Have you had a fairy encounter? If you have (or think you may have), I hope you will post it here and we can offer our thoughts on what you have experienced (if you would like). Please feel free to include things you’ve seen, felt, or heard that you think may have been fairy related. Don’t foreget that the fae can also be practical jokers and if you feel you have been the subject of one of their jokes, include that too. We can’t wait to hear all about it!

Hi!
Ok i don’t know how u r going 2 take this, lyk a fairy sighting or a dream? but i haven’t invited any fairy yet to my home but the day i read bout the fairies n also commented bout some thing, the same night i had a dream of seeing this fairy. All i can describe bout her is that she was lyk the height of a pixy n she was glittery n had wings n she was pretty.Do u think it was a dream or something?

OK!i’m really sori 2 bother u but 1 more thing after attracting fairies,am….. am just 14 yrs n when i go 2 skul what will the fairies do? will they follow u 2 skul also?

Hi Priya,
Did she talk to you? I would think if she shows up again in your dreams, it is most likely a fairy encounter. The elves tell us that they do contact us in dreams, especially to begin with. Please let me know if you have any more dreams like this.
I think they can follow you if they want but will they? Hard to say….

Ok, bout talking i am not sure but she smiled at me since then no dreams bout fairies…uh!,but with it i also saw a bad fairy,i don’t remember it so well but i know i told it,”U r not welcomed!” just like u said to do.N when will u make the post of,how to make a fairy house?

Hi.
Okay i don’t know how to start, cause i guess im not really sure wat it was myself… it happened when i was around 5 or 6, im now 14. I woke up in the middle of the night one night and next to me there was this fake frog..i don’t really like frogs… so i screamed thinking it was real. My grandmother woke up and turned on the lights and right when the lights went up i turned back to it and it dissapeared. i was so confused and fightened i went to my parents room. as i laid in their bed, with the lights off and my parents asleep, there were these bluish green creatures dancing, and floating around. i don’t really remember it much, if they talked to me or such but im guessing the first part was a practical joke. o and they didn’t have wings so im not quite sure wat it was but they were gone when the lights were on…
o and can fairies mimic voices?

I remember when I was poked in the back by the fairy & the other time it was Christmas 2007 and the fairies stole my present. I have had dreams with fairies dancing to weird positive music (*i think it was Irish tunes) Id like to hear back from u mom. Thank you!

ok i really dont know where to start, i guess the begining is best. i have always believed in faeries! when i was about 12 almost every night i would have dreams about faeries dancing and singing. after about a month of dreams my stuff would start to disapear and reapear a few days later. usually small things like keys, needles, thread, doll clothing, stuff like that. except one day my glasses disapeared i tore my room apart for weeks even after moving out i couldnt find them. to this day i still havnt been able to find them mind you im 21 now. i recently gave birth to my son and since his birth the faeries seem to have riled up. a few days after coming home from the hospital i woke up one morning and my watch was gone i still havnt found it and ive asked them to return it, im still hopeing itll show up. i keep seeing things move out of the corner of my eye, and at night i see little blue blurs flying around. last night was the most curious part of the story which is why i need your help. every night we play mozart for the baby and last night at about midnight i heard like whispering voices singing along to the music in the bathroom. and out of no where the babys shampoo fell off the toilet lid and into the tub followed by a snickering laughter. ive never had this kind of thing happen before and i just want to make sure that i dont have a bad faery linguring around. is there anything i can do? ive already repeatedly said that “beings with bad intent are not welcome in my home” a friend of mine said to invite more good faeries adn that that’ll get rid of the bad ones. is there any truth to it? sorry about the long drawn out story!

Sounds like those could have been fairies but sometimes when you are in a dream state, your mind can conjure up things like this so we’re not really sure…
Susan says that fairies CAN mimic voices of humans if they want.

Hey Tiff,
Wow, it sure sounds like you have a long history of connection with fairies. I think the type of fairy you have is pixies and they can be quite mischievous. They don’t usually fall under the category of “bad fairy” but they can be annoying. We have had some similar experiences with them here including the missing glasses only in our case they were returned. However, I do have a missing remote that has never been found after 5 years.
Sometimes, if you give the pixies gifts (bribes) they will stop being so irritating. I would try honey, small bits of cake (fairy cake) butter, shiny objects, etc. Another thing–when you tell them they are not welcome, make sure you say it like a command, not a pleading request. You need to own your house and let them know it.
We suggest you copy the Fairy Protection Rune in the “Attracting Fairies” post here: http://www.realfairies.net/attracting-fairies.html
and place it in your home in areas that have been a problem for you.
I think your friend is right–attracting good fairies is always a help when you have bad fairies.

Hey… your writing really interesting things ^^, i have read your article on how to attract fairies and i did that… but i’m wondering… it doesnt matter where you live ? cause i don’t think this experiment will work if a person lives in a place where there are no fairies. There are few real elves here on earth now, all are gone cause no one is following the old ways anymore ^^.

Thanks for your question – it’s a great question…
Of course you are right, you can’t communicate with fairies if they aren’t nearby. The elves have told us that fairies are found all over the world but are less likely to be found in big cities where there is more cement than nature. So…if you live in a city, go to a natural part of the city like a park or woods and try and communicate with them in their element.
According to the elves, there are many fairy kind around who are trying to communicate with humans in order to save the earth.

I saw a little see through shape in front of me it was flying and in a few minutes it disappeared. I heard a sound of flapping wings it was weird it didn’t sound like a bird at all. Was it a fairy? Please write back about this soon.

Btw, there doesn’t have to be myths and legends of fairies in an area for them to be around, you just won’t know if they are there until you try to attract them. Hope that helps!

What you are describing could be a fairy or a few other things. I guess I would need to know how big the shape you saw was before I could make a guess.
You also asked “I live in a town and I live by a lot of trees and a creek. Would there be fairies there?” My answer would be yes, it is very possible to find lots of pixies and other fairies in natural areas like that.
Another question was: “please tell me what to do and if it doesn’t work does that mean I’m not really a believer?” No, it doesn’t mean you aren’t a believer. The thing is, it can take a very long time to get fairies to trust you enough to communicate and truthfully there is no guarantee that they ever will. All we can do is try. Personally, I think if you are truly patient and keep at it, they will eventually come around.

I’m sorry you are disappointed but fairies can be difficult to get in touch with sometimes. Also, it’s possible that they don’t know you are trying to communicate with them. All I can suggest is that you keep on trying if it is something that is important to you. Good luck…

Hi Natalie,
My entire family has always been spiritual so it was no surprise when my daughter (who is 6yrs.old)started questioning me about the “colours” in her room. It all started a couple weeks ago she would wake up at about 3 in the morning saying that “they” were scaring her. So when this would happen I would go and lay in her room with her. She asked me if I saw the “gold necklaces and keys” and that they would come out of the walls and hang from the ceiling etc. but she asked why she can’t touch them…anyway I asked her if she thinks they may be fairies and she supports that idea 100%. She says that the big fairies turn into “necklaces” I am assuming these colours are transforming into different shapes that she associates with necklaces…We have spoken to them asking them to come back later and let my daughter sleep but to no avail. I told her to come sleep in my room and she said that “they are in here too”. This is a nightly occurance now and I am wondering how we get them to stop waking her up. I don’t want them to go away I love the idea of her (my daughter)being in touch with them but the lack of sleep is affecting both of us.

O.k. i don’t know if these were fairy wings or dragon fly wings only.When I was at my friends house I found a pair of wings that looked like dragon fly wings.I don’t know how they got there.Are they just dragon fly wings?

Thanks for your story! Susan and I were talking and we are not exactly sure you have good fairies there. It really seems strange that fairies would scare a 6 year old–at least not the good ones. Can you tell me what it is that is scaring her? Have they talked to her at all. What do they do to wake her up? The other possibility is that this is a haunting situation – do you live in an old house? How long have you lived there, etc. More information might help us to help you.

Hi Tess,
Sorry you didn’t get a response right away but really there is no way to know if you had any fairies near by to notice the pretty present you made (it sounds really nice). It can take a L-O-N-G time, even months before you attract fairies and they trust you enough to respond. I know it is frustrating but the best thing right now is to try and be patient and keep at it.

Yes we live in an old townhouse, we have been here about 6 months. I actually had to cleanse the house when we moved in(smudge). I ask her why she was waking up, she said she would just open her eyes but couldn’t fall back asleep because of the colours. She says they are like dots but that they spray pink all over her room. I recently changed her room around and she said that before that they would spray red and now its pink.
I let her sleep in my bed one night a while back and she woke up in the middle of the night and ask why it was all red in my room!! My Aunt is a medium/Reiki master and she says that they are Fairies and that we should communicate with them. Last night before bed me and my daughter asked them not to bother her when she is sleeping etc. She actually slept through the night….as for me I think I am programmed now to wake up.What do you think? Do you need more information?

That’s so interesting–I needed the help of the elves for this one though. Here’s what they told me:
“If these are fairies, they are most likely the small, pixie type. Pixies are drawn to the energy level, laughter, and lightheartedness of human children–most adults are too serious in nature to draw their interest.”
“They fancy her so they are playing with her and it’s their energy moving around that she sees. They can change colors but they are choosing these colors because it either suits them or the child. They love the color red – it is one of the favorite colors of most fae so that is most likely why she is seeing that color. About the necklaces–sometimes pixies fly in a formation (similar to how birds fly in formation) which could possibly look like necklaces to a child. Obviously, they are putting on a show for her. ”
“This is just harmless fun – they are not dangerous. It’s simply a matter of them wanting to contact the child and not understanding the child’s wants or needs. Maybe you could set aside a time before the child goes to bed to play with them. After a little bit of play, let them know that now the child needs to sleep (as they themselves often do during the day) so please let her sleep.”

Hey sorry it took so long to look ive been super busy. My son hasnt been sleeping at night because something seems to be waking him up every hour or so. I talked with a friend of mine who practices wicka and she told me to meditate before I go to sleep to help me find whatever is bothering my son and last night I finally found it. Unfortunately your right it was a pixie and it kept poking and just really annoying my son. I told it to leave him alone and to leave my house and he didnt seem to even care that I was there. Today I put up the protection rune around my house like you said. So I guess we’ll see how things go tonight! Thanx for the help!

Actually I should probably correct that i’m not quiet positive if its a pixie or not. It was small about 4-5 inches tall, really skinny, blue, had pointy ears, a high pitched voice. It really didnt even look like a human it looked really mishevious almost evil like. is that what a pixie looks like i always thought they looked like faery’s but they were just more mishevious.
(o i got my watch back they put it in the dryer last weekend)

Glad you got your watch back! Susan and I were wondering if your fairy had wings? If not, it could be a brownie and they can be very mischievous. A brownie could look the way you described but pixies look like the traditional Victorian fairy (tinkerbell like). Susan mentioned that some of the activity you are experiencing may be because they want to get your attention and let you know that they are there. They may have something they want to communicate to you.

Yes Natalie, this is very helpful. I assumed she was seeing some sort of energy, and what a show they must be putting on for her!! What you said makes complete sense about them wanting to play with her….she is very intune with everything around her, she is very playful, I would actually describe her with a “fairy like spirit” if that makes sense to you.
We are going to attempt to build a little fairy house and make them feel welcome, do you have any suggestions for us?

The ones that i usually have visit me are definetely fairys. They have wings that look alot like monarch butterfly wings and are very “tinkerbell” like. Theyre always talking to me in my dreams usually about my garden and what theyd like to see there in the spring. this year red and pink tulips. But since these things showed up i havnt seen them for a while. Putting the protection rune seemed to work the baby slept last night. So hopefully the fairys come back!

hi! i have just recently been on ur webpage and have realy enjoyed it. ever since i was just about 5 years old ( am now 15) i have been in contact with faeries and other spirits. i live in Australia just out of Melborne in a rural setting with alot of bush land and lakes.only just recently have i been tunning into them a bit more and have been seeing them more often. my brother who is 7 also has had faerie encounters and says that they like to play tricks on him. just this morrning i heard my mum getting all angry because the tools in the tools box have been going missing. i’m starting to think that they are taking them. also the other day my dog started to chase something around the living room. my mum ( who dosnt realy believe in faeries) started asking “what is the dog chasing?” and i said “i think it might be a faerie?” could it have been? aso i like to hang up pictures on my wall and this one pic just kept falling down so i kept putting it back up again. then one day when i hung it back up i said ” now i would like to see u make it fall down.” and yes it fell down followed by little giggles! i am very honourd to have such a conection with them and will cherish it for the rest of my life.

oh i was also wanting to ask how big a faerie can get because i have seen quite larg ones out the corner of my eye. she was wearing purpal and was about 40cm to 50 cm tall but had no visibal wings

So nice to hear from you all the way from Melbourne! What you are describing sounds exactly like fairies and, yes, they certainly like to play with dogs and cats. We have a slightly overweight cat that they love to prod and poke to get him to chase them. I have been told that they do this to get him to lose some weight. Sometimes they are sitting on his back (judging from his reaction) and it is really amusing to watch (probably not that amusing for the cat, though!).
It sounds like you are really connecting with the fairies there – that is so great. I loved the story about the picture on your wall. Have you tried to talk to them? I think they might respond if you asked them some questions…
Oh, you asked about their size–depending on the type of fairy, they can range from very small (pixies)l to at least human sized (elves) so, yes those could be a type of fairy you are seeing out of the corner of your eye. Maybe you could ask them who they are next time you see them?

I was visiting Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine for the first time. It
was late morning, close to noon, I was walking a trail through Cathedral
Woods armed with my digital camera. I came upon a bend in the trail and hap-
pened to notice straight ahead through the woods, a beam of sunlight shining
into a small clearing in the trees. I was struck by the incredible beauty
of the moment. The green leaves all around me glowed, as if the trees were
electric. Sunlight dappled all around, and this beam of sunlight through
the tall trees shone brightly. It took my breath away and I simply paused and snapped a photo of it. Later when I viewed my photos from my trip, I remembered this moment vividly and searched for the photo. When I came upon it, I was struck by the beauty of the photo, but noticed nothing unusual. Several months later, reminiscing about the trip, I got out the photos and then
saw a figure in the center of the photo where the sun beam had shone so
intensely. It wore a brown cloth robe with hood up, blending in. Under the
hood, a face. It is uncanny, the figure is almost transparent. Could it be
a wood spirit disappearing or appearing in front of me? Or could it be a tree stump? Sceptics who have viewed it think that a person must have been standing there. I am certain that no person was standing there when I took this photo. There are many local tales of little people through out rural Maine, but surprisingly little info on the Internet. I have spent much time in the Maine woods since I was a child and have seen many things unexplained. These things were unexplainable,yet somehow I just knew that it was all natural. I have always had a vague awareness of the presence of beings in
the woods, such as fairies or little people.When I was a Child I believed there to be Native American Spirits in the woods behind my house, and I accepted their presence without question. I have always had a deep respect of the woods, but never any direct contact with anything like this.

Isn’t Cathedral Woods the place where people have been building fairy houses for years now? I think that is where Tracy Kane got her inspiration for “The Fairy Houses Series” too. Sounds like a fascinating place to visit…
I understand what you mean about the sacredness of the woods – I live in Northern Michigan (Traverse City) where we are surrounded by lots of beautiful woods and water and I have always felt the respect and reverence that you speak of.

hi me again! i have tryed talking with them and they do seam to respond. usualy when i see them is when i sing to them. they have told me that they like when i play music and sing to them and they all seam very friendly and very curious. just the other day i was looking at the flowers in my backyard and i put my head in the bush to smell the flowers and a faerie appeared and touched my face! it was amazeing! But i am still hopeing to contacted them more. maybe i will try leaving them some food?

Sounds like you are doing really great, especially for how long you have been at it. Sure, you could offer them some gifts, they would love that. Keep the music and singing going, though, sounds like that is really attracting them. You can ask them questions too and see if they answer. I’m thinking maybe one of them will try to bond with you and connect on a deeper level soon. Please let us know how it’s going!

In April I prayed that Christ would allow me to see a Fae if they existed.. I needed to know . I had Native American friends who had positive experiences with them, so I put it before God.
Then one month later, this happens:
My encounter with a fae happened this past May 31st on Monday. I was off from work. The night before our family got into a large negative quarrel, and it left me depressed on my day off.
I sat in the bathroom staring listlessly in my messed up hair when I noticed a small delicate, beautiful face looking at me with empathy in her eyes.
She didnt seem to notice that I noticed her. She was beautiful. Her eyes were not human, but were all soft dark brown with no irises. Her face was light brown, and she had high cheekbones, high brow bones with wide set eyes that sweetly tilted up , delicate nose and mouth and it appeared her hair was pulled off her face if she had hair.. (I think she did)
I couldnt tell if she had wings as my hair was a mess and blocked all of her but her face.
She was so focused on my sadness that she didnt seem to be aware that I was gawking at her in shock. Then she did notice and she got this uncomfortable look on her face and dissappeared.
I was struck by her empathy .. She was totally mirroring my sadness. After that I left the bathroom happy, and besides myself, but I couldnt tell anyone in the family who I saw.. Noone in my family would understand. To this day noone else knows except friends on the internet who are open.
I knew that day God answers prayers.. and that there is more out there that we have no idea involving this beautiful planet God created.

This is such a wonderful story – thank you for sharing it with us. We were wondering how big your fairy was and if she appeared to be hovering off the ground, etc. Susan reminded me that some fairies tend to be shy by nature so that would explain her discomfort.
Your wrote in another post about creating a little retreat for fairies – that’s a great idea. The Elves suggested that building a pixie house would make them feel safe and less uncomfortable. They think you can communicate with your fairy if you want to – she obviously is very concerned about you and would be open to that. Have you tried talking to her?

