Our Forum…

So… I'm back. 

My girlfriend and I were on this site in and around the March-April time, but there were some issues and misunderstandings that happened between us and Natalie, but now she's allowed us to come back and answer your questions again. Since I decided against Faerie_Firbolg2.0, I figured that this screen name was way more awesome, since I am (technically) his slave (but not really). I just channel him.

You can call me Ashy (as that's what I was known as before), but I also answer to Morgan, Red, and Soulless Ginger. I am a channeler. I reguarly channel anywhere from 4-6 faeries depending on whose interested in talking, what they want to talk about and whose in the room at the time. My main one's name (public code name) is Valor, and he's an Irish Fir Bolg. The rest of them are either sidhe or Tuatha de Danann, which are basically the nobles and royalty of Ireland. We have a few that are not nobility, but for the most part, they all generally are.

I started channeling about a year ago, and I swear I thought I was absolutely insane at first. I also thought that I was the only one in the world that could do it. Then I found Aislinn and she and I got together and we met our third (who would love to say hi, but doesn't really do internet forums), and I still thought that we were the only ones. I don't particularly live in an area where people understand channeling or faeries or paganism really. Nodody's goddess is Danu, and I hear a lot of "who" or "what" in reference to what I'm trying to talk about.

If you're interested in checking us out, our part of the forum is under "Lair Nevermore". Nevermore is one of our larger faeries and by large, I mean he's loud and in your face and finds everyone extremely interesting. He actually even has his own account on this forum, and will occasionally talk.

The fae that will occasionally steal my keyboard to talk are: Valor, V and Silverlance. Valor is a fir bolg and therefore has no court. He doesn't want one. V is a Norse Vanr, and is usually Unseelie, but he's currently going through something and emoting everywhere, so he's flipped courts. Silverlance is Tuatha de Danann and currently Unseelie and particularly selfish, but not wicked or evil. He also has a very attractive british accent. Normally he's Seelie, but it's getting to be that time of year again.

ANYWAY. Nevermore is channeled by my girlfriend, and I'm sure she'll go into more detail when she gets more time to talk. We're going to be leaving the country soon and going to Japan, so we have to pack up our apartment.

Yes, I agree.  I have come to believe that there must be some pretty big regional differences between the Irish fae and Mr E's world because their two descriptions just don't fit.  I'm glad you mentioned this so we don't get off track again….

@waterfairy – Yes, all fae live in the fae realm. There are different types of fae and each have their own culture, system, language, etc. based on their race and what region they live in, much like humans.
