr. E has the ability to heal among other things, he might be able to do it on this plane through Susan. I don't know the extent of the elve's abilties in that area. That is just one possibility. I think it would be likely that experience in channeling on both sides makes a difference as to what can be done. The Lwa spirits are inherently very powerful and they have thousands of years experience in doing this kind of work, and rituals done at least on the human end and probably on theirs as well that enhance the abilities.
However, I think he can probably do more than what's being posted. Maybe when I get moved if your inclined I can do some research on abilities that can occur via channeling and give some additional avenues for exploration. I'll be back next week hopefully

I'd love to know what abilities can be done when channeling! I'm interested to see the extent of the fae's abilities when connected to a human.

lol. Sorry I didn't catch this question earlier. People do magic every day whether they know it or not. Auras are energy fields which absorb and transfer energy from or environment and other people. Since magic is defined as the transfer of energy then this is magic. Emotions are magic too. Also there is the law of attraction which says that whatever you think is what you get.
at one part he mentioned that the change could happen quicker if we push hard enough from the other side. does he mean us, or the fey? if he means us, could we help speed it up by magic, or teaching, or living like the fey? Anything I can do to help. in 2012 I'll be seventeen, and if the process lasts a hundred years, I wont get to live as I want to live!!! THAT CANT HAPPEN! absoloutely anything I can do.