Her face was about the size of a dime.. maybe a tad bit larger than that, or I’d, say., 2 Centimeters.
She wasn’t hovering- It was more like she was resting in my hair (I have thick hair… the hairdressers always joke about how my hair dulls their scissors..lol)
She was very delicate looking.
I have been talking to her in my mind and out loud at times when alone. And I remembered when I saw her that she had a shyness and sweetness about her.
A friend of mine who is clairivoyant and does readings and attunements, etc, was giving me a reading, and while meditating, she told me she met the fairy I encountered. That fairy told her she is “a helper”
I believe her because it is in line with the humility I saw in her.
She showed my friend exactly where I live and my friend had never seen my home or neighborhood before.
Maybe this fairy is a spirit guide.. or a type of guardian angel? I heard a person could have not only Angel guardian angels, but also fairies can minister like that too.
I made alot of little fairy cottages out of plastic houseplant containers, and a Fairy spa made out of one of those cardboard berry containers, and I hot glue gunned seashells all over it.
Before I encountered her, I actually bought a fairy cottage at a holistic fair because I thought it was adorable.
I will follow the elves suggestion and make a special Pixie place for her

hi!i have been talking to the faeries alot more lately and they have started to connect with me in my dreams and show me what they look like. in my dreams there is always a beautiful little faerie who sits on my sholder and tells me about their world. i leart that her name is anemah( yes a little strange) but she is very knowing and wise. she wears a purple dress and has amazing blue eyes just like her wings. the other night in my dreams they told me a little poem that would get rid of the bad faeries. it when something like this. “those who want to cause us harm and make our lives a mess, both on the ground and in the pipes leave now for ur not welcome here so go go go!” it was pretty amazing for them to tell me this and it seams that they are really wanting to protect me and let me know that they are around! oh and the faeries are now takeing the forks from the kitchen draws! ( its kina funny)!

wow! AMAZING! that was also going to be one of my questions if the fae could contact other fae and people if they new their names and i guess they can! i was just out side and at the moment the garden is looking horrible because it has been so hot, and i started to cry, just then a little tear fell on my hand and i said ” oh dont cry to” i guess they really love our garden and are trying so hard to keep it alive but we cant water our garden because of water restriction but i am whether they like it or not but i guess its ok seeing as we have a water tank. but i think that without the faeries our garden would be just a dust ball so i thank them everyday. they are very special!

Hi, ok, I’m not really sure what this was, but it was the thing that made me think there’s something else out there, and years later believe in fairies. It was many years ago. I was about 9, I think… well, I was in a tent tring to sleep a nap, it was around 4pm and it was very light outside. I was being forced to sleep but wasn’t sleepy at all. And then I saw the weirdest thing: it was like a little thing jumping outside the tent. I must say, here there aren’t any kind of small animals or anithing like that, and besides it was the middle of the day and the strangest thing is that there were two of them, just jumping around. So I went outside but didn’t see a thing, animal or fairy… I don’t know what it was, but I was 9, I’m 22 right now and I remember it as it was yesterday… do you think it was an encounter or something completely different?

Thanks for the description of your fairy – wow, she does sound so tiny and delicate!
I would agree that she sounds connected to you much like a guardian or helper would be and I can easily imagine her working with you in that capacity. That’s great that you are talking to her and I think she will eventually be able get through so you can hear her in your head.
That’s so interesting that you had the fairy cottage before you knew you had a fairy! I’m sure she will love it. Using sea shells to make your fairy spa is a great idea!

Well…I wasn’t there but what you are describing does sound more than a bit unusual. I suppose it could have been an animal or two that left quickly (or flew?) when you went outside the tent. On the other hand, fairies are often found in nature and they could easily have been frolicking around trying to get your attention. They also love to pull pranks on humans so that could have been what they were up to.
From what you wrote, it seems like you thought at the time that there was something really weird going on so I am leaning strongly towards this being a fairy encounter. And, you are right, there IS something else out there, a lot more than most of us can see.

Wow, just like I thought, one fairy has come forward to work closely with you – how wonderful. It is really significant that she told you her name because they don’t always trust humans enough to do that. I like her name, by the way even though it isn’t something we are used to hearing… and, you are right (thanks Lisa), you can summon a fairy if you know their name – that knowledge gives you a bit of a special power.
I love the poem and, as you said, they are really protective of you and that is also really good.
Very sad about your garden, hope it recovers soon. You aren’t anywhere near the big wildfire are you?

no we arnt very close to the fires but we have alot of smoke but we are safe. that kinda made me think would the faeries have gotten out in time to save themselves from the fires or not? i’m kinda worried. i mean alot of people said it came to fast and thats why alot have died so i was wondering about the faeries .

The fairies would have been warned well before and would easily have escaped but they will have to migrate away from the burned out area until it recovers. So sad…hope the area heals soon.

Hello. When I was thirteen, there were some occurrences at my home that we attributed to ghosts; however, one of the postings made me question one of the incidents.
I had been seeing white blurs from the corner of my eye for months, and one day, I left to see a movie with my friend for the day. We lived in a rural community in the midwest. There were no other children who live around our house. In fact, our house was pretty isolated in that we had three acres and a farm next door and a large field between the us and the other neighbor.
While I was gone, my mother was napping on the couch, and my father was napping in the bedroom. She said that she heard giggling coming from the air that was really light sounding, but lasting and distinct. It was not quick because she woke up and listened to it for a period of time.
My mother figured it was something supernatural, but it sounded like they were trying to mimic my friend and myself. Later, my father, a skeptic of anything supernatural, said matter of factly that I must have came home because he heard us laughing and giggling. My mother knew that this was not the case, and she was right.
My friend and myself were not home at any point during the day and did not return until the evening, far after the event. He would never mention it again, but the fact that they both heard it makes me wonder now if those were fairies laughing, being pranksters? Or, if it was my original assumption that it was a haunting type of incident.
If you have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, I just found your site and have really enjoyed reading the posts. I wanted to find some place to go to figure out what I have seen. I have always had a sense that there were other things in the world we shared that we just could not always see. From the time I was young I’ve seen beings that I had no real idea what they were. Most are human size, with somewhat human features, but not human. One is a male, I’ve seen often on my ranch ( I live on a large horse ranch in Calif. Central Valley) anyway, I just catch glimpses of him, but he has almost a animal like face (dog like almost., odd) , but I have never been able to see much as he wears a large flat brimmed hat. It’s just a sense I have. He seems very curious. One other I’ve seen is human size, but looks like he’s made of wood, I used to call him the stick man, but I’ve only seen him twice, in a pasture near some old walnut trees. The others have been more human looking, but just out of place, and wearing very different clothing (some with bright colors, others only greenish browns) Al of these sighting have only lasted a split second and when we made eye contact, it was like the “deer in the headlights” reaction. I got the sense they were just as shocked that I could see them as I was for seeing them. They just froze in motion, like if they didn’t move I wouldn’t see them, then they were gone. Does this sound normal or am I just nuts?
I have sensed the little tiny ones as well, but not as often. (or maybe I’ve just not noticed them because they are so small) I also have recently had something hanging around my house. A little fellow, about the size of a three year old child, but not a child. I catch glimpses of it on my porch looking in the windows, out of the corner of my eye when I’m with the horses at the barn, when I’m in my garden. A few nights ago, I saw him in my kitchen, peeking at me from around the corner. i don’t feel this little one is a threat, it seems just very, very curious. None of my animals seem bothered at all by it. What is it? I’ve looked at lots of books but can’t find anything that matches the descriptions of the things I’ve seen. If you have an idea, I would love to know.
Ok, sorry that was such a long post, but I’ve never found anyone I can ask? (who wont think I’m crazy anyway) lol or maybe I am.

i am not sure but yesterday i was in my bed sitting up reading in the middle of the bed and out of the coner of my eye i could see my velvet make up chair its quite big i sit little teddies in it and doll clothes (no make up) and on it in pattern i saw a blueish white light flickring around it i said helo cause i was slitley freaked out but nothing came back so i dont know.

Tess, that does sound like a faery. I’ve been reading other people’s accounts of seeing blue/white lights like that. It’s easy to second guess what we see and think it was in our imagination. You didn’t expect to see that light in the first place, so I would bet a Faery did make itself known to you.

Thanks for your fascinating post…sorry for the delay in answering you but we had to get some information from the Elves about this…
The first one you mentioned that you see quite often with the flat brimmed hat could be a rather dark/dangerous type of being but we aren’t really sure from the description you gave. Can you tell us any more about him? What was he doing when you saw him? Does he know you are there and can see him? How often do you see him?
The tree like being is probably a dryad or tree spirit and they are not dangerous unless you are doing something destructive to the trees. These guys are often appreciative of humans who respect trees but don’t otherwise seek out humans to interact with.
The other human sized beings that you see–the ones looking out of place, etc. are probably elves. Can you tell us what you see them doing most often?
Now for the three foot tall being – it is probably something the Elves refer to as a Grendalin (not sure about the spelling) which is a fairly friendly house fairy. You will often find these guys where you find elves since they often live together or near each other. Does this one wear striped stockings or other stripes in his clothing? If he does, that is a sure sign it is a Grendalin. We were told that if he is in your house, chances are you have some elves that are there and are trying to communicate with you.
It’s an incredible gift you have to be able to see such beings! Hope this information was helpful to you – please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for your post and your great question…
I talked this over with Susan we think that it could have been fairies but we really can’t rule out a haunting type of situation. Susan mentioned that the history of the home and surrounding area may provide some clues that could indicate a possible haunting. For example, if there was a death of a child or children near that property, etc. it could be some type of haunting but, without knowing that information, we really can’t say which one is more likely to be the case.

We looked at it and no, we really don’t think this is genuine–it seemed to us like they have used a flash light to create their fairy effects. The other thing to consider is, why, if they have lots of fairies in their garden, did they wait until dark to video them? Maybe because it is easier to fake it in the dark. Just our opinion…

hey…. um after i read this yesterday wen i was getting ready for bed i looked down to pick something up and above me i saw a shineing gold light! i looked up and it zoomed away…. today i saw a light blue one in my 5th period and also since yesterday i’ve been seeing thing moving in the corner of my eye…. last night i tryied dreaming of them but it didnt work…… also 1 more thing. i have a 4leaf clover…. that does that help me see? where can i find a holy rock?

Hi, I would just like to put forward my experience from last week. I’m 26 and have recently gone through some rather bad times where i hit “rock bottom”. Anyway, what i saw the other day, i’m not 100% sure what it was. I’ve always been in touch with the spiritual world, but never thought that maybe what i’ve been seeing all these yrs is from the fairy world…. Ok so my dicription, i had just left work, when i was walking to my car and saw a fawn sort of colour thing in the corner of my eye. It looked like a bird or something, but when i double checked there was nothing there at all. It kinda looked like it had feathers, but not quite feathers. Weird I know, but i just thought i’d mention it here. Oh and where i saw it, i was right beside a garden. Thanks

Yes, that gold light and zooming action does sound like a typical pixie-type fairy. There are also pixies that emit a blue light so it seems like you have seen some fairies!
Yes, traditional wisdom has it that a four leaf clover can not only bring good luck but can also provide the owner with second sight – the power to see fairies. I’ve never had anyone report that a four leaf clover helped them but maybe it worked that way for you–very interesting!
Holey stones (stones with a natural hole in the center) are rare and I have never seen any for sale. The best place to look for them would be near water.

It was a little bit smaller than a soccer ball, it was 2 o’clock in the afternoon (australian time). I have recently started a job, where my boss has been talking to me about going to crystal healing. I had been thinking about it, and putting it off for a few weeks. I didnt mention what i had saw to anybody, until the next day when i actually went into the crystal healing shop. They help ppl find their inner self etc etc. I explained what i saw to the man at the shop, and he said that it was probably a fairy/ pixie (I cant remember the name he called them, as i’d never heard of them b4). He said he wouldnt of known about them neither until a someone he knew at the crystal healing place told him about them, now he sees them everywhere, even running across the ceiling??? I spoke with him for a while, and he knows that i’m in touch, and that I just have to go with it, and not be scared. He also gave me a broucher with a number of ppl on it who do all sorts of things, from crystal healing, to card reading, councilling etc. He said that when i got home I should choose somebody who stood out to me, out of all the ppl i chose some twins, who would first do a reading for me, and then half an hour of crystal healing. That afternoon I told my boss who I had chosen and she said that they are the guys who deal with the fairies etc, I had no idea, kinda freeky lol. I havent yet gone to see them, but one day, when it feels right i will go in. I guess thats why i have written to you, to get a better understanding. Thank you so much for your time

hi! its me again! um today my fav. jacket was COATED in silver glitter wen there is none in my house (only pink blue and purple…) it wasnt there yesterday and on my door step there was a purple fake flower….. wen my brother walked out 1st he didn’t see it but wen i went through the door it appeared…. and i had it the whole day in my hand and i could SEE better(the faeries) do u think its a gift from the faeries? last night i put out some shiny beads as an offering and they’re still there also i saw a red, light blue, and gold faery today…. i was startled wen i saw a pure black one……. thanx

Hello again, and thank you for getting back to me. About the one with the hat…I have only really been able to make out his face one time, and when I said dog like, I didn’t mean with a dog’s face, but just had those sort of odd angles, and seemed very pointed features. However, again it was a very short glimpse. His hat hides a lot and he has this long dark, jaket sort of thing on, hmm and jeans (at least it seems like jeans). I usually have seen him at a bit of a distance, maybe 30-40 yards away, and always out near our horse barns or near the fields, never near my house. I have never felt threatened, but we used have a worker here who saw him twice in the early morning when he cleaned stalls and was very spooked by the experience and didn’t want to talk about.
The ones that seem out of place, seem to just be going about daily life. I saw a woman with a young child walking down my road when I was driving, she looked very nervous. I remember passing her then looking in the rear view mirror thinking I should stop and offer help, but she was gone, like never being there. Another time I saw small group, maybe 4, on a hiking trip in the mountains. I walked around the bend in the trail and they were just standing there, looking pretty shocked I was there. I went to say hello, but when I blinked they weren’t there. I assumed I was just tired and seeing things. I told my friend who was behind me on the trail a ways, but he hadn’t seen anyone.
The little guy in/near my house seems to wear tannish/brown clothing (I just catch fast glimpes of him) and not sure of the stockings. I have been too astonished to glimpse him to notice. :0)
Yes, I feel someone is trying to communicate with me. Again, I don’t feel threatened by any of them. Sometimes I find they just seem really curious. I have a lot of animals here (horses, dog, cats and a lot of wild life here) does that make a difference? Anyway, yes, too, I do feel that is a special thing to be able to have any contact with them.

hey. me, and 2 friends went into a piano room in the dark but we could still see…. we sat down held hands and said that chant (good faeriy folk wild….) and we all opened our eyes and we were shocked! there was black and gold faries every where! i couldnt see one cause it was on my nose…. but they were every where! it was so cool! they were on our heads! but we couldnt feel them….. they were so pretty! plz respond soon!

ummm srry to bother u but um. last night i was staring at the crack in my door cause my cats always go in and out of my room and this is the scary part. i can c da stairs and da hall way from my bed and all of a sudden it got really quiet and from down down stairs i hear loud foot steps go up and creaking then it started 2 go up the steps to the hall way and nothing was there. a min later it got closer. i heard heavy breathing then it stopped for a few min. then random noises that freaked my out then it all stopped. 30 min later i finaly fell asleep. wen i take my dog out at night i hear sticks break and i see this darkness and i blink and its gone! now im sorta scared of goin out side out night….. OH! i forgot…. im 12 years old, middle school 7th grade and i see glimpes of faeries. is there any way i could talk to the faries? one night i heard all these voises calling my name and i kept saying stop but it didnt and the voises just started to giggle! finaly (10 min later) it stoped. is there a way that i can get a faeriy not to run/dash away wen i look. they hide behind stuff in my room…… thanx! also i’ve been finding more of the items. so far its a purple fake flower, a red bead(i dont have any), a green bead (not same tipe i have). and now somethings nocking on my wall!!!! im sorta scared… it wont stop! :’( it sounds like… wn some one is making those popping sounds with there mouth and its coming from behind me…. but nothings there and it just stopped… o.o -destinee

Um, this doesn’t really have to do with a siting, per say, but just a general question after reading about other people’s since I’m going to try and attract fae once it gets more spring-ish about my house.
It seems like all bad fae have a black color to them. It’s disappointing to me, because black is my favorite color and one I wear on a daily basis (call it goth if you want, I just call it me -__-”) I’m wondering would my tendancies in attire even attract bad fae? And if all “black” fae are necessarily bad.

i posted on the frequently asked questions page before. i believe in fairys. i saw one once. she was light, sparkley orange…like a peachy sort of color. it was near this huge bush that grows pretty flowers on it in the spring and summer. i saw the fairy last summer. she was awesome!! i made a house for her and her friends and left out a bowl of honey after that. then, the bowl and house disappeared 2 weeks later. then it was winter and from then on, i havent seen one…yet, that is! i also talk to them outloud. i’m not a perfect person but i told them that i think they are fantastic creatures of the world. i hope they don’t think i am bad. i am going to look for them today.

I was reading your posts and something about Tia’s description of the hatted, angular faced man reminded me of a couple of accounts I read of ‘Pan’.
There is one account of a ‘Pan’ type character in “the Magic of Findhorn” book, and another in the “Elves of Lily Hill”.
I am sure these are others, but these are the ones with which I am familiar. I have had no experience with ‘Pan’ types, but have seen enough lights in my garden to believe in faerie folk.

I have to say that some of the things you mentioned sound more like a haunting type of situation rather than fairies–heavy breathing and footsteps are classic ghost type behaviors. Do you live in an older house?
When you say you see glimpses of fairies, could you give us a bit more detail about what exactly you are seeing? Sounds very interesting but I want to make sure we actually have fairies here and not human spirits. Maybe you have both but either way, I don’t think you have anything to worry about as far as your safety goes.

Interesting questions….
Any fairy presences that emit a black or dark grey color are not human friendly – in fact they generally wish we didn’t exist and would like to eliminate humans if they could.
More than the color you choose to wear, I would say it is the purpose behind the clothes you choose to wear that would be significant. If someone is wearing clothes that are intended to radiate negative energy or inspire fear, then that would attract negative spirits…

I love your website is so informative.
I do believe in fairies because when I was 7 years old in South America, I had some experienced with them. What I saw in my garden was like tiny butterflies and I could hear them speak to me in my head. They were so happy flying around me and telling that they wanted to play with me.
However, I remembered that they did not want to be touched, and the had a lot energy that I could not keep up.
Now the funny thing is in South America we never heard about fairies. So at the time I tought they were tiny angels.
Now I’m in my 40′s and I really would like to see them again.

wow! i made up this song and wen i played it on my piano all of a sudden i see all these sparkling lights partner up and dance! i was so amazed! (there good dancers!!!!) but wen i stoped most of them just slowly faded away and 1 stayed. it wnt up to my face (she was soooo pretty!) and she smiled and danced a few sec more and then she faded….. then i said should i play it again? and the little faery appered in my face again and she smiled and nodded yes so i played and it was so amazing and so awsome! i showed my friend and since it was a very musical room(orcestra room at my school) they were every where! she saw then to and i stopped got up and we danced 2! :3

Dear Natalie, I just finished reading the Elves of Lily Hill Farm!! I wonder if the Elves of Fynn are familiar with Alvey and the other two Elves in that book.
Well that Being that Penny- the author of Elves of Lilly Hill Farm– encountered was a faun. He had horns (like a goat) on the top of his head and she saw hooved feet. I think the reason that the poster saw that individual with a straw hat was because he also is a faun, and he was covering his faun horns.
The faun that Penny encountered gave her tips on how to prune the grape vines the right ways for better yielding. He also tried to give her moral support when she was depressed with herself over offending the elves.
I learned Pan isn’t the only faun.. .From what I have been reading on a paranormal encounter website, some people occasionaly are shocked to see these Beings in groups near roadsides, etc. and they do seem to all have ordinary human shirts on.. like flannel shirts, etc.

