Nice thread!!!
I really love the faery wand idea too– I found an unusual stick the year I had my faery encounter– found it mysteriously laying along the side of the road across the street from our home– I instinctively knew it was a gift from a gnome, elf, faery– I think a kind gnome carved it for me :-)
I had a quartz crystal point that I inserted in the end and I set it in the faery garden as a decoration. That week when I was talking with my mother in the driveway one night, I saw a sparkly pink comet-like light zoom over the apple tree right near the faery garden :-)
My friend, Tanya (who gives me my fairy readings at the holistic fair) told me that the faery had given me a wand as a gift. I have it to this day and will treasure it always xoxoxox
Here's some more craft ideas for the faeries!
1- Gazing Ball- Get a wood thimble , cork, or other interesting base and glue a really attractive marble on top. Add to your faery garden, or outside of your faery cottage – The pixies will love it :-)
Now that Spring /Summer is here, I've noticed that they actually TOOK the loose marble I put onto of thier faery cottage outside in their garden. And they also whisked away the rose quartz stone I had in the dish all Winter long. :-)
2. Miniature table or bench– Get a cork or other small base and glue gun a flat piece of bark on top. You may want to sand the bottom of the cork or wood so it lays well on a flat surface.
Viola! you now have a little wooden table for the fae's cottage.
you can make a bowl stand by glueing two acorn caps together by their tips, and leave to dry. Once dry, you can fill the top acorn "bowl" with little stones , seashells, or other tiny treasures for the pixies :-)
You can even use it as a little "bird" bath :-)
