So… Hi.
I found this forum because I decided to google "channeling faeries" since… up until this point, I thought that my girlfriend and I were the only people who could do it. I live in the midwest, and around here… while there's a great Pagan following, there really aren't that many people who know how to deal with faeries, and most people who do know how to deal with faeries, haven't ever seen a Gentry fae a day in their lives.
I've had them… *THEM* my entire life. I have one who stays constant and the others fluxuate depending on… everything. I have mostly Gentry, and mostly Seelie-Courters. I think I have one or two that are Unseelie. I have some that aren't "fae", but are from Ireland, and all together… I think my girlfriend and I have about… anywhere from 8-12 at any given time.
I haven't always been spiritually aware, or at least… I haven't always known that that was what it was, the feelings I got and the people I could sometimes see, the visions and images. I can't channel ghosts… They're not even on the same plane as me, just faeries.
This Mr. E answers a lot of questions in the same ways that mine do, which was what drew me here in the first place. I wish I'd found you guys earlier, maybe then things would have been less confusing.
Here's to hoping you all don't think I'm crazy, most of my friends do.

Hey, and welcome here! Nobody will think you're crazy.
Everybody here is very nice and accepting, as what I've seen, except for
a few trolls that come in, but that's rare, at least I think, haha.
I'm from the midwest, too. :P
I hope you find everything you need on this site, if anything at all,
But, the members here, are quiiite active!

Well I can go for being a bit crazy or strange versus being a boring "sheep" like the rest. I do hope that you feel very welcomed here. While I do not have much else to say that hasn't been said already I do hope to maybe see you on the sites chat.

No one is crazy here. The only reason your friends think you are is most likly because they don't want to accept the truth that fae are real. It's hard finding people that do.

Thanks everybody! I'm hoping to poke around and see everyone else's experiences. Mine are kinda on the bizarre side, but considering the topic…
My girlfriend and my roommate are the only friends I have that believe it, though my mom might since her chat with my constant one, we can call him Valor, since they have these things about names. Actually, most people have told me that they're demons and that they're going to drag me kicking and screaming to Hell. I generally disregard anything that comes out of their mouthes after that. If Valor was a demon, he probably wouldn't spend so much time trying to protect me.
But, it's really nice to find people who believe me. So… I have a question though, what's an Indigo?

An Indigo is ,supposably, someone who by divine purpose has been incarnated into a human body to save the Earth.

well some tend to have diffrent abilities. Healing, Seeing, using energy around them, and other things. I dont remember to much honestly. before my computer crashed lol i have 7 sites about them. I no longer have any more. so sorry

Most of the time when they talk to us, they talk to us about the faeries and the faerie world in general. Our faeries are Irish faeries, like the Tuatha de Danann. They talk about the Fomorians, who are faeries (just in case you don't know… some people don't) that are worse than the Unseelie Court. They talk about what really happened to them and why they're not here like they used to be, and they talk about how most of the mythology that's been written down isn't exactly correct.
I don't really know much about Mr. E's elves, and I haven't been on the site very long, but one of the things that they've said that's similar is the 2012 thing.

Wow, Fomorians are worse than the unseelie?  I can't even imagine how evil they must be.

Yeah… Unseelie for the most part are just chaotic, Fomorians are evil. They want to destroy you, and everything you love. I generally don't like it when they drop in, because while they tell the truth… they tell the twisted truth, a truth that's cruel, everything you don't want to hear. They're also rather hard to get rid of once they get in past whatever defenses you have up, and they're really hard to spot. First you'll think it's just you, and then you'll do something that you wouldn't normally do. They love anger especially. ESPECIALLY. Anger, hatred and jealousy are their favorite emotions. They're a little like demons, except not as bad. I don't like them.
And yes. Our faeries, Nevermore particularly, said that in 2012 the human world and the otherworld will collide, bringing magic back for those who believe it, and even some that don't.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing… Feel free to tell us more, like facts about the fae you think we would like to know, etc.
I for one can't wait to see what happens in 2012… I don't work with magic often, but whenever I cast a spell (once in a blue moon) it ends up coming true, and very quickly. Hopefully in 2012 it'll get even better!