Thanks so much for contributing this information – I really appreciate it! Wow, I wasn’t sure if anyone could help me out with this and there you were, that’s great.
From what you have related, it sounds very possible that Tia may have a faun as well as some elves on her ranch. Very interesting about the human clothing. I remember thinking how odd it was when the Elves told us that they choose clothing from all eras of history when it suits their fancy, even including our modern day jeans. Now it appears that they aren’t the only ones that do this.
I asked the Elves if they knew of the Elves of Lily Hill Farm and right away they told me they were part of an elven settlement in South Haven, Michigan. Now, even though we live in Northern Michigan, neither Susan or I knew where South Haven was. Beyond that, I didn’t even know where the Lily Hill Farm was located so I looked them up on the internet and found that they are located in Lawton, MI, only 20-25 miles from South Haven (thank you Google Maps). So, from the sounds of it, there is a fairly large settlement of elves in the South Haven area, spreading out at least to Lawton. The Elves of Fyn do know who they are and do meet up with them on some occasions although the contact does not seem to be frequent. They told me that they belong to the Group of Eight and that they are generally working on the same things as they are, just in a different area.
So very interesting–thanks for asking that question!

hey natalie,
i have had another fairy encounter that happened last night. it was at 7:00 and it was unsually dark and warm out. well, i was near the bush where all the fairys in my yard seem to hang out. i started crying, (i am such a BABY!), because i have been having a tough life lately. when i finally calmed down, i said, “i just wish things were better!” and i saw these orbs come out of the bushes, (i couldn’t see them very well though but i knew it was the fairys). i felt warmth and love all around me. i heard a voice in my head telling me it was going to be fine and to hang in there. i went back inside after that and went to bed. i don’t seem to connect with them in dreams, sadly. i usually remember my dreams but right now, it’s kinda chaotic so i don’t get much sleep. i’ll keep trying for a dream from them though.
i have never had a connection with the elves…idk much about them.
well, yeah. thats another fairy encounter of mine.

p.s: also, destinee, thats so cool! thats happened to me too. i was playing this very short piano peice, (i’m not good with music but i try, lol), and i saw these sparkley orbs everywhere, (i usually see them in that form). they come from this huge bush that blooms flowers in the summer. well, anyway, i played the piano piece and they came all around me. i guess they really like music.

p.s.s: also, my older brother plays guitar really well. sadly, he doesn’t believe in fairys. but, it’s funny to see him outside playing guitar with about 10 fairys around him! he doesn’t notice them, lol. humorous and sad at the same time.

OH! um i made this piano piece up and m and a few friends r now calling it the faery song cause wen i play it the room all of a sudden fills with faerys and they dance all around! its so cool! but evr since i made this song like for example right now a faery is sofly tugging on my pagama pants leg…… but i can c them MUCH clearer now……. also about my house…. its not old its only about 5-6 years old….. i live in a VERY quiet peaceful place and there is woods in the back. wen we 1st moved here there was kayotes…o.o but the knoking on my wals stopped wen i put the protective rune on my wall. um can i email you? or u can email me (an one can on this web site if you want to talk about faerys!!!!!

It’s nice you live by the woods–where do you live? I think the more wild a place is–the more nature you can encounter–the easier it is to attract fairies. Wow, the knocking on the walls would be a bit of a problem… I’m so glad you put the protection symbol on your wall – sounds like you really needed it! Good job with that.

I’m sorry you are having a tough time lately too! I absolutely believe that the fairies were talking and comforting you because this has happened to me (more than once). I would take their word for it –I think they know that things are going to get better and you just have to hang in there. It’s really nice that you were able to connect with them when you needed it – I’m really glad.

Hi natalie,
I was doing research for a modern fairytale story, when I came across your website. I read a few of the sightings, and became very intrigued. I also read the blog about how to communicate with the fairies. I decided to try some of the things suggested. I tried to talk to them asking if any were there if they would please come to visit me. I left out a few things in my room as gifts for them (glass beads, a necklace, ect.) after that i went downstairs for a few minutes, and came back up. To my surprise, as i was walking by my room, out of the corner of my eye I saw something hovering next to the television (where i left the gifts). It appeared to be dressed in brown and white. I scrambled into the room, but as i did, whatever it was just seemed to disappear. I checked to see if anything had been taken, and i found that one of the glass beads was gone! I live in a heavily wooded area, and most of my back yard is a garden. Would this be a reason to why i caught glimpse of (what i belive was one) so quickly?

Great story – thanks for posting it! First of all, I do agree that you did have a fairy visitor. And, yes, I do think that your home being located in a wooded area with gardens around probably did speed up the process because you probably didn’t have to attract them, they were undoubtedly nearby already. Still, you did everything just right by talking to them and leaving them some gifts and that also had a lot to do with your results. How very exciting for you! Could you tell me any more about your visitor? How big was he/she? I know you just caught a glimpse but any details would be great.
If you want, it might be good to talk to them again and tell them that you are glad they came for a visit and hope they like the beads that you left for them. You could also maybe mention that they don’t need to be afraid of you and then let them know that you are a friend, you respect them, and would love to connect with them when they feel comfortable. Could be a real interesting time for you!

Sorry, I kinda got real busy for a bit there….
So, you asked how to attract elves–well a big thing that will attract them is your (anyone’s) desire to care for and heal the earth. Lisa A. has a comment here, #6 where she lists some of the things she does for our earth–they loved this! Another thing you can do to attract them is to have the fairy flag where they might be able to see it so they will know you are interested in them and would be open to hearing from them.
Like other fairy-types, they prefer more natural, wild places or suburban places with gardens and lots of care and respect for nature. As you might imagine, they don’t really care for places with too much industry or concrete.
They are human sized so they might be easy to spot
. But actually, they can be seen as mists and glowing areas too, just like pixies.

hey its me! i havent writen for ages1 i was just wanting to say hi and say that anemah says hi too! i have latly been in touch with nature some more and have acctuay been speaking to some dryads in my garden. we have alot of trees and i like to talk alot so i have been talking to them.they are amazingly wise. The other day i was walking down to my willow tree who i talk to stacks and it wasnt windy but when i said ‘hey its me’ the tree started to shake. It was really cool. I have also found it easier since meetin anemah, to see faeries and hear them too.the other night i was out side and they were al playing music. they are AMAZING and extreamly talented.

Hi tess,
We have a post here where we go into detail on how to see fairies so maybe go there and give those suggestions a try. Not everyone can see fairies, especially the way they are in movies, etc.. Lots of people can sense them, hear them and interact with them even if they can’t see them quite so clearly.

The info was very useful for my story. i’ve finally come out of writers block! yay!
The fairy i saw was about eight inches tall. i think it was female, because what it was wearing looked kind of like a dress. I did try telling them that i was a friend, and that i respect them.
This morning i woke up, and three sections of my hair were tangled into these crazy knot things. Usually my hair is easily manageable in the morning, but it took me FOREVER to get these out. It was sort of like my hair was actually tied into knots over and over again. i even considered cutting them out :\
Do you think that this could have been done by a fairy?

Hi Jesi,
That absolutely could have been done by fairies – in fact they love knots and there have been actual stories of them braiding grass and knotting a horses mane very intricately overnight. If I remember correctly, the Spiderwick Chronicles (which is supposed to be based on truth but who really knows?) show this happening to the sister, only much more extreme. The Elves have told me that they were the inspiration for the celts and their celtic knotwork so I guess this is deeply ingrained in their psyche.
You definitely have their attention. I don’t think these are bad fairies but you might want to post the fairy protection rune over a window or door in the room where you sleep – you can find it here. I think this is just a harmless (? sort of, anyway
) prank that they love to pull. It would probably be a good idea to tell them that you wish they wouldn’t do that and suggest something else they can do instead.

They knot horses manes too?
I am around horses constantly, and there is one horse that lives out in the big field where i ride who’s whole mane has been tangled. His name is camelot, and he’s very old. His owners abandoned him at the barn a few years ago. Other than paying the board, they never come up to visit him.
Back to the knots though- they go throughout his entire mane, and now that i think about it, they are similar to the knots that i had in my hair. Other girls at the barn, and myself have tried numerous times to get the knots out, with no avail. It’s like sections of his mane are twisted, and then knoted, and then at the end there is a loop. He’s been nicknamed the schizo horse because he’s more spooky than any of the other horses. he always seems to freak out when nothing is around. I think fairies may be messing with the poor old guy!

That’s sad about Camelot…he needs someone to care about him no matter what age he is but at least it sounds like the people at the barn are taking good care of him. About his mane being knotted – yep, it sure sounds like fairy mischief to me. Does he have particularly pretty mane–when it isn’t knotted, that is? Maybe you could ask the fairies not to mess with the poor old guy next time you are there.
Also, you asked about fairies stealing people away. Now, I don’t know about recent times but there is one very well known case from Scotland in 1691 involving a Reverend Robert Kirk. Some people believe that Kirk, who wrote an important book on fairies called “The Secret Common-wealth of Elves, Fauns and Fairies” (which is available to read online here) was taken by the fairies. You can read more about his fascinating story here.
Hope this helps your research – there’s probably more recent incidents that may be found somewhere online but I don’t really know any specifics. sorry.

Natalie, thank you for your reply!! I was choked up a bit after reading that last part– I sent a mental thought to them to tell them ..”the Kindness comes from God inside of me” . They also are very kind!! God bless them and hugs to them!
I had an experience with Alvey and the other elves after reading the Lily Hill Farm book. I emailed the author who told me she is still keeping in touch with the Elves– for years now.
I moaned to her how my father frustrates my organic efforts by using chemical bug sprays and weed killers on our yard, etc. I told her when he passes on, all that stuff is going to be tossed out.
A few days later, I receive this catalog in the mail on all alternative Eco-friendly fertilizers, bug sprays and weed killers! I emailed Penny back and she told me that through her experiences , Alvey and the other elves do work like that!– I knew it was them who pulled strings for that catalog to come in the mail, since I normally dont order gardening things.
A woman I know who sees peoples guardian angels and faeries –and who does paintings of them, did a painting of an elf she saw in her mind’s eye- who looked very much like the Elves Penny drew in her book. Their eyes seem to be very big and sparkly.

Regarding Jesi’s and Camelot’s incident with the knots., I found the Fae do love playing with our hair – and Pixies love horse’s manes too.
In the book , A Faerytale, by Ron Cordes , he mentions how the visiting Fae in his home have a blast playing with his and his wife’s hair. He woke up with two horns on his head from how they twisted pieces of his hair as a joke!
Before reading his book , I asked him to tell the faes there to feel free to come over my home anytime to visit. He suggested I leave out some snacks for them.
That very night, I awoke to my polartec blanket wrapped around my head to look like the St. Francis of Assisi figurine I have near my bed! Also I heard the name of one of the faeries he mentioned in his blog spoken to me in my mind before waking up.
I emailed him, and he confirmed that this name was one of the fairies who visited him. He said the gnomes probably did the physical lifting of the blanket while the faerie directed them. Later I read his book, and sure enough, that faerie was mentioned in his book. She is very shy, he said.
Wow, I was staring at myself in the mirror over how clever they were in wrapping it so nicely! They do have a great sense of humor

P.S. forgot to mention about the pixies. Somewhere online I read where Pixies love playing with horses manes,and someone actually saw them having fun on one horse. They also love playing with housepets as well from what I heard.
I read that they are guardians of the animals– is that right?
It was confirmed to me last Fall when I went to a holistic fair to have a faery reading done. The woman told me that the pixies were jumping off of the mushrooms in our yard teasing our dog.– and our dog really does charge after the mushrooms alot. It’s the cutest thing to watch, but I feel sorry for the mushrooms!
Well after this woman told me that, I reflected on it when I got home. I thought how cheeky and mischievous these pixies must be to tease our pup Mindy– when almost as an interruption to my thoughts, a foreign thought interjected: “We have to do that because you humans never give her enough attention!”
I felt convicted — it is true, poor Mindy does get bored alot and noone really pays her enough attention.
I was thrilled that A pixie spoke to me!! That day was the only day I was able to hear them that clearly- after that holistic fair. I can’t wait for the next Fair this June.

You are very welcome…again I have to say that the Elves are very cheered by your commitment to helping the earth.
I love your fairy/elf encounters! I told Susan about Alvey and the catalog you got and she thought how elf-like it was. You know, just give them a little opening and they will make the best of it! And the story about your blanket being wrapped around your head was very funny!
I learned about fairies and their penchant for braiding in the wonderful documentary called “The Fairy Faith.” In it, they have people relating stories about finding a horse’s mane braided and some type of wild grass braided, I believe. It’s fascinating that you and Jesi have had similar experiences!
It’s interesting how the elves in Penny’s book and the one the artist drew looked similar – very validating, isn’t it? I don’t think the Elves of Fyn look the same as the Lily Tree Hill Elves but I have heard that there are different types of elves.
The book you mentioned, A Faerytale, by Ron Cordes, sounds very interesting. I looked for it online at Amazon, etc. but it doesn’t seem to be in print right now –I’ll check again later.
You said “I read that they are guardians of the animals– is that right?”–I asked one of the Elves here and he said that they work and live closely with nature but the actual growing of plants and animals are in the domain of the devas. I think they look out for nature but that isn’t their actual “job.”
Poor Mindy! Our gray cat Blueberry knows exactly how she feels…they chase him mercilessly. They were at it today as a matter of fact but I stopped them this time because he needed a break! The Elves said the pixies do it to keep him in shape but I think he’d rather be a little plus sized and be able to sleep some more
. They probably know best….

I have another funny incident to share with you! I dont believe I posted this yet, but it happened in March.
Alot of times when it’s cold out, I will invite any faery type beings and elves to come in from outside and stay near me for energy while I sleep. (of course I make the condition that they must love God first– and I also have the faery amulet warning off bad faes in both sides of my bedroom)
Well, I went to sleep with my make-up still on one night and when I was half asleep/half awake, I could feel little footsteps on my bed covers– like someone small was walking on them . I also felt the presence of alot of other similar beings around my bed and they seemed to be chatting amongst themselves.
Then I heard telepathically, “Grey eyes is waking up” At first I wondered what was meant by “grey eyes” and assumed they were talking about a Grey Alien..lol!
THen when I did get up from bed and went to the bathroom to wash up, I looked in the mirror and saw all my charcoal grey mascara and eyeshadow smeared around my eyes from the night before…Lol!!
So THAT’s What they meant by “Grey eyes!”
You can tell the Elves of Fyn that too., I know they’ll get a kick out of it!

I recently went overseas. My Aunt’s room was next door. These lollies kept appearing on her table. I knew the same lollies were in a bowl in the Manager’s office. Whenever I picked one up, I saw a flash of light, I flutter of wings. And when I realised this, it stopped. But then the giggling started. It sounded like tiny tinkling bells. What was happening?

ive seen so many faerys in the corner of my eye! also one when i was really sick (still am) i was lying in bed i closed my eyes for a min. and i pened them and there was on my chest was a beutiful gold faery! she didnt say any thing and she was blury and dissapeared.
i think they have been anoying my cats:3 i saw 1 on my cats head!

Ok, so a while ago (maybe a month or so), I collected random trinkets of interest from about my house. Including a very pretty, shiny bracelet I had with snowflake charms, a crow feather I found and kept, and a shell from the beach a few years ago. I was also sure my father didn’t mow down a nice patch of wildflowers near a tree we have.
Said tree is the biggest in the neighborhood, if I had to guess. It’s probably around 3 or 4 stories tall.I figured this was the most natural part of my yard, and thus most attractive to any faeries.
So I left my little presents there and announced they were for any friendly fae who lived in the area, and that they are welcome in my home.
I also hung up a small wind chime nearby, in the hopes any fae would enjoy the music (I read here they do).
Well, just yesterday I noticed that the items were gone. I attributed the feather to the wind, but the shell and bracelet are heavier.
I wasn’t sure when they had disappeared, but being a pessimist figured my cousins took the objects while visting for easter (girls 3 and 7).
Well, this afternoon, I was getting on the computer, and we have a window right in front of the massive tree where I put the stuff. Which is right next to the computer. The cat always jumps up on the ledge and sits there.
I just sorta glanced out the window… and nearly jumped out of my skin because I thought I saw a person walking by. Specifically a man. I flipped out because I have a fear of burglars/stalkers/that sort of thing.
He sorta stroked the cat as he was walking past. And it took a second for me to process all of what happened, so at first I just sorta looked at the screen again and then went “WAIT, WHAT?!?!?!” looked back and he was gone.
Judging by the size, I’m assuming he was an elf. He was standard-person size.
Of course, now I feel guilty that I left out a girly bracelet.. I have a guy fairie walking about. >< But maybe he knows a girl who would like it.
Maybe it was just my imagination, or a trick of the light or something. But I swear I thought I saw someone.

Wow, Aya, I would always trust your initial instincts– it sounds like an elf or male faery to me!
I’ve had stones gone from the dish I put in the faery’s garden– after I “out loud” told the gnomes and elves that they could take them as they were gifts for them.
When I went outside the next day, they were all gone, except the amythest point had dropped from the dish and was laying far under a nearby pine tree. The dish is a bird feeder dish attached to a long metal pole , and it is pretty deep, so the stones had to be taken out – there is no way they fell out.
I think a gnome or elf accepted my gift, but accidentally dropped the amythest when they were carrying the stones away. I placed the amyethest back in the dish, and the next day , that too was gone.
Then I noticed they put out things for me as well- like branches of goldenrod strewn along my sidewalk, and uniformly cut pine branches placed all along the front of our house this past December– not the neighbors’ property but just our home. My father was freaked out by that, but I really felt happy — it was like a Christmas present from them !

