Hi there everybody, so it's great to find a community like this one to talk with. I'm not going to lie and say I see fairies or have had an encounter because unfortunately I haven't, but am very interested in the thought. I've been reading through the forums and trying to make sense of everything. Fairies have been a curiosity of mine for awhile. I try my best to keep an open mind and have a welcoming home and garden and green lifestyle and I do believe in a world much larger and more spiritual than the average person.
Anyways I'm looking forward to meeting you all and learning as much as I can. I'm 22 and currently live in Toronto, so it would be fantastic to hear from others in Canada. My understanding is there aren't many fae here because I never hear stories about Canadians. I hope some of you have some though. I've lived all over the country and am always keeping my eyes and soul on the look out for the super natural. Obviously anyone I talk to about this sort of thing isn't interested, so it's more of a private curiosity. I've been interested in Astral travel, the fairy realm and other things of the sort.
Eager to hear from you all!
Hawkeye

Hi hawkeye, yeah I always believed in fairies and magic and I was so excited when I found a community like this. I studied astral travel for a year or so. I know how you feel, no one cares or understands when I talk to them about the fae or astral projection. So, welcome to the community of Real Fairies.

Be who you are, do not roam far. Live happily in peace, and may nature not cease. Blessed Be, set our hearts free.

Hi Hawkeye,
I'm in Canada too. (british columbia) I havn't seen any 'fairies' so to speak but my husband most definately has. And coming from Australia myself, this country feels so young, wild and fresh that I am almost certain that the faye are about here.
I have seen perhaps signs of faye, green and blue sparks, I see them daily. It is a very magical country, alive and humming!
My husband has a theory that squirrels are signs of the pixies. I am starting to believe him. Watch the animals here, they're shapeshifters! ;)
anouk.

Hi Hawkeye!
I'm also in Canada (Ontario) and don't worry, we have our fair share of the Fae here =) Actually, James Gardens is a great place to see signs of the Fae. I've had much luck there!
And welcome to our community!

Hello and welcome fellow Canadian!
I currently live in British Columbia, Canada is a very wonderful place! (Minus the riot that happened during the stanley cup)
It's great to meet another person who has yet to have an encounter but still believes. I don't think it has anything to do with where we live though, I doubt that Canada has any less fae that say the United States; we're both in North America!
Anyways look forward to getting to know you :)
