Those are all artworks by Brian Froud. He wrote a book about 'good faeries and bad faeries' (as well as a few other faery-related books), and an oracle deck called The Faeries' Oracle. I own TFO and I always imagine fae to look similar to his depictions, though I'm not sure how valid the stuff he writes or claims to know is. I'm also a fan of the Spiderwick artwork. :D

I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you; The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do.
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.

Brian Froud seems to have some insight on how they do look like! I have the Faerie Oracle's Deck also– and was amazed at how the male pixies pictures looked very much like the faery I encountered.   She was much more softer and less wiry in appearance, however, than his depiction.

She also had similar eyes as they did–without irises., however her eyes were longer and tilted up and more softer looking.  She had a beautiful inner light reflected in her eyes.    Her eyes were wide set and tilted up a bit.   She had high brow bones and a high forhead and cheekbones.  A tapered delicate nose and chin and lips in proportion to her face.

Her skin was a soft light cocoa brown color.    She definitely looked like someone of position as well as intelligent– yet she also had an innocence and humbleness about her.     She looked so sweet.  I will  never forget her.

I use the picture below as my signature pic because it looks so much like her– though she had her eyes wide open and was looking right at me.  In the picture, this being's head is down like she is resting- and her eyes are closed.

Seeing that faery changed my life forever