Hi Jen! That was the first time I ever felt anyone small walking on my bed- besides my past housecats we had growing up, They were even lighter than a housecat.
I hope they come back! Yes, they sure have a sense of humor– and I didnt get bad vibes from them at all .:-)

I think the Fae really love being around younger people– and they dont mind when you guys see them in your rooms, etc.
I think we adults make them feel less comfortable- we tend to be more on the arrogant side, and the Fae can sense this.
That is so cute that they are playing with your cat! They even sit on human’s heads from what I was told– and when I go to church, I invite them to sit on my shoulders or head and come with me to har the sermon
Once I did this ,and after we finished singing hymns, I felt a strong tug on my dress!

Hi! I just found your website and just wanted to write and tell you I hope you know how lucky you and your sister are to have someone to share your experiences with.
I was taught at a very young age never ever to share these things with the people around me because I was either told what a crazy imagination I had or that they were demons in disguise! But I never stopped believing in them, I just stopped talking about them.
The world is full of mystical creatures on the other side of our version of reality and others ideas of what is ‘normal’ is my idea of ‘deprived’.
I can’t keep rings they always disappear and never come back, bracelets are usually borrowed for a while then returned, and at the moment I am missing a jade necklace with a broken chain and a fairy cross I got in Virginia. Hmmm, must have misplaced them.
I was at the park last summer and found a spiderweb with small colored glitter all over it, I immediately thought of fairies. Yesterday when we were cleaning the yard I found a small one in a part where the grass has not grown back, which is significant because a few weeks ago I looked that spot and thought it looked like a fairy circle.
Now, I’ll think about Elves and get back to you.
Which brings me to a question: Do you ever find the memory hard to hold on to, (not forgetting but kinda misty) or is that just because I am so used to non-verbal thinking?

Thanks for the link to Ron Cordes book. I went to the website and read in the book’s description: “mission: to remind humankind that they share the earth with beings who are in danger of being exterminated by mankind’s abuse of mother earth. ” This is exactly the same reason the Elves of Fyn have been working with us, the same exact mission. Quite validating to hear it again from a completely new, unconnected source.

Hi Aya,
I read the Elves your story and they wanted to know where you are located. They said not to worry about the bracelet/guy thing because one their side, they would appreciate it regardless. A gift is a gift and they wouldn’t discard it or give it away to someone else.
I am thinking you probably saw something but whether it was from the faery realm and not the spirit world, I can’t say. Do you remember anything else about this man that you saw – what he was wearing, what his face looked like? That would help.

Yes, the pixie kind were probably at work here. They are quite fond of candy and sugars as are most fairies. No you’re not going mad, we often think that around here! However, the proof is inescapable – fairies are real and so was your experience, no doubt.

I’m so glad you posted here. It was very sad to hear your story about losing your mum and your brother getting beaten up by bullies. Do you live with your dad?
First of all, bullies are sad, angry people who only feel better when they can diminish someone else. They operate in secrecy and they can only do their worst when others stay silent. The best way to defeat a bully is to use the magic of truth. Have you heard the expression that “The truth shall set you free?” Well it can and will if you tell someone what is happening. Have you considered telling the adult in your life? I really hope you will try and tell someone you can trust about what is happening – standing up to a bully and not staying silent is the only real way to defeat them, in my opinion.
I am sending you some energy for courage and the strength it will take to stand up to this bully. Please let us know how you are doing!

Sorry you thought we had deleted your post…nope…just took us a little longer than we wanted to be able to answer you (and others).
Yes, my sister and I do feel fortunate to be able to talk to each other about the experiences that we have had. But the truth is, as you can see on this blog, there are lots of people here that also believe that fairies exist and love to share their experiences and we enjoy that immensely also.
Sounds like you have a lot of activity at your house! Any idea what type of fairy you have there? Have you seen or heard them?
About your question–no, we don’t usually have a misty type of recall as you put it. Sometimes we find we have to go over and over the event that occurred so that we are sure of our facts and our experience. We always try to debunk what happened too so that we can have 100% confidence in what we are sharing with others. Your theory of non-verbal thinking may be correct here, I think.
Yes, do think about the elves, they would like that

So glad you are doing better! Yes, it is possible for the fairies to give little gifts. As a matter of fact, I think Lisa A. was talking about them leaving some things for her and others have as well. Has that happened to you?
You asked about learning the magic of the fae–well obviously it is not the same as when the fae work their own magic but humans can and do use their magic and can be taught how to do so. Susan and I have learned it from the Elves of Fyn and we are thinking about how we can teach some of it here. I’ll let you know when we figure it out

Hi Natalie and Tressa,
I have received beautiful things from the Fae’s and Elves The physical things they gave me (not counting the happiness and joy in my life- and appreciation for Nature) were split open walnut shells with a perfectly formed heart cut out inside. They were laying in a very unlikely place where there are no trees.
Also an interesting stick that was split at the end to look like a flower. I put quartz crystal point inside of it- it looks very beautiful.
And they gave me a stadium seat cushion– brand new that fell out of someone’s truck when I was picking up garbage. Weeks before I was thinking of how I could really use one of those cushions, but wasnt sure where to find one.!
When I was making a Gnomes motel last Summer, I asked any Gnomes to direct me to things I could find to make it. While I was walking in the farm fields, I “accidentally” found a perfect wood base for the Motel that fit perfectly! It was made out of barn wood and was just lying in the field right at my feet!

No, I can’t really remember, other than he just seemed to hard to see because of a glare from the sun or something. But it was raining that day.
I live in eastern Tenn. it’s a pretty natural area, even though I live in a city. There’s lots of national parks and that sort of thing, plus my town does a lot to keep trees etc.
Also, I’m not sure if I mentioned above. I had included a black feather I had in my room with the little gifts, it wasn’t real, but I still liked the look of it.
I assumed that it had blown away from the tree. But today my dad came in saying he found a black raven feather below the tree.
I’m really excited, and if it is from a visitor, VERY grateful!

From what you’re saying, it sounds like they replaced your original feather with a real one. That seems very likely to me – I mentioned in another post that they did here by replacing a plastic beetle with a real one. I would say you got a real special gift!

ok, so i went to conneticut. it was really fun! they had a garden there and me and my mom went with our wand that we made in the arts and crafts workshop! we have awesome wands. my mom told me that my element that my wand weilds is fire. and hers is earth. well, anyway, we went to the garden and spoke to a pink fairy and a white one. after we left, the white one followed us. i’m not sure if shes still here but i’ll ask my mom.
the fairys really like me and my mom, i guess. haha, i feel really blessed.

I cannot remember how I came across this site but the information is wonderful.. I’m getting teary eyed thinking about making a feary house and garden!
I have had an encounter which I want to share with you – I have forever wanted to believe that fairies exist and have always wanted to dress myself as a green fairy (and still do!).
Its always easy to have doubt about something you cannot see, but since seeing one i’ll never doubt them again!
It was a few years ago.. I was 21/22 and was living alone in a horrible flat in Adelaide (Australia). I had just reached the lowest point in my life and couldnt think of one positive aspect. One night while laying in bed wide awake in the dark.. I saw a bright flash of blue light spark on the ceiling above me, and it shocked me so much I exclaimed outloud, “WTF was that?”. The next morning the image wouldnt leave my head so I drew it as detailed as possible.
The next year I had moved elsewhere and was feeling alot better about things, my housemate is an artist and has an artbook on drawing fairies by Brian Froud, I was flicking through it one day and saw exactly what I had drawn! It was a faery!
Later on I bought Brian Froud’s – The Faeries Oracle cards and a long description of my faery was in there along with the picture.
The Guardian at the Gate – its called.. representing life changes/new gateways opening etc.. and indeed that’s what had happened for me after seeing it!
I adore faeries and cannot wait to attract more of them in

hey natalie,
we made the wands out of wood. we painted them, glued pretty stones to them, put glitter on them, and blessed them. we also asked the fairys to help us use magic! and it worked.
yes, the white one is still with us. her name is sara.
and catherine, the blue one, is still with me. she says she is my guide.
mom has also got in contact with a guy fairy. his name is edward. i told my mom that was weird cause a tree spirit in our yard name is edward. i made friends with him. so, mom asked edward (the fairy) if they were related and edward (the fairy) said that edward (the tree spirit) is his ver old grandfather! wicked cool.
and ever since we have gotten back to our home, our fairy alter/garden has bloomed big time!
and tonight, we are having a party in celebration of may 1st which is beltain! the fairys have asked very nicley for a party. so, we are having one with them.

Well, it could be something from the faerie realm but it could also have been an animal, hard to say for sure, right? Sometimes it is easier to connect with them at night – maybe because things are relatively quiet at night and it is easier to concentrate and notice unusual things then. Traditionally, the best times to work with the faerie realm tends to be in the “tween times” like just before dawn and just before night but I have worked with them in the daytime most often.

I read about attracting ‘the wee folk’ (this website’s REALLY helpful) and then I had to wash some dishes. The sink has a window and it was open. My mind was so open and enthusiastic about starting a fairy garden and I felt extremely content. There are a surplus of trees in the far side of my backyard,beyond the fence. The window overlooked it. I saw something that was seemingly a butterfly with red wings. Of, course, I was influenced to think, ” OHMIGAWD, FAIRY!!!!” I felt super happy at that pioint realizing my backyard had some characteristics that definatly COULD attract the wee folk. I continued to wash the dishes, yet still alert for more possible sightings. Boy, was I lucky.. I was amazed. Another ‘butterfly type’ thing whizzed past me, about say 12 feet away from the window. It had white wings and DEFINITLY flew faster than any butterfly. I wonder what it was. It moved pretty fast and from my view, was…1 1/2 inches or so?

My neighbor’s house has ALOT of characteristics for attracting the fae, and whenever I decide to stare at it, I feel some presence. It’s different from the negative presences I usually feel.
After reading this, I am encouraged to ask my neighbor about her beliefs and hopefully, see a fairy someday along her house. From the window, the “butterfly” was whizzing from right to left..Towards her backyard……hmmmmmm

I have been to Georgia and I definitely think there are fairies there – no doubt. I know it’s sometimes hard to separate what we want to see from what’s actually there but this may be a case where they are one in the same. Now what you saw could have been a butterfly but somehow, the way you described the one with the white wings, puts it in the “possible fairy” category for me. Maybe it’s time to put some offerings/gifts out for them???

hey. my friend just showed me this site a few days ago. i guess you are going to be giving a class here in a month or so and we have been talking about attending. we both believe in fairies and talk about them with each other a lot. so here’s my story.
). i immediately called my aforementioned friend and she was the one who said she thought it might have been a bad fairy. seeing how i had only said i didn’t want them around me when i was in the woods, and i had yet to say anything like that in my room. so i said it of course! haha. i just wanted to share my story and get any thoughts of yours! thanks!
I’ve always believed in fairies. i used to spend the entire day running around my woods playing, and i think there is a great deal of magic in them, and that was a large part of my love for them as a child. but i grew up and sort of lost that connection, without consciously meaning to of course, and now i am trying to reconnect with that part of myself. so i was reading about how to attract fairies and communicate with them, and decided i would leave them some honey and butter. it was around midnight and i went out into my woods with a candle and just started talking to them. i told them i had brought a gift, and it was only intended for good fairies and those with mal intent need not come near. so i sat there on the ground for a while with my eyes closed, talking to them about how i used to play in the woods, asking if they remembered me. i wasn’t sure if i made any kind of contact, but i did feel like i was being touched on my arm and back, and i heard wings right by my head, they sounded kind of like dragonfly wings, but they aren’t out yet. so i was hopeful that my trip had been successful.
today is when i saw something. i was tired and decided to lay down for a bit. i was laying like i always do, on my stomach with my right hang up by my face. i wasn’t quite asleep, but i was definitely straddling consciousness and unconsciousness, just letting my mind wander. all of a sudden i felt a sharp pain on the inside of my cheek, like a bite! i jerked my eyes open and saw something on my hand crawling away! at first i just assumed it was a spider, it was quite small and darker colored. as it got to my right ring finger i started picking up my hand to look closer at it, and as i focused my eyes i saw it dematerialize!

I do agree with you that the woods can be very magical and a great place to go to invite fairies into your life – I have had plenty of magical moments there myself. I think you did a great job of reaching out to them and it sounds like they responded.
Now, about this little guy that you saw on your hand – he doesn’t sound particularly nice if he (or she) bit you (wow – talk about a rude awakening!) so I would post the fairy protection rune and tell them they are not welcome if they have bad intent. You probably already did that but I thought I would mention it just in case. I bet it was an interesting experience though!

Like when i was playing in my room alone i was 6 years old back then , i guess.. and now i’m 17. there’s something falls right into my head like a stone. hi, after reading many of these posts, i thought of giving a few of my own experiences, since everyone eles has made me smile. im 28 and live in tasmania australia by the way… ok, i will try to be brief lol.. last night, i felt a fairy touch my hand… when i commented, i heard don’t touch, which another person on here mentioned they said to her once. also last night, a fairy tha recently made herself known to me (visual mind transference) as Sarah, told me i had beautiful eyes… i was taken aback, like wtf? lol… and she continued to show me big blue eyes to confirm it. i thought it weird. the other day, i was in a higher consciousness, meditating, oout loud lol, and a windchime high on the ceiling, all windows shut btw, chimed for a few seconds. i queried that again last night, and was told..”you asked us for a sign renee” so haha, they gave it
and again the other day, i gave the fairies a huge list of help i needed, knowing that they always help me. i decided after reading this site to leave out for them chocolate and tiny crystals on a foil tray as an incentive to help me. next day was MAGICAL. people who are often horrible and grumpy, me included, were transformed into gentle loving people lol, and although i was dead broke, came home with 3 very important things i had asked to fairies to bring to me! i was and still am, amazed. the magical energy of that day… i dont think i have ever felt it before, but i know it was them, and am so forever grateful. their power astounds me truly!

oh, one i forgot to mention that i think you will find quite interesting, well i think that it is!! i was laying down for sleep, connecting and meditating as usual, and i tuned in and asked the fairies for some healing, which they always readily help with. i felt the energy all around, although lately i have felt an energy that my self seems afraid of and uncomfortable with, even though i know the archangels are with me… hmmm, but anyway, i had the light off. small light comes from outside street lamp but thats it, so i could just see. i felt a big energy to my right, after i mentally saw tiny fairies working on my chest and neck. suddenly, as usual lol, my cats head stopped, and darted left, right, up and down in quick movements. she was watching the fairies. cool i thought, but it happens. the thing is…. she was sitting on my chest, fairies healing me as requested, but as soon as they started almost, she spotted them AND STOPPED PURRING. now this cat is a motor mouth with purring. but, she stopped, and NOTHING we did for 24 hours would work. my household was very puzzled… until, my boyfriend, an open minded skeptic, suggested that the fairies had either asked, or somehow got her to stop purring, because the vibration of her pur was interfering with their healing work! this kinda instantly rang true… you never know, but yes, it does seem likely! a 24 hour stop too though… they must have had a lot of work to do! thanks fairies!

Hi, I find things missing in my house alot,like shiny things most of the time I find them right where i was looking. I brought a faery statue home with me to paint for my mom,and right away i started missing my keys, took me ten min. to find them right near the statue. I see little lights and images out of the corner of my eye. I hear quiet talking in all rooms of my house.My daughter asked me if faerys were real, I told her yes,she hasnt brought it up again.I didnt know faerys can be anywhere, i live right in the middle of downtown, in an apartment with no plants etc. but i do like to work with herbs. Can that be what is attracting them? The ones i would really like to connect,work and talk with is the elves. Hi Natalie, Elves and everyone! I had a Faery visitation this morning! Last night I asked the Faes to stay with me while I slept for energy from the cold outside. Even though it is Spring here, our nights are still cold yet.
This morning I woke up from a presence in my room, and I heard the noise of what sounded like a hummingbird hovering over my head near the bed’s headboard. When I woke up I knew it was a faery! As I tried to sit up in bed, it zipped away- just as a hummingbird would.
Today is my birthday- and I had taken off from work. I think this was a birthday gift from them for me– letting me feel thier presence and hear them this time!
I like that they took me up on my invitation. I heard that they don’t like it when it is cold. Our climate can get a bit uncomfortable in the Spring nights.
All day today I felt a joyful presence with me– Thankyou Faeries

Ah yes, I know what it is like to have things go missing all the time. Have you tried talking out loud to them? Sometimes they take things to get our attention (which has worked in your case) so now you just have to let them know you are aware of them. Maybe next time you hear the quiet talking, you could let them know you can hear them and would love to communicate with them. Try asking them questions–like “who are you?” and “what do you need?” and see what happens.
You’re right, they don’t normally go into big cities but my guess is that they saw you somewhere in nature (?), were attracted to who you are and followed you home. It’s quite a compliment, really…
I will definitely pass your message on to the Elves – they will be pleased, I’m sure.

i beleive i had a fairy encounter the other day that is not what i am used to… my vibrational frequency is changing a lot lately, and my crown and third eye chakras are being activated further… as are my ear chakras… so, i never really HEAR anything, although i have a couple times.. but two nights in a row after trying to connect with fairies, i heard something. please tell me if this sounds familiar to you at all anyone, because its new to me!! the first night, during meditation, i heard the distinct sound of, say, a big mosquito in my left ear. it stayed there about an hour? and the next night, same ear, a noise i could not really describe… it was different from the usual ringing lightworkers often experience, it was more like, a distant sound of the ringing of a bell… but constant and drawn out..?? do you think my perception is being strengthened right now? if so, i am very excited

i also wanted to add something that the fairies have contless times told doreen virtue (she is a medium)… that apart from environmental concerns, the fairies want to teach us, yes to lighten up and play more often, but also to teach us manifestation… because that is how they meet all of their needs, and the human race will eventually be able to do this also.. they want us to learn to manifest and unlimit our thinking to eradicate greed, wanting, needing etc. do your elven folk agree with this also i wonder?

