That would be cool. I love that movie.

It might also be a cool idea to put dried flowers that faeries like on the pages. Like honeysuckle, foxglove, bluebells, heather, etc.

Hello everyone!

Well the other day I was sitting on my bed thinking about different things and then I had a thought about the movie The Spiderwick Chronicles It is one of my favourite movies, and it's kinda what got me interested in Fairies in the first place, well I was thinking about the book in the movie, for those of you who havn't seen the movie (firstly go see it!!) the book was written by Mr. Spiderwick and in it he had information about fairies, goblins etc. The whole movie was based around that book, because cirtain magical creatures wanted it, so the humans needed to protect it (with the help of a brownie who had anger mangment problems *haha*)  it had different fairy things in it that Mr. Spiderwick had collected etc etc. It was kind of like an old fashioned scrapbook.

Well I was thinking that I should make my own fairy scrapbook! In it, it could have information I have collected about fairies, drawings of fairies, fairy poems/rhymes, and I was going to put a fake fairy body in it (so I could write the anatomy next to it), made out of leaves, twigs etc. But would the fairies get offended by that? Me having a 'dead body' in my scrapbook?

And all together do you think that it's a good idea?

I guess that's a good idea, but it's only a good idea if you think it is.

Also, that is so weird!After watching that same movie, I started to get interested in fae! What a coincidence.

Try finding out what flowers fae like the most, different types of fae, fae in cultures and mythology..etc

You can also write experiences about them as well. Anyway, good luck!

@stellar: I had that very same Idea this morning when I woke up! I live in Australia though so I would be limited on some plants as we can't get them here….but I could draw pictures of plants they like that we can't get in Australia!

@DakotaRisingMoon: To me the movie was so magical and I wanted it all to be true, so I started looking up things about fairies and other magical creatures and I was so amazed by what I found I couldn't look at all of it and then say that fairies arn't real, there was just so much evidance that said that they were real!

Your Ideas are great, I will have to do some more reserch to find out about different types of fae, and fae cultures I'm so exited now!

Also is there such thing as faiy ettiquite? Like do fairies have to act a cirtain way around humans, do they need to eat a cirtain way etc etc. It may sound stupid, but I have been thinking about that quite a bit lately…

Same here. I watched it, and started wishing it was real. Then my Step mom's friend came over, and she believed in fae and she does reiki. She explained it to me, and then we found this site.

Plus, once I saw a power animal book, and not knowing what a power animal was, I read it and decided to buy it.
