Salutations! I'm new to the site.
I stumbled on this site after I finished playing a fairy game (if anyone's familiar with Tinkerbell you guys would know that there is a Pixie Hollow game in the internet, haha) and then I felt the sudden urgency to search for more fairy information. I have been into fairies for I have no idea how long, but yet I still had a bit of doubts due to bad mediumship/channeling experiences (which I dropped diligence after a few months practice, but you can say I still got it)
Other stuff you should know about me is that I'm sort of a magickian. I use it for practicality and at the same time pursue spiritual wisdom (which as of now I find that there are SO MANY missing pieces, its as if you have to look everywhere and avoid "tunnel-vision") so I also hope to find something spiritual when connecting with fairies and elves more.
I have yet to have a concrete fairy experience yet, a few came but the source wasn't personal, (stuff being told to me via chatrooms), and even a few personal experiences became a bit tainted from the previous experiences from that untrusted source. It's pretty hard for me to put it all into words, but yeah. I'm gonna try shaking the bad stuff all off, and have a real fairy experience some day when my psychic senses are more refined.

ps: do you think it's kind of weird for me to imagine being my own fairy based on the Tinkerbell game and interacting with those fictitious Disney fairies before I sleep? Will it help me communicate with fairies anyway?

Welcome to real fairies! I completely get what you mean when you say there are missing pieces. You really do have to look around everywhere and sample everything to try and understand the full scope of things. I think the more you open yourself up to beings on the other side of the veil and in other dimensions, and the more you take in the magic of the universe, the more things show themselves to you. Patience is the biggest virtue when it comes to these things it seems.
Also, I don't know if it will help you communicate with real fairies to imagine Disney ones, but it seems fun either way. ;)

Is this tinkerbell game you speak of called http://www.disneyfairies.com? If so, Im aware of that site! Its very interesting.

Hi Moonfire, welcome to our forum here! I hear you on not having tunnel vision–
There are types of faeries that do appear to humans very much in the way Tinkerbell is depicted- only not in cartoon of course..lol I have posted a few modern day encounters of some who have encountered those types of faeries.
I don't know if you will actually tap into real live faeries by imagining you are speaking with the fictitous Disney faeries.. but if you talk to faeries in general before falling asleep, you may be surprised that there was one in your room who happened to hear you– I like to speak to them outside of my home at night before going to sleep– and tell them that if they don't hate humans, then they are welcome inside your home- and then I would leave some sweet snack out for them– even a pop tart will do.
You may start feeling thier presence in your room- and they may reach you through a dream, or you may start seeing flying lights here and there from the corners of your eyes.

The website I apeak of is actually a subset of http://www.disneyfairies.com, it's actually at http://pixiehollow.go.com which is an MMORPG and allows you to create a fairy of your own :D
And I'm not sure whether this is credible as a fairy experience or not (most of my "fairy" experiences are like this, actually, only this time I learnt about their love for chocolate) before this experience I only "imagine" them flying in and out, tending to the potted flowers my house has. They don't interact with us, they just do their job and when I approach them they just hide. But today before I left school, I shouted telepathically & whispered physically at the same time (because I heard some fairies have delicate ears and if I shouted, their ears could…y'know…bad stuff happens o.o) and about a few long seconds later, a red fairy flew in, she was pretty timid, just went for the chocolate tart's essence and then it was followed by 4 other fairies and sparrowmen. I thought one of them really resembled Vidia of Tinkerbell/it really was her.
One thing I've got to know first, fairies can fly, isn't it? But do they like to perch in high apartments where everything is almost concrete (except for the potted plants)? I also wonder if my experiences are real anyway because they seem different from the way our webmistress express hers.
Anyway, I'm in the process of creating a fairy home in my room. I've used the communication amulet and going to set up the fairy flag soon. Till then!