Hi.
I was sitting in my garden next to the only flowers we have in our garden. I was the only one outside. It was quiet and breezy. I began to think about the Lavender & Heather I was sitting next to , and then started to think about fae. About 3-5mins later, I felt something pulling at my hair, and it was quite a tug too! As if the thing was pulling me over to something. I opened my eyes quickly and turned around, but nothing was there!
I 100% felt something pull and play with my hair, any ideas about my experience!
I believe it was fae! And I hope you can read my post. ( I’m 13 also ).
Here’s another story that happened to me –
I was walking home and I walked past a small house with lovely bright (and nice pink) flowers, which looked like Heather or Foxglove. I really liked them and thought about how nice they looked when I saw a misty white orb about 2 inches big floating next to the plants! It just floated about as I walked past it. Zooming in and out of the flowers. I hope it was a fae! And I was also happy that it didn’t fly away when I saw it. Also, it was weird because my friend didn’t notice it and I kept on turning around, she did too, but didn’t see anything. I never told her about it. Maybe she didn’t see it at all? Howcome I saw it and she didn’t?

the fairys in my garden are doing great. flowers are blooming everywhere and it seems as if animals really love our fairy garden/alter.
i have another question. can fairys make money somehow? the only reason i ask this is cause, one day, alot of my mom’s money was missing. she needed it to get to the food store. so, i was helping her look for it and i said, “i wish we could just get at least 15 bucks or something!” i stopped looking after a while. later on, when i was doing my daily chores, mom told me to unload the dryer. i opened the dryer and money flew at me!! right into my face. it fell on the ground. i picked it up…it was exactly 15 dollars…it was so strange. then, i gave the money to my mom. she agreed that this was so weird.
haha, i think it was the fairys. because, when i asked the fairys about this event, they all snickered but didn’t say a word about it.

I just wanted to write and say it was wonderful meeting all of you a couple weeks ago! I meant to come on here sooner and say so but I got caught up and was just reminded of it. Really great job, cant wait for the classes! My friend was particularly impressed because she said she could feel the energy changing when Mr. E came and went
(she’s much more tuned into those things than I am). So currently she and I are planning/working on our gardens, with great care.
I saw another fairy in my room the other day, just for a split second. I was sitting on my bed with my computer on my lap and I looked up and just started zoning out, and then all of a sudden a bright gold light zoomed from one side of the room to the other then was gone. So I said hello and that I was glad they were there.
So Im looking forward to seeing all of you again. Hope everything is well and you’re enjoying this wonderful weather as much as I am

but this is what happened
After I visited this web site for the 1st time,
I sat down and ,while my mom was n the bathroom,
I heard wings flapping coming from my room . i dont think they were birds because the birds are never next to my a room and arent that loud unless your really close to them. After I heard those noises I heard some voices from the same place but m not sure if it was just my imagination
then that same night
im not sure if it was just my tv, but i couldnt sleep so i turned on the tv for a bit and started hearing these 2 really high pitched voices at first i thought it was my neighbors but the noise dint come from that direction.i would mute my tv and then I couldnt here them anymore then i unmuted it and I could hear it again ( and i was watching southpark)then walked towards the tv and I noticed the voices were coming from the left side so I stuck my ear on the left speaker of the tv and i could hear t a bit louder but couldnt comprehend what they were saying all i could here was something having to do with being scared then i turned up the tv i couldnt hear them any more and then put it down and i just tried to ignore it the rest of the night
sometimes whle m sleeping I could hear weird music and i cant really listen to the melody cuz the volume is really low and ts ussually at about 11:00 pm when i go to sleep and start hearing it

Throughout my whole life i have been interested in fairies and my main eithnicity is Irish so it is apart of my culture. But i havnt really dedicated myself to the thought of contacting them and being with them.
Until 3 weeks ago that is…
i have been familirizing myself with the Sidhe culture and emersing myself with their ways. I went on a trip out of town this memorial weekend for 3 days and i left some milk for the fey right next to the lavender bush in my backyard.
I came back this morning and i checked the milk. It was still there right where i put it and only some of it missing (evaporation im guessing). But i read faeries can drink the “essence” of the milk so i wasn’t too worried about it.
But the real magic happened today. All day today i was cleaning my room and thinking about the Good Folk. I visited the Lavender bush and meditated near it for about 15 minutes and gave it new milk.
During the time i was spending around the Lavender i saw a big white moth land on the plant behind the lavender. It was faced me and wasnt doing anything special in particular. I was thinking how Fairies can transform themselves to other creatures and was wonderig if that was one.
My stepmom came out the backdoor carrying the garbage and i looked at the plant again and it vanished. I didnt even see t fly away. So i thought that was peculiar but tried not to think too much of it.
When i was just sitting next to the lavender observing the life around me i saw a Big Beatiful Dragonfly soar through my backyard in a circle and wonder off.
I live on an island right off of San Fransisco and i can honestly say i cannot recall the last time i have seen a dragonfly on this small island i live on. I knew in my heart that this was a fairy.
Altogether today i spend around 2 hours next to that lavender bush just trying to feel comfortable around it. And less than 15 minuetes ago i went outside in the dark just to spend some extra time with the fey and i was practicing my fairy sight by “unfocusing my eyes” and i saw sooo many flutters within the bush and so much movement!
i was so excited i was seeing the fairies! The feeling i was getting while being around them was something ive never experienced before, its like a very fluffly tingly feeling. After about 5 minuetes of being outside in the dark with the lavender i had this weird feeling in my stomach and all of a sudden i started laughing! it was this Burst of energy i felt in my solar plexus. I was laughing and felt tickly all over!
Im almost 16 years old and for some odd reason it felt natural to do this! I felt no regret or thinking i was strange for laughing all to myself in the middle of the night! I than started talking to the Fairies that i knew were listening saying i will be back later!
When i stepped inside my home it felt that i was in a different world, that i didnt belong. Almost as though i felt like humans shouldnt be sheltered inside our homes within walls. We need to be free! I walked to my room while still in a daze and came to my senses.
I live in the City and i still believe faery contact is possible! i am so excited that i am actually meeting the faerys. To people who are getting fustrated over not seeing them i can tell you the key to it is to be calm and loving. Expect Nothing!! Just spend time near them and let them get to know You. Today is the first day i have actually seen them and right now i am still feeling jittery and i want to go back outside to be with them.
I hope i will forever be with them and im sorry if i am sounding a little weird right now i am just so ecstatic that i saw them.
P.s. i think a fairy or two might have followed me into my home because my new phone (sidekick Lx 09 woohoo) is pressing buttons by themselves (it just flipped to my photo album) about 10 minuetes ago.

For what it is worth, it wouldn’t surprise me if your “strengthened perceptions” have something to do with this. Maybe someone here has had a similar experience and could help?

Hair pulling/tugging is something that fairies sometimes do to get our attention so yes, it could have been fairies at work there.
About the orb, both my sister Susan and I have seen orbs like you described here in our house at different times. Actually, the time my sister saw one, I was right there and didn’t see it just like your friend and I really can’t explain why. Maybe the one you saw was just trying to communicate with you and not your friend at that moment.

Are you asking if finding pennies is related to fairies? I guess it could be because they do like copper but it wouldn’t be enough for me to say yes it is for sure. Same with the phone – not enough to really say yes for sure
Also, I don’t think it is true that all fairies were evil and then became good. I believe that, just like humans, some are light, some are dark and some are a mixture of both.
The term “underworld” can mean several different things but from your other question about Lilith, I’m guessing you are wondering about the seven levels of the underworld that Sylvia Browne has written about in her new book. Sorry, I have not read the book so I really can’t comment on what she wrote.
Anyway, according to the Elves, the fairy realm is a totally different dimension, not under or over but parallel to ours in which all the fairy residents live together.

No, I don’t think they can make money for us–boy that would be great if they could! It’s probably more likely that they knew the money got accidentally (or maybe on purpose) put in the wash and didn’t let you know until you opened the dryer.

I’ve been a believer in the Fae for quite some time, I have had a number of experiences, but this one was my most impressive:
I’d gone on a camping trip with my family in the Gila mountains in New Mexico, I was camping by the creek (ironicly it’s called iron creek) and I walked along it into the thicker parts of the forest.
I stopped to do a bit of meditating on a fallen log over the water. After a while I saw a thickening in the air that usually meant that there was a larger faerie there. I opened my mind more so I could see her better; she was crouching in the creek naked, but I couldn’t concentrate on anything other than her face. She was wearing a smile like she was injoying an in-joke, and had very fair skin and hair. I asked her what her name was, after a while she indicated the fallen leaves, I trying to figure this out for a little bit and I asked if she could be more precise, she laughed and pointed at the leaves again. It took me a while, but I got it, I asked her if her name was Autumn, She said “yes!” and walked farther off to sit on a rock.
Obviously this was more intuitive than visual, I saw her with my mind, other than the thickening of the air.
I usually only see flashes of light, movement, and these odd little clouds of sparkles when I see them, so I thought this was worth tell you about.

Just recently I’ve had fairy hanging around.She is very mishcievious but not in a bad way.It’s as though she is playing.She is a bit quiet. she weara brown hooded robe with a white stripe down the middle from top to bottom and has pale blue bangs that goes just below her shouders.She likes to follow me it appears but but her hood always casts a shadow ver her eyes.She has small, petite face but it somewhat impish(if you could describe it that way).Her nose is small yet distinct.her wings are small and almost teardrop shaped.She wears brown simple slipper which of i have only seen once dut to robe lentgh.her wings are almost clear but seem to have a rainbow sparle to them.When i first noticed her she was by a photo frame and looked at me startled before franticly flying to me and and lifting a single finger to her mouth before giggling.I asked her to move a specific curtain blind for me and she did!Tonight I’m going to leave her something!

Alma- According to legend, stepping into a fairy ring might transport you to the fairy realm and since their time is much slower than ours, a lot of time will pass on our side and you could be arriving back home a hundred years later. So basically, it is not recommended!

Yes, the Cottingley Fairies is a very famous hoax – or was it? As far as I can tell from all the info out there, the girls did admit to faking all but one of the photos as you said. At least one of the girls also said that they did this because they actually did see fairies and were trying to prove it to the mother.

I have always had this feeling that fairies and dragons and elves and magic were real, but I could never think of a way to really connect. My friend and I are 15 and he is a dragon hunter ( not hunting to kill, but only to observe). I usually join him when we are out looking in the thick of the woods in Oxford England every summer ( he has about ten books on dragon hunting and lore). Ever since I found this website I have been focusing on finding and attracting fairies.
One day a few weeks ago, I decided to leave a small bracelet I had made as an art project during the year by our usual camp spot in the woods. I put it in a glass jar and I tied the jar to the tree so it would be impossible for any animal to take it. Then, the next day, the bracelet was gone. I was so excited that I wanted to celebrate with the fae. I know they like music so I ran back to the house and got my ipod and my portable speakers. I turned the sound up to some piano compositions and then suddenly this golden stream of light passed before us and ever since I have been seeing colored orbs in the corners of my eye.
Sorry for such a long post, but I do have one question. How do I get to really see the fae clearly, like clearly enough to see their faces and clothes and other features? I want them to be regular and welcome guests in my house, and I want at least one of them to be my friend (only the good ones of course). How do I talk to them and such?

5 years ago I moved into a house with a very magickal backyard, including a garden that is the most obvious fairy garden I could possibly imagine – it wills itself to grow wild, never to be dug in or cut back. And it magickally grow beautiful green foliage even in the depths of our snowy winters. So I’ve been aware of an outdoor presence for quite some time.
But recently, I began to notice a series of pranks being played indoors – objects I had just set down disappearing. The worst of all was a pair of rings I “lost” one night – my magickal rings, one is a chionite ring, the other a bronze ring with (you guessed it!) faeries and mushrooms on it. For weeks I searched and pulled apart the house wishing deeply I had them back. I figured the fairies had done it, but I hesitated addressing them until I had found some careful language (don’t want to offend or indebt!).
But finally one morning after searching for my rings tirelessly I became distressed, stood on my basement stairs (the last known location of the rings), and proclaimed, “Brownies and fairies, I am missing my two rings. They are my property and I deserve to have them back. Whether they were taken or misplaced, I respectfully request you point them out to me.”
Of course, I didn’t get to finish the last sentence – out of the corner of my eye I saw a little movement, and as I looked over (mid-speech), I found both rings sitting in plain view on a shelf above my craft desk – a place I had looked a dozen times already (and it’s a bare, tiny shelf).
Now my rings and all other possessions are back, and I feel like my home is in greater harmony.

Hi m name is Kain and thi i kind of awkward because I thnk I may be the only male here. I am 15 years old and have been practicing the ways of the Shaman for 2 years. One night i received a dream:
A woman came down with a man close behnd. The womn was dressed in plants and Ivy. The man seemed to be dressed in a green leather. The wmn said to me, “This is Felstrai.” The man said (Felstrai) Greetings Human on your next Jorney we shall meet officially”
The next day at around 2 pm. I journeyed into the spirit realm For the 4th time and there i faced “Felstrai” he Flew toward me and I immediatly Recovered from the Shamans state and I felt more in tune with Nature to confirm this (i ws in te Ozarks of MO at the Time staying with my Cherokee Aunt) I walked down to the crek and sat in the middle of the flowwing waters. I felt Enrgies from all the Plants around me going into my spirit.
Wat do think Happend to me.
P.S. I still hear his Voice in my head frequently.

Hi Cojo- Nice to hear your story and really great post by the way…
Sounds like you did a great job attracting and connecting with them – those orbs and the golden light definitely sound like the fae to me…
As far as seeing them better goes, you may see them clearer over time but many people never see them as more than energy orbs you have been seeing. May I suggest you go to the area where you see them and select one spot and slightly unfocus your eyes like you do when you daydream. That might help you see them more clearly and in the front of your field of vision, not just out of the corner of your eye. While you are there, maybe you could talk to them out load and let them know you want to see them better.

From what the Elves of Fyn tell us, there are different sizes of elves but they are around 5 feet, 7inches tall. They are sort of similar to the look of the elves in Lord of the Rings, if that helps at all.

Wow, you did a great job of getting your rings back – whew, that can be a bit tricky. I liked the part where you didn’t want to say the wrong thing and offend them. What you did end up saying was perfect – I wouldn’t have changed a thing. My guess is that your fairy residents were trying to get your attention and once you acknowledged them and knew they had taken something, they were happy to give it back. They can be such characters!!!

Hello Natalie, I am a 47-year-old American expat living in Switzerland. I was in Ireland very recently (May) and actually saw fairies with my own eyes! I even have photographic evidence (which may need a little Photoshop to zoom in on the orbs photographed but once you do, there is an unmistable fairy in one and a pixie in the other. How may I send these to you?
I am waiting for someone connected to the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland to verify my experience but they may be too busy. Nevertheless, the contact with them has changed my life and I cannot read enough about them. It has also convinced me to continue my studies in Celtic shamanism and druidry.

I went outside to try to “become one with the earth” and relax in order to gain the fairy’s trust. I felt a heavy or almost dark presence and said “bad fairys go away” and it got a little lighter but not much. I just assumed I was imagioning things. I then heard a thud. I assumed it was a car or someone playing with a basketball but no one in my neighborhood was outside. Anyways I passed that off as a car or something. And then I heard it again and knew it wasn’t. I stood outside collecting my wits and then ran inside like a pansy. Anyways, what was it and why did it happen? I mean, I’m not a great person but I didn’t think I had ticked the fiarys off or anything. Is it because I’m putting my pet up for adoption so he can get the medical care he needs? I’m worried and scared…
I forgot to mention I had just invited the fairy’s in by putting out a “magic fairy door”. I went to a fairy fest today and they said putting out a fairy door was a way of inviting fairy’s in. I did that and made a fairy house. I put the “bad fairy protection runes” above out doors on a slip of paper, I hand traced it from off the computer. Like I put of paper to the computer screen and traced it.
My grandma even believed me instead of passing it off as anxiety or my imagination… (SSorry for any spelling errors)

Hey, yeah I was just wondering if my fear of bugs would be a problem because I know they’re really close to nature and so I assumed they must love all insects, but I can’t really stand more than an ant or a beetle.
Oh btw, I actually am seeing them better. I saw one as a solid white glowing silhouette of a person. I just hope my power grows so I can see their clothes like some of the other people on here.

Hi, I was most intrigued at the post saying that they could appear in your dreams, which lead me to find this site and post this….I saw I guess a speck of light shoot behind my curtain one day and the next night I had a dream where I was conscious and I could hear a woman’s voice talking about two nations/factions and something about taking caution. My question what did she mean? How do I improve my odds of seeing them?

ok so yesterday monday the 29th i was trying on a pair of skinny jeans at ross and when i was changing i heard something sort of like a haunting voice or like a little kid trying to creep me out but it said my name is molly could that be a fairy or was it just a person??

Well, let’s see what is actually going on here….
From what you wrote, all I can see that happened is that you heard a noise and got a bit scared, right? In my experience, a noise, even a loud one, does not mean that there is something dark and evil around. Working with fairies (or anything paranormal ) can sometimes draw the unexpected to you and that can be surprising and maybe even frightening because you don’t know exactly what it is–especially to begin with. That’s human nature but that still doesn’t mean that it was negative or that the fairies were mad at you, does it?
Maybe they were trying to communicate with you and didn’t mean to scare you at all – that is possible…I don’t know, I just wouldn’t assume they were mad until I had a bit more to go on.
Just my thought/opinion.

Wow, that is interesting and it sounds like fairies–well, specifically elves– to me…
We communicate with a group of elves that call themselves the Elves of Fyn. I know it probably sounds weird when we say we “communicate” with them but it is what it is and over the years we have sort of made peace with all the weirdness
Anyway, the really interesting part of your story is what the “woman” was saying to you. You see, the elves have told us that there are two factions in their world–one group (which consists of eight nations) has decided that they want to work with humans to save the earth that we both share and the other group (which is everyone else) has decided that the best way to save the earth is to eliminate humans all together. So that’s what your “voice” meant when she was cautioning you to take care–this second group can be difficult and very scary and they like to whisper things in your ear and make you doubt yourself and feel bad and hopeless, etc. They want to make us as powerless as possible so that is why she was warning you.

