Were they listening to a recording or were they actually there listening to this? I'm very intimately acquainted to spirit, but even I would be running in the opposite direction if I heard that while walking in the woods at night. Even if they were only listening to a recording, I'd think that we'd at least be hearing, "Oh my God" or "What the heck?" Not a calm "What do you think that is?" I don't trust Paranormal State.
