I was searching for some fairy photos and i found this. I'm sure some are familiar with this :).

''What appear to be the mummified remains of a fairy have been discovered in the Derbyshire countryside.
The 8 inch remains complete with wings; skin, teeth and flowing red hair have been examined by anthropologists and forensic experts who can confirm that the body is genuine. X-rays of the 'fairy' reveal an anatomically identical skeleton to that of a child. The bones however, are hollow like those of a bird making them particularly light. The puzzling presence of a navel even suggests that the beings reproduce the same as humans despite the absense of reproductive organs.
The remains were discovered by a local man, who wishes to remain anonymous, while walking his dog along an old Roman road situated between the villages of Duffield and Belper.''
Sounds very interesting, opinions :) ?

There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.

Oh my. That is quite interesting. I figured the bones must be hollow in order for them to achieve flight… But wow. The navel thing while lacking reproductive organs is quite interesting as well.

Sorry guys, this was just an April Fool's joke done by UK artist and magician, Dan Baines in 2007. He originally posted the photo and description above on a website and confessed with the following statement on April Fool's:
Even if you believe in fairies, as I personally do, there will always have been an element of doubt in your mind that would suggest the remains are a hoax. However, the magic created by the possibility of the fairy being real is something you will remember for the rest of your life.
Alas the fairy is fake but my interest and belief has allowed me to create a work of art that is convincing and magical. I was also interested to see if fairy folklore is still a valid belief in modern society and I am pleased to say that yes it is! I have had more response from believers than I ever thought possible.
Here's a link to a BBC News article confirming all of this:

I know, it is disappointing, isn't it? But…it doesn't seem like he meant any harm in doing this.

Yes, I heard of that one too- at least he admitted it – and I also dont' think he meant any harm. I'm wondering if he ever had any real encounters with a faery though as he said he does believe in them.
When I first saw this photo last year, I did think it resembled the description many had of seeing faeries with the thin long limbs and delicate bone structure . Even the faery I actually did see face to face had a very delicate bone structure– very exquisite and otherworldly So maybe he was crafting this mummied faery from what he or his relatives may have also seen at one time–