Well something sure seems to be happening but I can’t say for sure what it is….
That sound thing that you are experiencing is something people also encounter with beings from the spirit world too so I can’t really say it is absolutely fairies.
Next time it happens, why don’t you ask out loud who they are and what it is that they want. It might give us more information to go on…

Ok well im only 12 but i wanted to share something.i will keep this short well, i will try too antway..:)ok well i have alot of friends but more than half are ones i cant see.and NO they arent mt amiagenary friends. (srry about the speeling). i was sitting outside and was lookin up at the trees and just relaxin’. THEN… this peice of tree bark fell right on my poor head!
but i know it didnt fall.. it was thrown!so is said outloud “do that again and i will tell my mom!!” and what do you know “WOOSH” another on my head!! GEEZ!!! so i ran inside and told my mom. for some reason she was laughing!! anyway she called her friend. (we call her indi) she is a medium and she can see them! so i asked her if she could tell me what did this and she paused for like 5 min!! and then she FINALY said that there is something there! (i knew that…GEEZ)she explianed it too me.she said that he is kinda like a little brother… he likes to play triks…but he would never do anything to hurt me…(exsept my poor head!!)so i figured that we just got off on the wrong start so i went back out there ( indi was still on the phone)i asked him if we could be friends (and indi said he was jumping up and down.) YEAAAAAAA!!! (ok there is more but at the end it gets said!)so i asked him if he had a name. nope.
so i asked if he wanted a name. yep.
but for some reason i guess he wanted it to start with Z. i realy dont knoow why. so i said …Zach?NOPE.he hateed that one cuz indi said is big smile turned into a frown) ZOOM!!!!! HE LOVED THAT ONE!! zoom. my best friend.so i went out there every once in awile and said hi and asked if he wanted cloths. so i just drew them on paper( more of a syomblic thing) i made like 20!! including pants hats shitrs and stuff. so i showed each one (indi was on the phone) he loved all of them.(sad part is comming up)so indi said that he was holding somethin’ in his hands a acorn…??? (again syombolic) but my sister (kate )who was CLUELESS..said “CANT YOU GO GET THE ACORN???” so then my best friend ran in to the woods maybe looking for a acorn. but… he never came back.(sad part if you havent already figured it out

i hope im not bothering you!! plz plz plz dont think im crazy!1maybe zoom was an elf or somethin’?? what do you think?im bored so i figured wile im waiting for you to write back i will tell another story.(not about zoom.)well i do make fairy houses!!! cool i know!!! maybe i can get you a pic…MAYBE cuz i have no clue how to but i think i could figure it out. anywho,i have two ones that i made so far. and they are in my moms room on a table along with a bunch of things that we gave to the fairys includin’ pennys,rocks,flowers and aother stuff. do i was talkin to indi and she said we had to fairys… she said that she saw them as a blue and a red light. too bad i couldnt see them…yet! so she also said that one flew right up to me and flew back laughin’…lol.(this is the ussall)and so i just kept on talkin. then so after awile i forgot about it and that night for some reason i woke up and couldnt go back asleep. so i got up and slept on my moms floor…(dont try it cuz your neck hurts like crazy the next day!) anyway…as i was falling back asleep on the flooe… i saw a red light!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHH!!!! i sat there scared as heck untill i figured it was the fairy indi had told me about!!! every time i blinked it seemed to be in a different spot around the tv. then…i saw the blue one!!!!around the tv!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! i was so tire i never fully relised what had happend until the next day!! do you belive me? oh and about zoom WAZZZ HE???AND HE IS NOT EVILE OR ANYTHING EVEN THOUGH HE LOOKED SCARY!!!anywho have the best 4th of july and i cant wait to hear from you!and sorry if im bothering you… you know with all the writing.

I used to seem fairies or occasionaly; we call them “engkanto” here in Philippines. Our fairies here are more similar to the nymphs who posess almost all of the characterisrics of human beings but they are magical beings who reside in kingdoms who just looks like a big tree, big rocks, under lakes and rivers and caves and even undergrounds. As a child, I saw once a palace in the midst of a sugarcane plantation and there are people inside and some of them are making signal for me to go with them. I try to do so but my mom can’t see them so she thought I was just imagining things. That was the time when some of the fairies went to our home troubling my mother because they want to take me with them, I want to go with them but I want my mom to be with me. Visitations from them happened almost everynight when the twilight came so my mother brought me to the church and have me baptized at the age of 4yrs. old so it all stopped, but not at all. I was 15yrs. old when we have our camping trip at the PATAG Mountain Trail, my bestfriend and I can’t wait for our team to visit the waterfall so we did; on our way to the waterfall we passed in the forest covered with big frens. I took a pee a few meters away when I suddenly saw a vintage model car with dark tints on the window glass which I can’t see the passenger of the car. We both saw it and it’s amazing to see such a car in the middle of the forest, it stopped in front of me, I got scared so when we run away turning back to the campsight. It was then that I learned that our fairies here also ride in cars because they also live like us but they are richer and powerful than us; an old woman who lived nearby told us and I was about to be abducted. A shaman gave me an amulet as protection to fairy abduction but I lost it. Last year, 2008, month of June, I decided to took a pee again at our backyard. That was 2:30pm, I took a glance at the gemilina tree nearby when suddenly I saw two women dressed in white gowns beckoning to me. They have long golden hair, the other one is straight and the other one has curly locks. I can’t see their face since they’re in a distance and they’re seemed to be glowing. They vanished in an instance, I was troubled but I didn’t mind at all cause I’m already used in seeing fairies. I was not expecting that one of them, having the curly locks of long hair had her sight on me. Everywhere I go, I smell the scent of a floral fragrant similar to a jasmine even when I was just alone without other person in the area. One night, maybe she just can’t stand the passion, as I was sleeping, the curtains beside my bed whe I slept was raising as if a soft breeze tossing it and it never came down. I felt so cold that time, as I was about to sleep, I heard ringing of bells outside our house. I can’t move my limb and I was totally paralyzed, I felt a very cold air covered my entire body, I tried to shout for help but I can’t move a muscle on my lips and my entire being. A moment after, a felt a soft hand caressing my face and it was the fragrant creature who was with me. She then stood in front of me, she was a very tall lady with long hair reaching her ankle dressed in a white gossamer clothes. It was dark and only the moon giving me the hint of her form, she vanished again and verything turned to normal. No more raising curtain or even the sound of the bells. Again with the help of the shaman, it was detected that the lady was a fairy or particularly a wood nymph. But this time, I decided to keep her as my secret girlfirend even though I already have a relationship with a mortal girl. She would sometimes lay down beside my bed when it was very dark, I can’t see her face but I can feel her. That was again fullmoon when she showed herself to me, I was able to see her face to face, she was very lovely and I think she was the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen in my entire life. She was a goddess in form, slender, tall and similar to elizabeth taylor in face. I waited her to talk to me but she didn’t, she’s just there staring at me and then left. She visited me often until this time, when the moon is bright and it was friday. My 5yr, old niece once saw her one morning as she was about to go to school when she saw her floating in the air flying out on my window, she described her as having a very long curly hair in golden blond, she seemed to be dressed in a very thin fabric and she was glowing like a candle and she vanished in the air. I love to have a fairy lover and this all I was telling was based on my real encounter with the fairies. I’ve been seeing these elusive beings since I was a child and it’ll become a book if I will told all of them but those that I’ve written are the most fascinating since I am already adult when this happened. Also, this still has continuation but I’ll just share it later…..

I SAW ONE!i prayed for about an hour last night that i would get to see a fairy and the next second i saw a tiny blue flash and i knew it was a fairy!then i asked what its name was and different questions but it didnt reply so i sang this song i made up and i could hear a tiny voice singing along with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sorry i made this so long but i cant beleive it

I have had a fairy garden under my kitchen window for more than a year. A few months back I removed something from it and was left with a ‘cave’ which I always intended to do something about. A few weeks ago I got down on hands and knees to have a good look at the space, and I saw a tiny piece of paper with the word ‘tina’ printed on it, just at the cave entrance. Knowing tina (small t) was in residence I changed my mind about making any alteration… but subsequently I noticed the cave roof was threatening to fall so I made a tiny brick wall and ceiling to support it. The paper with tina’s name on it is still there so I guess she approves.

Hi, I’m 13 and I’ve seen fairies. When I was around six, I left a tooth out for the tooth fairy. When I glanced up at the window I saw a fairy silhouette. I don’t believe in the tooth fairy anymore, but could that have been a fairy trying to make me think it was? I had another similar encounter after that, and another time I saw a mermaid head and then saw her waving her tail out in the ocean. I kept pointing it out to my mom and she couldn’t see it. Once in the winter I saw footprints about four to five inches long and some 2 inch ones beside it! They looked pretty old-fashioned so I thought they must be fairy shoes. I live in the country with no kids around. Nobody would be pulling a prank on me (except my brother, but he isn’t intelligent enough for that. Ha ha). I even have a picture of a fairy that isn’t just some light. Two years ago, I was really into taking pictures of flowers and one of my pictures had a fairy sitting on a flower! I’ve showed it to a lot of non-believers and they think I faked it! But I am really bad with computers! Anyways, thanks …

Brittany, I was reading your post about Zoom, and he sounds like an interdimensional Being that I saw last Summer (when my eyes were shut)
I was sitting down on the grass reading a book called “The Encyclopedia of Faeries” and in the book, it mentions leaving the faeries food offerings.
So I got up — made some snacks and put them under the pine tree where I was sitting.
I sat back down on the grass and continued to read when I saw from the corner of my eye a large rabbit hop right near me and stop right at the pine tree– near the faery offering.
The rabbit sat and stared at me with curiosity, and I marvelled that it was willing to get that close to a human.
I shut my eyes so that I wouldnt scare it, and when I did, I saw this short bright green being with long ears that stuck out– he looked like Yoda from Star Wars, but I could only see his glowing green outline and not his features.
Startled, I opened my eyes and the rabbit was gone. I shut them again, and couldnt see anything.
That green being I saw reminds me of Zoom!

Last night when i was about to go to bed, i think it was a moth but it looked to be moving to quickly to be a moth, but at the foot of my bed there was this black circle thing and it was flying around right there. i had invited good fairies to come yesterday and i put out some sweets and stuff and a fairy house. and this morning i was talking to a faery and she is correcting the error’s in my spelling. she said her name is Sarah but she goes by Sherie. She loves sugar but she wont let me see her. She and i communicate by talking through mind, i dont even need to say it out loud and she still hears me. Ive believe in fairies on and off for a long time. my family reclycles and we have a compost and a garden. I know faeries talk to people who do those kinds of things, but i thought that it would take at least a week before they would show up. Plus im not sure that it isnt my mind playing jokes on me. the voice sounds kinda different then mine, in my mind. what should i do?!!!

I am myself a reincarnation ( or perhaps incarnation would be a better word) from the Elven realms come to Earth to guide it down the path of light, and protect it from the dark forces that wish to harm it; therefore I can relate tremendously with the information you are sharing.

Hello! I was curious one midsummer’s eve as to whether any of those old traditional spells worked. So I tried the one where you go out at midnight and without uttering a single word or noise from your lips go and pick nine different kinds of flowers, place them under your pillow, then go to sleep and dream about the one you are supposed to marry. I dreamed of this certain man who was my age, and who was the same man in a dream I had had when I was twelve or so. In the earliest dream, I remember that I knew he was a fairy and he spoke with me and led me away somewhere, but I don’t remember where. In the midsummer’s eve dream, All I can remember is seeing him standing in front of me smiling, and saying something to me, and I remember that I loved him. About a year or two later, not on midsummer’s eve, I had a dream about the same man, only I was falling off a cliff and he was saving me. We had both aged to the age I was while dreaming. In May I had a dream about my wedding, and I can remember it vividly. He was there, and it was a perfect wedding. I even remember the setting and what my dress looked like. Even that it was sunset and had just rained, and the smell of rain was still in the air….
Also, the first time I dreamed about this man, we lived across from some very deep woods. I have my bro and sis to back me up on this: we used to hear fairy music, and when we took our friends into the woods to ‘investigate’ my sister and I were singing and voices were echoing ours in another language, and it was a whole chorus. It was strange enough to make my friend Julie scream and want to leave. The music we’d hear was beautiful, and there is no way I’d be able to compare it to anything. I;ve always heard that fairy music changes a person or can kill them. I believe it changed me, for when I remember it, I find myself burdened with an intense longing that tears my heart in two. But only breifly. It has left me more cynical (spelling?) of ‘fairy’music CDs, because no human could ever have the hope to immitate such beauty.
I see shadows out of the corners of my eyes, sometimes black, sometimes white, and they always move before I see features. But I feel they aren’t tricks, because there is a FORM there, not just an eye spot or whatever. Just last night I was going out the front door around ten oclock in the evening to go to walgreen’s and in the yard across teh street there was someone standing, looking at me, but it was a sillhouette and I only saw it for a split second, for when I glanced down and then realized what I saw, I looked back up and it was gone.
My brother has had fairies speak to him thorugh dreams, and in his ear. I’ve had them speak to me in my ear, as well, two years ago when I had major surgery. Granted, I was on morphine, but I remember it clrealy, even the way the tone of voice that was used, and I don’t think someone high would remember this with such clarity?? They were saying “Psst! Hey, Psst Hey! Hey! Hello! Hi! Psst…” and then what really freaked me out and made me call my dad (lol) “… We know you’re there!”
What would that mean “We know you’re there?”

i stumbled upon this site last night and read most of it. i always loved fairies and i own a ton of tinkerbell stuff, i even have a faery tarot deck that was a gift and no deck has ever worked so well. a few nights ago this older woman asked me out of the blue almost while talking about past lives and ireland, if i liked fairies. i told her how much i love them and she said i really must, but she told me to do more research and that is what brought me here. one website said there are ways to tell if fairies have indirectly communicated with you and when i walk past some gardens in my neighborhood i smell this smell, it’s indescribable, but no one else smells it, there will be a gentle breeze even if there is no wind stirring. i decided to make a faery house and i talked to my parents about putting a small garden and house in the yard. i was heading to the store and stopped and drew the welcoming good faery ruin on the back of my air freshener. i had been thinking faeries have been trying to communicate with me but i wasn’t taking the time to listen. i dropped my sweater outside my car going to work after my trip to the store and i work at a mall, i thought i left my sweater inside, but i came out and it was hanging on my side mirror. i think the fairies watched it and made sure no one took it. i guess my question is does any of this make sense or am i reaching?

I just wanted to share this with you and hear your opinion.
Yesterday night, it was about 12.30am, I let the dogs outside so they could run about, do their business, (no need for detail –haha)etc. Anyways, I was watching them from the door and then all of a sudden my dogs went berserk, she jumped up and ran across my trampoline to the back of the garden it was pitch black and I could barely see, but I still went to go check out what was going on. I went over and I couldn’t see anything. I wondered what it could be and as I got towards the door I considered it to maybe be a fae making a noise too high pitch or low, that my ears couldn’t hear. And at that point my head buzzed. It was so weird, it’s hard to explain. It was a buzzing sensation in my head, and I could feel it clearly. When I stopped thinking about fae it stopped.
It is hard to explain, that’s about as much detail as I can provide.
Are the fae trying to make contact with me?

I just saw a fairy last night. It was the weirdest thing because I never believed in fairies before. I was actually sure they didn’t exist, but after what I saw there is no disputing the existence of fairies as far as I am concerned. I travel for work and sleep in a lot of motels while on the road. While I was in a motel in Indiana last night. I woke up at about 3 A.M which is common because I never sleep the whole night without waking up. My eyes were opened and I was totally awake and concious, looking towards the foot of my bed and off to the right a little bit. When I saw this little creature. It looked like a miniature human being probaly about 6 inches tall, it was wearing blue and red. and it was hovering in the air probaly about 4 feet off the ground. The best way I can describe it’s movements is the way somebody would move their arms and legs when they are tredding water in one spot trying to stay afloat. I watched this thing in amazement for almost 1 minute. then suddenly it realized my eyes were opened and it darted away in the air and dissappeared on the other side of the room. I know I didn’t imagine this, and I know I wasn’t dreaming. Do you think this was a fairy?

You said you were in Indiana–was it in a big city or was it a more rural area? Can you tell us what she was doing (besides hovering) for the minute that you watched her?
You are very lucky – most people don’t get to see fairies, especially not that clearly! I can imagine that this is going to change the way you look at a lot of things from now on (speaking from experience).

Yes, it makes sense and I don’t really think you are reaching too much. I was interested in the indescribable scent that you smell because that does sound very fae to me. They definitely could be trying to connect with you and it is hard for them to get through to us sometimes so they start to do more and more obvious things until we can’t overlook it. That could be what happened with your sweater (but it could also be that someone passing by did that too). If they are around, it will be noticeable eventually. I always think we need to try to find the logical explanation first and then when you run out of logical reasons, fairies may be the answer. (We always do that here because we don’t want to doubt ourselves later.)
I would pay close attention to your environment and see what else you turn up because I think you may have some fairies around you.

It’s me again.I finally found out her name after much mischievious pranks to get attention from the previous fairy that I mentioned last.And to honest I’ve been quite in touch with them since I wabou 4 years old so I’m not TOO suprised I could her THAT clearly.Her name is really Jukiana.I know it sounds odd but very pretty.In fact she sits with me as I type ticking my neck and shoulders sorta.I always put flower petals all around my yard when something good has happened but i keep some in a bowl so when something bad has happened I put out wilted flower petals.It’s sorta a way I communicate with them.Anyways, I’m gonna go away from the computer for a minute to see if something happened to the flower i left them.Hold on. … The flower now smells horrible.Jukiana has taken a liking to sitting upon my shoulder tho which makes my shoulder ache.But I been seeing something almost human like by the woods by my house.I wonder what it could be?

Emma, I just saw your post and that is truly beautiful!!
A friend of mine has been having similar visitations from a Faery or Pixie in her home. She said this fae being sings along with her CD’s she plays– especially Yanni CD’s. And she also loves to sing in the house using her own songs.
When she first encountered this Being, she heard her in the kitchen area. She actually heard her say to the cat, ‘Scat, cat, scat!” and her cat ran into the other room- and won’t go in the kitchen any longer!
She is also having dreams with this fairy as well- and one of the things this faery told her in her dream was that she wishes more humans would love animals and nature.
Her encounters with this Being are very positive and have really been a blessing for her.
So you probably have a faery or Pixie in your home-
I was told by a very good source that faeries love lemon desserts- anything with lemon in it. They also love honey and basically any fruit desserts and pastries.
The gnomes and non-winged faery folks– love chocolate. The winged ones love it too, but it doesnt agree with them, and is overly “grounding” for them– making it hard for them to fly.

They love semi precious stones and crystals, pretty sea shells, beads and trinkets set out for them as well.
I’ve read of a gnome sighting someone had while they were hanging out their laundery to dry. They noticed the gnome had lots of trinkets sewn on his vest!
When I left out some semi precious stones for them in their garden I made for them, the stones are always gone after so many days or weeks., and I place them in areas noone else can get to.

Hi, first off id like to say i really like your website!
Ok, so i think i may have had some fairies visit me in a dream. This was after the first time i stumbled upon your site. i saw that elvish truth amulet and decided to draw it on my left hand and ask for some fairy contact. well that night i had kinda a strange dream. i was like partly awake and partly asleep but more on the asleep side but i still had a dream were at least 3 or 4 of what i am pretty sure were faeries were talking to me.At first i was kinda afraid of them. i thought they were demons hahaha. They were all different colors and looked like orbs of light. like the faeries in the Legend of Zelda. but the one that i remember the most was what looked like a black Fairy which was the one talking to me. I dont remember any of the conversation but I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and when I went back to sleep had the same dream like 2 more times. same half awake half asleep feeling. I hope this all just isn’t false memory cause it was a little while ago, may be two or three weeks, but I do know one thing. I didnt feel like I slept much at all that night. I hope you could shed some light on this. please and thank you. =)

Hi, i have never seen a fairy. However i have been friends with one know for about two years. He first made contact on a quiji board (i prolly spelled that wrong). After a while of trying to get rid of him, i accepted that he had no bad intetions and we became friends. I would sometimes have like a heatflash when he would come around.I have only spoted him out of the corner of my eye, but my friend has seen him by me before.We have actualy got in fights before and he gets mad at me sometimes, and he can be a real smart ass sometimes but he has not left me and i am greatful he is here. Is it posible for a sprite to bond to a human? expecialy when i dont know why he picked me? Just wanted to share my story. thank you

I wrote earlier and guess what happened to me this morning. I saw one!!! I am sure it was one, I only realy just saw it as I was eating breakfast. I stayed over my mums friends house because she took me to see a p!nk concert last night and this morning I was eating breakfast and as I turned my head I saw what I believe to be a fairy, it had blackish and grenish wings and I saw a curious look on its face. I only saw it out of the corner of my eye as i turned my head, When I realised it I looked back and it was gone!!!!
Its wierd becuz it was there 1 second and gone the next. The second mystery is, what the hell was it doing there, this ladies house isnt the most fairy welcoming and neither is mine for that fact, but her house is plain and she has no trees and no garden just pavement and all modern furniture, her house is new and very bare and mine is pretty similar.
does anyone know why it unvieled its glamour for a second and is it bad becuz we are in the time of the unseelie court(in australia its winter) So right now I’m pretty confused

Sometimes, they are drawn to a person and not a place so it is hard for me to say why the pixie was there. Maybe it was there because it is winter and it is getting out of the cold by being in the house.
I don’t think it is weird that it was there one sec and gone the next – that is a common thing that can happen. Sounds like you saw one!

ok one night i went to sleep (of course)and i woke up around 4:00 am not only to find myself laying on the floor but my quilt was all smoothed out and i was laying on top of it. i would’ve known if i would’ve rolled off and i forgot to put this: it always felt like when i was in my room i wasn’t alone, it kind of made me really nervous when i stepped out of bed. i’ve moved from that house now and everything feels fine.can you tell me what that was? seriously! please don’t take that rudely.

It could have been faery related- there is no way for us to know for sure.
I have read where sometimes a person will get some sort of sensation in their heads — relating with the chakra points in that area being opened up more. There is a spot on the forehead between the eyes where one of our Seven chakras is located- and in some people, that chakra is more open than others. These people are more psychic as a result.
Maybe the faeries were working on that area of your head. I don’t want to say that is the case, though.

This faery being sounds like she may be one of those who don’t care for humans.
Many faeries and pixies are very loving and then there are those who lean towards evil because this is the choice they have made.
What I would do with this faery –besides also making sure that faery protection symbol is up– is to call upon the Creator of all Life to please help and intervene. I will be praying for you too.
It could be that this faery is not a bad one- but she just loves attention. The faery sometimes take things because they don’t see it as wrong to do this as we do. They also think humans are selfish because we get mad when they take things.
Since she is laughing at you and scaring you- I think this is unnacceptable.
I would also tell this faery that you have just put her and her friends entirely in the Creator’s hands so she better be nice because archangels are keeping an eye on her and her friends.
All living Beings know right from wrong, so even faeries and pixies have no excuse to play dumb — You can also tell her that I just placed her and her friends before Christ’s Throne myself — so they should be prepared for your guardian angel to step in when they least expect it.

Hi Tammie, I love this site too! I heard of what you asked- if there are any faeries that you can create with your imagination. They call them “thought forms”.
I beleive that no human can create a faery like that– because the Faery Kind are all individual Beings created by the Great Spirit just as humans were.
Now you can create energies with your thoughts– and this is not the same. If you ever walked into a room and felt bad “vibes”, you are feeling the negative energies of whoever is in that room (wether they are human, angel, demon, faerie, human ghost, etc)
Regarding faeries that give poeple things.. The Faery-Kind that are on the side of Light are very open-hearted Beings, and they are apt to give gifts of things out of love .
They will give humans things found in Nature– and will even give then unexpected flowers popping up in their yards that the humans never planted.
The key is never to expect anything -but to give to them first out of the kindness of your heart. Don’t give them anything so that you can get something back.
The good Faes give things as an exchange of love from one Being to another.

Dear Joshua, sounds like you had a visitation of faeries or pixies. They WILL often appear as colored lights or orbs – and sometimes a person can see them wide awake.
When you are in the stages between sleep and waking up, your psychic awareness is very open. I’ve had a few experiences like yours too with little Elf type beings and last Summer a faery speaking to me asking me “can you help me?” and this was only when I was in the stage between sleep and waking up in the morning.
I would speak to these faeries while wide awake — speak to them out loud when noone is around. Leave out some snacks for them too.
What made you think they were demons? Did they give off a negative vibe? If so, they could be the “Unseelie”– from the ‘dark side”, so in that case, don’t encourage communication.
It sounds like they were good ones though.

Chloe, that is awesome! Dont be worried that she was a bad faerie, because even though it is Winter there, it doesn’t necessarily mean only the Bad Faeries are around then. Faeries tend to plants and trees going through Winter dormancy, so they are actually a blessing to Wildlife during the Winter months.
Natalie mentioned that she could be in your home to get away from the cold. That is soo true, because cold temperature does take a toll on thier energy.
I would make her feel at home and put out some honey and cream, ice cream, lemon treats, and other things for her.
She will take the essence from these snacks for energy too.
Faeries, Pixies, and all these Beings visit all over the Earth- even in remote areas. Australia has it’s share of Faery Beings, as does Africa, India, ALL the Earth.
I am so happy for you that you saw that faery! Black and green wings does sound like a very attractive combination of colors too
If you leave any physical treats out for her , I would put out some black shiny stones and green stones (the color of the green in her wings)– as think she will enjoy those.
I have the feeling that she came home with you from that Pink concert. Faeries do love music and love the energy humans give off when they are having a good time.

Faeries will appear as insects or animals (rabbits, etc) when they get close to people. Alot of times the faerie is just curious of us, but doesn’t want to call attention to him/herself, so they will appear as something we humans expect in nature.
They love appearing as bugs or dragonflies– or birds. Rabbits, etc.
I’ve had two dragonflies fly up to me that i know were not ordinary dragonflies. Last week, a dragonfly came up out of nowhere in our yard when I was about to dig up the Lemon Balm from the garden. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was not too thrilled at me, so I told it, “don’t worry, I won’t dig it up- but will only transplant the smaller lemon balm – and leave this one alone” As soon as I put down the shovel, it dissapeared — and I didnt see it fly off.
Alot of times the Fae will appear as colored lights in plain daylight or night-time. A friend of mine saw a purple blue light fly from her mint plants over to her lavendar plants in her garden. This was NO firefly.
Also, the faeries will remain invisible and often enter into an insect, or will ride on one so though it is an ordinary insect, there is a faery still involved!
That green bug sounds interesting!

Now, when you mentioned that chant, those kinds of chants are a little offensive to the Faery-Kind. Alot of times humans centuries ago, made up these chants as a sort of Control thing with the faeries and pixies, and they find it a little insulting so be careful when you chant things like that to them.
They are individual Beings with their own individual personalities. To have a connection with them, it is best to just be down-to-earth and open-hearted with them. RESPECT is the key word here.
If I were a pixie or Faerie and someone chanted that to me, I would say a loud “buh Bye!- and it would reinforce my opinion of humans as an arrogant species.

Hi Rico Paulo, I have a friend at my job here in the U.S. who was born in the Phillipines- her parents were born there too.
Yes, the Faerie-Kind are around there too, just as other parts of the Earth. That poke you got in the back definitely sounds as though a type of faery or Elf type being (not the tall Elves Natalie and Susan communicate with) was having fun with you.
They wanted to get your attention and they also were probably laughing with each other when you turned around and couldn’t see who poked you!
They do like to have fun like that with humans.
Regarding that Faun you had a dream with- it sounds as though this Faun wanted to show you that you better not underestimate him— if you provoke him, he will give it right back at you!
THe Faery-Kind deserves respect and consideration. They are not too thrilled with the human beings behavior towards Nature and animals. They see us at work cutting down trees and hunting wild animals –leaving orphan wild animal babies behind to die, etc.
Best to show humility to these faeries and other Beings– tell them you will do your part to help animals and nature the rest of your life and mean it.

omg omg omg i was outside collecting rocks for the fairy house i built as sort of a ffence to surround it and i heard this:
i heard the laughter of a female, so i am almost absolutely sure that there is a FEMALE fairy in my backyard. the first thing i heard was sort of singing before i heard this, but i could not make out the words so i just thought to ignore it. some of the rocks i was holding were quartz. then i heard the laughter. then i was sure this was fairies. although first what i heard was kind of like the singing was a boy and girl in a duet. but it was faint. it’s hard to explain how i heard it, it was kind of like loud enough to know it wasn’t in my head but quiet enough that it was almost in my head, i know that is confusing. the laughter is still ringing in my ears. now i know what it will sound like when i talk to them. i will be patient but i can’t wait. i have an arch in my backyard, maybe that helped.

hey there, interesting you should say that! I was actually at a friends house when I saw him or her( i think it was a he though) and he was outside on her padio and he was on his feet aswell, which I found rather stranger but for surre what caught my eye was its wings. I’m pretty sureit followed me home though becuase a lot of wierd things have been happening almost like ‘practical jokes’ like things go missing but just turn up, I think that it might be just curious becuase it doesnt have these things for too long and they are objects that i dont think a faery would have seen before, I also get the feeling it is also a young faery too, I dont know why but I just think it is
i left some stones out and milk the other night the milk actually looked like it had evaporated, does this happen when faeries take the essence. No stones were taken though.
Another thing is in the first place that my interest in faerys came was 1. I’ve always love the whole faerys and fantasy magic(I have always read books about those kind of things) and 2. one night out of the blue I had a peculiar dream about a blue faery orb magic light thing and I was getting ideas put into my head about them so I was pretty confused I then searched absolutely everywere on the internet wen I found a website were faery sightings were and what is more interesting some things were just like my dream they described what I saw!! it was one of the two decent websites i had found that week( or was it month??) so I confided in my sister and she kind of believed me and she has decided to help me find out stuff, so two days after I told her we snuck out and went to this shop run by a women who says she is physcich or clairveont or whatever, I know about this shop because they sell the most beautiful faery ornaments so we asked about faerys there and she couldnt tell us anything so she just told us about some books.
I then told mum I had run out of books to read so about 3 or 2 weeks ago she took me down to borders ( a big book shop in the city) I couldnt find any of the books she told me about, so I decided to look for an actual book for me to read because I like reading when all of a sudden I saw this bright red novel so I picked it up and it was called “the 13 treasures’ I read the blurb and found out the book is about a girl with the second sight!!! I read it and found out heaps of info but wasnt sure wether any of it was true, so I checked the internet again and found this site, I matched up all the right info!! I find it hard to believe that book was right!!then the sighting happened after I wrote a comment here so this is confusing but almost as if it was meant to be like fate…

what you need to do is when you are feeling brave, not scared, you need to say as tough as you can “those with bad intent are not welcome here!” if that doesn’t work you should consult natalie about this… spreading iron around the house is a good idea it will repel her, you also might wanna put up the protection rune and attract some good fairies if you can, because the more good ones you attract the less bad ones you’ll have. can i ask you something, how does she glow? what color?

It’s hard for me to know what is actually happening to you but if you are being bothered by a bad fairy, go find a piece of iron and keep it nearby – fairies do not like iron and they stay far away from it. You can also post the Fairy Protection Rune in your room and tell them they aren’t welcome in your home unless they can behave nicely. See if that helps but if it doesn’t there are other things you can do…

Sorry about the confusion…you wrote this to Claire about a dark fairy she was having a problem with: “dont be afraid of her but my best advice is not to stand up to her in a way that u come across trying to make u look stronger becuz that may anger her just talk calmly to her” and I was responding to that.
I think there is a time when you do have to stand up to them because they like to push us around and scare us. If they think that isn’t working and we’re not afraid, they often go away.

Since I’m on the “mom” side of the equation, I would have to go with telling the truth where ever possible. If the mom (in this case) was told what was happening and just won’t believe it, then I guess just saying nothing would be the next best plan.

hello it has been raining alot in australia and their is alot of water around so their is alot of water faerys around. when i talked to one it was looking in my eyes and well it looked like the water faery was looking in my eyes but it was like it was looking through them. then in the middle of a sentence she swam away and started singing as if i wasnt there in the first place! why did she do that is it because she didnt like me or a differant reason? do you know. brittany that person is it bearfoot its a earth feyling what happen is the faery baby has been swapped with the human baby. you will also know its a feyling when: it s hair is thick, it goes into the forest any time of the day,and loves plants.

Hello. I know silence is a wierd name but its what my closest friends call me. I am 13 years old and I see fairies. I have pixies in my garden a gnome in my nieghbors, and all manners of the Fae at the woods where i ride my horse. I have frequent and intence visions, vivid dreams, and see fairies very clearly. just this morning right when I woke up i heard the strangest sound it was the tinkling of bells and then a giggle. I had woke up annoyingly early possibly due to the pixies in my garden. They enjoy the city much more than other members of the Fae family due to the havoc they can reek on the many people in a suburb. unlike in the country where humans are more scarce. I have a dream where i met an elf. not hthe kind Natelie describedthough. This one was shorter and almost gnome like. she was 2 or so feet high with red hair. the dream was incredably long and vivid and i dont have the time space or patience to type it down although if i ever meet any of you I will gladly give you a recolection of this event. natelie if your reading this i would like you to know that i visit MI every summer very near to traverse city and we plan to move within that vincinity within the next to years. the sooner the better. I was wondering if you have any classes in the upcoming July. I know this is a bit early but i am desperate to have an adult to talk of these things to. I have had several people ask me if I have elvin blood lines, my cousin, myself, a girl named karli, and more are sure to come. I was wondering if that is possible?And if there is any way you could tell wether or not that is true of me.

Ajann. I feel your pain completely. you have a rare and sometimes scary gift called the “sight”. It allows you to see into other dimensions such as where ghosts and fairies are. I too haver the “sight” and I know how painful it can be to have your mother and every one close to you not believe you. my mother is the same. And about your gift to the fairies leave it beneath a tree or a bush or a place you often see fairies. say out loud that they may have it if they want and let it be. a fairy may not take it but leave it there to enjoy so just cuz its still ther doesnt mean the fairies didnt except it. hang in there girl!

hi, i’m ash and i was just visiting this website. before i started reading the messages left i could only think of one posible acurance between anyone i know with fairies but now i’m stating to remember some. My first one is something that happen to one of my younger brothers when he was smaller. You see my brother went out to help my dad pick up walnuts in our yard. The walnut could have just fallen out of the tree, but i’m not sure, becuase when it “fell” from the tree it hit my little brother right on this forehead and left a pretty big bruse and bump. Could a fairie have trown the walnut at my brother,or was it just an accident in nature? Also i was woundering if fairies can talk to you thru your mind becuase if they can i might have another story to tell.

ok after reading #76 i suddenly got a flash back, about some strange going ons that were happining at my grademother’s house. This could have just been my imagonation but, that day me and my younger brother (i have two, thisis the one that got hit) were in side our gradma’s house watching tv and eating popsicles. I look out the front door, for no perticuler reson and i see this boy walking outside the door. He was mabe about 5’9″ with blond hair about to his shoulders and a brownish colored (what looked like)sweat shirt on. i told my brother to tell my gradma i would be right back and went out side, well when i got there he was on there. So i looked around to see were he went, but he was nowere to be seen so i when around to my gradmothers garden (by the way my gradmother’s house is on a fairly good size area) and a start hearing my name being called by at first sounded like my grandma and then by another that was so beautiful i can’t even put it in words! Then i saw the boy. He was near a pond on my grandmothers property, but some how his hear color had changed. i blinked and he was gone. couold this be the work of fiaries or some type of ghost activty? Also i forgot to tell you that i checked with my grand,other and she did NOT call for me and no one else saw or heard these things.

there was a fairy in my house last nite and it was scaring me like crazy!!! I heard something outside then a clank or something. i senced someone was in the room then i heard an ectencioncord on my lamp scrape against the wall. i started to hear little footsteps on my pillows and the eerie feeling that someone was looking at me from the edge of my pillow. then it began to run and climb up my bed post! after it was up there it began to run along the metal frame of my bed and jump of. it repeated this several times. my heart was racing and my blood was continually running hot and cold. a minute or two after the noises stopped i turned the light on ran to go get my dog out of a nearby room. when i came ac into my room i was still terrified and my heart was racing dangerously fast. i kept wispering to myself settle down calm down its all right. a sudden thought that was louder than loud almost physical. so much so that it startled me said not gonna work. it was a young boys voice maybe 15 or so. after that i came in and out of sleep constantly. this happened last nite.

ofer it honey and things and tell it can live at your house (that is if you want it to)i have a fairy that lives in my house he is a house brownie like i told you about his name is finigun (fin-e-gun). some nights he sleeps in my bed or uses one of my dirty socks as a sleeing bag.he lives in the roof of the house and has a mouse named cheese. he uses dirty things to make his house but makes it look tidy. like he takes the fluff off the carpet a puts it on his bed and like a quilt,and make it perfectly even ones no higher than the other.sometimes pixies go crazy when in houses because they dont get enuf fresh air sorta like humidity when it gets hot and it make people jump off buildings and stuff.sorta like that but its only serten faerys i think pixies are ok with it. mybe it went crazy the first night you saw it so it couldnt get out of the house so it went into the bathroom and swam down the toilet to get fresh air. faerys will do anything to get air that probably what happened its just a theory.probably anyone who belives in faerys has a brownie in there house. fairy dust to you all! hi jordan your brownie buddy sounds real neat. my pixie left me alone last nite cuz its still kinda ashamed. i told it its okay and it can cfome back inside it just must be sure not to disturb my my dog and mustnt scare me at night when im not expecting it. i found that it likes to listen to me sing in the shower. although it really shouldnt sing along. i know from expierence that they are tone def and squeaky. they do play very nice music though.fairies and elves sing very well. there is a difference between a fairy and a pixie you know.

wow I guess this is what happens wen u dont visit the site for awhile !!!!! lol so many posts.Anyhow next weekend my parents are taking me down to the country side(swan valley) for a drive and a picnic and stuff cuz they’ve noticed alot of wild flowers growing lately. its really odd, ever since I’ve started seeing faerys and believing in them I have found that birds come near me more often like heaps!! I never get close to WILD birds but they always sem to fly near me and theres been alot of flowering in my garden!!! (my front one, not my back cuz my back one is empty) so I hope to see some or come in contact with sum next weekend

hey cloe. that is so lucky about your garden and flowers in your area. here in colorado the really short growing season is over. and good luck in swan valley it sounds beautiful. but something to relize is is that the fae there are not the same as near your house. so they havent seen or heard what youve done for the fairies.

actully Naveeta pixie dust is there dried skin flakes. no kidding. the fae have notoriously dry skin around there ears considering how hard it is to get blood up to the very tips. the skin wen it falls of becomes shimmery. the skin falls off constantly and the body of the fae repairies it within seconds. thats why wen fairies fly u often see a train of pixiedust behind them.

hey i had another fairy encounter last nite! well i have at least one every day but i dont have the patience to type them all down. well if youve read my preivious posts youll remember that there was a fae in my house. well now there back. it was unbearably cold last nite and i wispered outloud near my window tyhat all good fae may enter the house for the time being but the must not disturb any one. then i felt 2 enter the room! one laid down on my leg and the other walked along the edge for awhile until it decided to to lay rigt up against me. it was wonderful. until my dad came home. the garage door went up and the fairy on my leg jumped to there feet. i wispered its all rite he cant see you. then i felt it relaxe but it remained stock still for a while. then my dad came in to the room and shut my window. tht made them very uncofortable. i drifted off to sleep but not before feeling a tiny hand on my temple. i couldnt see them but i felt them as plain as day. they were both different sizes one was a pixie ot at least the size of one. i think it was though. and the other was the size and weight of a small cat. we dont have a cat or a SMALL dog so it couldnt have been that. i am so excited! no more nite terrors!!!!! yeah! i asked the fae in my room what there names were but all i got was a sigh. oh well try again next time!

Saw your comment about pixie dust and I just had to respond. Can you tell me where you got your information?
You seem really sure of what you wrote but I’m afraid I must disagree with you on this.
According to Mr. E, one of the Elves of Fyn, what the human’s have interpreted as pixie dust is not skin. Sometimes pixies radiate a certain color and you are seeing the trace of it that is left behind in their wake. This color effect is an energy that they produce and it is part of their magic.
However, elves and pixies alike do use dust – ground herbs- as part of their magic and perhaps that is why humans have coined the term “pixie dust.”

From what you have written here, it sounds more like you may have seen a ghost but I can’t be sure. Elves are tall like that but I doubt if they would wear a typical sweat shirt. Hard to say but it sounds like you did see something from a different world which is pretty cool

hehe something funny happened to me the other day I had an epifany!! I realized that 5 minutes(if I walked) from my house is our local park and its been there for years and its got a lake and is sourounded by a beautiful garden and many trees that grow wildly. sounds like another perferct faery place that I completely forgot. I do not know how I forgot about it because me and my best friend went there every day until she moved to the othe side of the country. hehe how stupid am I ???
lol I will place sum sweet treats there and see if that faery who I talked about in my first sighting post and in post 340 went there because I have the feeling they are not in my house anymore.

Perhaps, but if you look at it logically and think about how much skin would have to be shed to create that effect, it quickly becomes an impossibility. Besides, like I said, it is an energy signature and part of their magic.

Since you said, Faerys comes and stay with us sometimes when it is raining heavily or during winter, I remembered something my mom told me long ago.
Its a kind of bug with wings but like an ant shape. It was before raining, then my mum said, ” They came to stay with us because it is cold outside. ”
It didnt come with just one but many.
2nd was a very weird thing because i saw some of them were sitting on the crystals. – -” Even if i moved the crystals, they tend to follow it. Another one was, it was raining heavily most of them went to the fake flower like Purple Rose on my table. They like to snuggle( because it looks like it ) in the flower petals. soo weird o o.

I’ve seen another faery of late and I think I saw a ghost, I’ saw the faery quite qwhile ago I just didnt know how to explain it at all but now i think I do. Ok…I go to school half an hour away from home because mum didnt want me to go to the school thats local and because this school has the kinda things i like (film and play drama facilities, I wanna be a director) so thats were i go. I was in my school musical as I was in charge of props and scene changes. Anyhow we had rehearsals on after school which went from 3:00 to 5:00 so i had to stay back and help out and watch the actors rehearse then move and make scenes etc etc but at 5:00 I get picked up by my nana who lives near the school she then drives me to the train station where I get a train home. as it was 6:00 at night I was the only person on the train and there was 1 minute before it left a voice on the p.a said doors closing. as the doors closed I saw out of the corner of my eye long blonde hair and long pinkish white like fabric stuff which i suppose was like the end of a dress.The train began to move really fastly and I ran up to the window to see what it was but I couldnt see. but whatever i saw was similar to the first one I saw only this one was larger, this may sound silly but it was as big as barbie doll or so lol.I find it really coincidental that i saw it at the exact time i was thinking about faerys.

i got a new fae incounter! ok well its breeding season for birds in aust well just be4 it. so the birds are fighting(males) to win the girls. so theres this bird its head is black and the rest of his bodys basically gray. so it comes and lands on a tree outside the window in my room.so what he dos is he fly into the glass attacking his refelction because it wants to win the girls. so the other day day it was attacking my window again and this other bird flew down to it and scared it away. this bird was brown and what look liked red cheeks. then it look like it nodded and started to glow it became so bright that i couldnt see it and the glow slowed down and the bird became visible exect it wasnt a bird any more it was a fairy. the fairy had rosy red cheeks (like the bird) and had brown hair the same coular as the bird brown. it stared at me for 2 secs and flew up to the window waved and then flew to my fairy house i made. it was weird. oh and the person that said”why is everbody saying faery dust” its like hugs and kisses to you but fairywise ok and i read your coment about that but cant find it now so i dont know your name. fairy dust to you all! Oh sos cloe!! Um can ask all of you somthing? Are all of you my friends? if you are reply by saying yes or no.(isnt that obvious?)well anyway weve been shopping today and you know in the malls how they always have those artificiall plants like the plastic ones and stuff well by one of them there was a fairy.she was crying. she looked up at stoped crying and instead of having tears she had a huge grin across her face. then she followed us and hid in the shopping bag and them she came out of that and started using one of my mums hoop earing as a swing! then she got bored with that and started balancing my mums shoulder my scrachedc her shoulder send the fairy plumiting to the ground caughtand noticed that her wing was bent. so i stratined it out by this time we were at the door she flew out into the air waved at and heard a giggle and flew off. i felt something moveing in my pocket so i reach in and pulled out a lady bug and some shing powder probaly faery dust. the fairy was wearing a red flower with black strips down the petals so guessed she was a lady bug fairy. was she a lady bug fairy? why was she crying? why did she suddenly act so wierd? Yeah. Eversince we went to the waterfall area, alot of insects start to appear at out home. I remembered that I found a huge black beetle in the toilet.
Before that, when my family and I was still at the waterfall area, I chant out some words then placed some crystals on the ground. I couldnt seem to get good connection because of the steel tank near my room = =. I only realised now that when I placed one of the bug near my window ( the steel tank is outside the window ) It wouldnt stick there like an ordinary bug, it will just fly back to the purple flower on my table

i also remember when i was about 4 yrs old lots of little muscly men looking like vikins and muliticolored clothes playing with me on the covers on my bed -wondering what kind they are they used to talk to me thru my mind. they had no wings.
i also remember a lots of lines in a big showdow strangleing my neck when i was a kid it stoped after and dissapeared- again wondering what it was any ideas?

Since I was a child I saw some things. I always thought they were ghosts or just my imagination.
Once I was in a little village in the country and I was watching the panorama from a balcony on a square. Just below it I saw a man, dressed like an astronaut (:-S), walking slowly and repeating always the same word, with rough voice.
Another time I went in my parents room, but I stopped on the door, cos in the middle of the room, around te lamp on the ceiling, there was a strange orange thing flying. I thought it was a sort of dragon and I closed the door again, trying to look relaxed, even if I was scared to death.
Always in my parents room, mum says when I was a child I told her i saw bare feets walking and going out on the balcony, but I really don’t remember that.
Anyway, I keep feeling I’m not alone in that room and sometimes that scares me so much I don’t even look at the door.
I always have the feeling someone is there looking at me or moving in the flat, opening drawers and touching-hiding things.
When “it” or “they” (I just “feel” the presence)start becoming too “intrusive” I tell them to stay quiet and respect my space as I respect their space and things come back normal for some days.
Maybe it’s just suggestion, maybe there’s really someone there with me?
Do I have to worry or do you think I can relax?

I left a message in the afternoon, but maybe there was some problem with the pc.
I like this site and I hope you can help me understand what I saw or feel.
When I was a child I saw a sort of astronaut walking in a little country street, repeating the same words with a rough voice. No idea what it was.
Another time, in my parents room I saw bare feet walking (I don’t remember that, mum told me I told her) and I saw an orange being flying around the lamp on the celing. This one scared me so much.
When I walk in that room or just near to it, sometimes I have such a scary sensation that I don’t even look at its door.
Usually I never feel alone, even if there’s just my cat at home with me.
Things disappear and after sometime I can find them again, drawers open, like f there’s someone else around in the flat.
Sometimes “they” (I’ve never seen them, I just feel them) become too intrusive and I tell them “Stay quiet and respect my space as I respect yours. If you want to show me something, please, be a bit more careful!” and for some time they stop being that lively.
What can it be?

Hi. I’m 13 and i have seen your website for about 2months already. I only have 2 weird dreams and when I woke up at about 6am to get ready for school. A spark, a really bright spark behind the curtains where I placed a plastic flower seemed to be there for only 1 second. When I blinked, it was gone. The most often dreams is tat i kept going back to a place where there are troops of creatures, asking me to help them.
I thought it was somekind of fairy tale, but that dream had been going on for 2days. Any suggestions please?
The place was sunny most of them were like tinkerbell type, the grass was really tall, ( maybe I am the same size as them? ) there were mostly rock cliffs. Red Ant troops were there, the girls were mostly with leaf dresses.
Guys were mostly wearing hats.
It was a kind of short dream even thought it was a really tough adventure. It really felt like as if my feet were sore when i woke up. I only made it when we were on a rock cliff and a huge stone was infront of us.
Can anyone tell me the meaning?

Hi, I’m 13. Theres a steel tank behind my the window so I thought it would b impossible for a fairy to visit me. So I placed a plastic flower at the window. And yesterday, yesterday. When I woke up after a really weird dream. A really bright spark more like yellow and red was near the flower because i can see the flowers shadow. The steel tank is really small so it will be impossible to reach my window side.
The weird dream has been on for 2days and it will be the same place. There are tinkerbell types of fairys. The male will normally wear pointy hats.
The female will be wearing leaf dresses.
In that dream, a fairy told me I have return (?!) to help them. When I saw the ants, it was as if i was the same size as the fairies. The place was sunny, there were cliff rocks, tall grass, daisies, and many kinds of flowers.
When a really black thing came and they told me to run to the bridge. My feet became sore. The ant troops threw rocks at it but it didnt work so they cut of the bridge. The black thing seemed to look like me. Then when I woke up, my feet were sore but I cant seem to see anything, because when I was in their world, my feet was bare.

Jordan, thanks so much for sharing your encounter! Yes, that faerie was trying to get that bird away from the window for it’s own good.. The Fae, Pixies and all are like the guardians of the wild animals- and even many domestic animals as well
I think it wanted you to see him/her- and to show you what these Beings do. What a beautiful encounter!
BRITTANY, I know how you must feel about Zoom- I think one day he will surprise you and you’ll see him again. He may have needed to be in your area for a certain time- but who knows what his activities are, and where he is needed right now.
You can send out thoughts of love to him– and tell him that you will never forget him. You can even — out loud at night in your yard announce to the Faeries there that you miss him and would someone please send him the message.
I’ll pray for you — I miss the faerie that I saw but I still feel her listening when I speak to her in my mind. They can read our thoughts.
Today I went out for a walk in the woods, and I felt the Faery’s presence there– the bees and butterflies were everywhere. We’re having Fall here too- but there are still some bees and butterflies left yet.

I already wrote here three times, but I didn’t have reply
Various members of my family had encounters with not-human beings, that’s what’s happened to me.
I sometimes stays at home alone, but I still feel I’m not alone.
In particular, when I’m in my parents rom, I feel like if someone or something is behind me. Some days you can hear noises coming from other rooms, like if someone is opening drawers, even if the house is empty and I can’t find things I had in front of me just few minutes before, then I find them somewhere else after some time.
When this “being” gives me the impression to be too intrusive I tell him to stay quiet and respect my space, like I respect his space and things become quiet again for some days.
One day I saw a sort of shining dust falling from a near tree, mum saw that too.
Please, I’d like to know if there’s the possibility that someone from the little world is there in the house or not. I’d like that, but I’d also like to know how to behave to not be scared of them and make her feel “at home”.

i am sad i can feel the fairies presence weakening as fall approaches. At the same time i am exstatic! i felt compelled to tell my school conciler of the tings i see and found that not only does he believe me but has seen them as well. not of the same varieties but supernaturaul just the same! i also relized that the sparkles and patterns i see when i am outside are not seen by everyone as i had always asumed. i can actully SEE the veil that seperates our world from the faes. over and out.

I think I saw a ghost. I was outside on my swing (i know i seem a bit too old for that but it helps me think and vent)and my mom was in my brothers room because hes scared to fall asleep alone. but i was outside and my brothers window blinds were open so i would see if anyone came in or out. I saw a bare arm and a leg and what seemed like a pair of jean shorts and a white tee shirt. i thought it was my mom at first so i kept looking in the kitchen area to see if she would come out but i never saw anything leave. i didnt feel scared but i knew it was ghost just the same. like a minute and a half later i saw a pair of chubby toddler legs run by in what looked like a diaper and light blue shirt which is impossible because my brother is the youngest and hes nine!!! im not spooked like you might think. i dont feel threatened in any way. its not a warm and fuzzy feeling like i want to be thier friend as it is with the fae but more like i acknowledge them and dont want to harm them. sorta like a person in you pass in the supermarket and you nod and smile maybe even exchange small talk but nothing else. i aslo thought i saw a man fall off the roof the other day. over and out.

Hello, it’s me again :-S
Yesterday was one of those nights during which the “beings” in my house were particularly lively.
I was sitting in front of my pc, reading with loud voice some rights and terms to work in England.
There were some noises around me, but I didn’t give them importance, I thought it was just the wood of the furniture creaking.
At one point, in the right corner of my eye, on the floor, I saw, I mean, I clearly saw something moving.
It was grey-brown, the size of a cat, so I thought it really was my cat playing and rubbing her back on the floor.
But when I turned to look at her, I felt my blood freezing, cos she wasn’t there!
I felt so surprised and scared, I didn’t have idea of what it was. I kept staring at the floor for at least half an hour!
Do you think it might be some fairy or some other creature or am I going crazy? :-S
Please, I really need your help! :-S

SILENCE, i thin kyou have a VERY VERY specaial talent. But if u ever do feel threteed that u should tell them that u dont wish to see them right now and to leave u alone. my mom tells me to do that and it works.it does sound creeepy but to be truthful the sometimes that happns to me.(and i only 12) like i saw a little girl in my kitchen throw the mirror.she had black lond wavy hair and a old time dress on. i wasnt creeped out at all. and then i saw a black shadow of a man in mid walk in my hall way.again nothin. i didnt realy care. i know how you feel silennce…

OMG NO WAY!! I USE TO THINK THAT I COULD CONTROLL THE WIND!! hey brittany. no i can not see oras of people and animals or trees but i do see patterns of energy in the 4 elements.the paths arent exactl paths but more like curtains that blow and somitimes push open a little. but theyre see through curtains that make the other side kinda fuzzy and not completley clear. that is so cool how alike we are! you’d LOVE my cousin and friend thorn! shes like my twin and now you’re my triplet!!!! hope to hear from you soon!

the weather is sooo cruddy hear in colorado today. it actully snowed! im not one for sunny and hot days but i do not enjoy freezing weather either. i wish i was in michigan which is where my parents are planning on moving soon.YAY!!!!!! but my dad has to get a job and we need to sell our house for a decent price. my moms whole family lives in MI and i love it there. its so green and then so red orange and yellow and then its so white and then its so green all over again. sorry im bored and when im bored i ramble.

no sadly i cant walk through the curtain. it moves when you try to go closer to it. and i see energy lines in water fire earth and wind. i have a pesonel afection for the wind becase its MY element but is do see patterns in other elements. like in the ocean i see huge pulsating energy like a heart beat and in earth i see criss cross patterns like a coursly woven blanket. fires energy leaps and bounds all over the place and airs moves and bends and is in my opionion the most eautiful energy pattern ive ever seen. lakes have a lazy energy that just sits on the top and creeks energy ripples all over and sometimes splashes and it moves very quickly.
